I have that exact gravy boat . My grandmother got it as a wedding gift in I’m pretty sure 1926, (can’t remember exact year off the top of my head ) I know they made them in the cream color but also in green . She had a mixed set and I have eaten Thanksgiving dinner on them every year of my life. Last Thanksgiving , after dinner, I washed the set and boxed it up and gave it to my oldest daughter for Christmas who will start hosting Thanksgiving for the family this year. 😊
The hole on the back of the clown isn’t to hang it on the wall. It’s because it’s hollow. The hole keeps it from exploding / shattering during heating when it’s fired in manufacturing. It also can allow the interior of figurines or items made from clay to dry out completely before painting.
My sister and I are in Warsaw,Poland right now. We have bought several vintage polish pottery from the local flea markets today. You would have gone crazy with all of the vintage stuff.
I'm so glad you rescued Joseph, Mary and baby before they ended up broken. Wooing... now there's a word you don't hear very often. You should of gotten the Good Bad & Ugly for one of your shops. It would be a good memory of your Dad but I'm sure you have lots of good memories from your childhood. Thanks Jocelyn for another fun shop🥰
Jocelyn on those really pretty teacups with saucer. I make Divinity at Christmas time and put it in there wrap it in some pretty see through tissue paper. Make a pretty bow and I give them to my friends.
Love your videos. I have learned so much from you. I started reselling in an antique mall almost a year ago. Now let's talk rocks....my dad collects rocks, I do, my children do and now I've passed that passion onto my 4 year old grandson. Rocks are wonderful. Let them have Rocks! Kids can get hurt on or with anything at anytime. Of course caution and guidance is important, but we can't wrap them in bubble wrap. Lol 😊
Jocelyn, you were right! That was a geod which is a rock! with the mineral quartz inside: the individual shapes of minerals are call crystals. Every mineral has a crystaline structure formation; there are 6 basic crystalline structures.
At 3:28, when you picked up the "dangerous rock", there was a miniature stoneware advertising jug to the right on the same shelf. These are worth $$$ especially if they are advertising a liquor manufacturer. These were samples given to customers.
Right out of the gate I was screaming YEEEEESSSS all the way from Idaho :) Love the orange serving set :) I would use in for my vintage 40's 50's Christmas along side my Holt Howard Toma and Jerry set :P Have a great evening everyone!!!!!!
What fun! Great choices. I haven’t seen a video of you shopping Heart of Ohio lately. You are in Ohio a lot. Love to see you shopping the Berner Brothers antique mall.
That’s an old ivory Fiesta from the 30’s and the movie poster sure looked real and should be worth good dollars. The old brass pieces are very cool. Someone told me tinfoil balls can clean up rust really easily. Every time you get Laurel a new rock I think that girl is going to be an antique archeologist. Digging up rocks bones and treasures 💗😝
I think a fun game is to count how many comments you get every time you call a geode a rock. It’s like people think you honestly don’t know by now what they are, ha ha. I personally love that you call them rocks, because they ARE rocks!! 😂 xoxo
Every time you pick up another crystal/rock, I have visions of an episode from I Love Lucy. It was about a caravan holiday where she collected rocks (bowling ball size) from every location they visited. When you go on your caravan holidays, make sure Laurel only collects tiny rocks 😂😂😂.

Yes 👏🏻! One of my three daughters loved rocks as a toddler and still does. She is now 31. She started a rock garden when she was 2 and she would collect a rock from each place we went . We helped her mark the place and date on them. As she got older she created an accompanying scrapbook with a photo of each rock, where it came from, the year she got it , and the type of rock it was. She would also write a little paragraph telling the story of finding it. We moved twice while she was growing up and so did her rock garden. She is now 31 , married , has 2 children and her own home and still has her rock garden. She has never stopped collecting and logging in her scrapbook. Her rock garden is gorgeous and she has added a little water feature as well. I think she has around 120 - 130 rocks in her garden, all different shapes sizes colors and types . So fun to sit in her yard reminiscing about all the stories that go with each rock🥰
If the “F” is lowercase, it's older. Having a lowercase “F” without a loop at the top is a vintage piece. If the “F” is lowercase with a distinctive loop, it was made after 1986.Dec 7
Same here in the Des Moines and surrounding area. Either Iowa is full of thrifters or we don’t donate anything worthwhile. The shelves are practically empty and have nothing but junk on them.
I had at least 20 subscriptions of RUclips thrifting and flipping channels😮 Yesterday I got it down to 3…Jocelyn, Laura Caldwell and Kate’s Treasure Hunting🤭🥳
You did not waste $4.49 on the Ivory fiesta Gravy boat. You can at least triple your money. Where I live many people bought the color ivory in Fiesta ware dishes.
It would be neat to make a castle play house out of 2x4’ (interior), half inch concrete backer board (outside). Then all her collection of rocks she gathers on the exterior.
I sell a lot of prints, the trick is to give them the option of just the print, always make sure it is not stuck to the glass. But I sell them on EBay all the time. 9/10 I throw out the frame
The mini face isn't that a toothpick holder ? And that's not a crystal it's called a geode I believe. I feel like I'm being so critical please forgive me, but I hope that you looked inside that cookware, I thought that was just a bit pricey.

I have this Fiesta gravy boat in green, same lettering. I’m 75 and my gravy boat was my mother’s.
Yup me too. Was my Mom's and is green! I'm 77!
That fiesta piece looked old
My hometown. Thanks for stopping by. Would have loved to see you.
The rock with a few crystaline pieces in the cut center is A geode

My mom had one of the miniature wooden dachshunds. Now that brought back a sweet memory. 💕
Yes originally fiesta was spelled with a capital F. I do believe its an older piece for sure
Ivory was one of the original fiesta ware colors from the 30’s
Great finds. I think the Clint Eastwood The Good The Bad and The Ugly is a poster. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day

I’d love to have that Clint Eastwood poster!
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
Jocelyn, I think you should have picked up the Clint Eastwood movie poster.

En el momento en que vi el bolso kislux , supe que tenía que tenerlo.
Creative Co Op is a wholesale company that sells clothes, jewelry, and furniture ... but mostly home decor
It’s lovely that you buy rocks for Laurel. A great investment for her future. Some of the rocks have good value.
It is very old fiesta my mother has this gravy boat and she will not touch the new fiesta. I call her a fiesta snob lol
Love that orange color! Killer find!
I didn't know those food warmer things were called that, learnt something
When will you have more sold videos? I really enjoy those, almost as much as the shopping videos.
She probably hasn't had time with planning the move and taking care of niknax. Maybe when things calm down.
So many things to buy, wish we gad huge stores in Australia
Oh an the rock was a geode very pretty and worth money
I think the poster was real because someone took the time to frame it professionally
The Clint Eastwood movie poster was so great

She did a video with Jacob, so I'm sure she shopped there when she was in Ohio.
Great snag on the Goebel figures.
I also watched The Good, The Bad and The Ugly with my Dad(RIP🙏) way back in the early to mid 70's😊
Great series. Watched it 3 times❤
I liked the Scarlet Fiesta Ware that was seen earlier than the ivory sauce boat too.
That’s an old ivory Fiesta from the 30’s and the movie poster sure looked real and should be worth good dollars. The old brass pieces are very cool. ✔️Fiesta. Old. Had a chip on foot.
The teeny weenie dog! Love it!
Yes, Indian pottery can be worth a great deal. I used to sell it for short time. Use Lens to figure out tribe....Wooing through serenading. ;)

conringware snack dishes. Set of 7 at 5:22 are worth $5.00 and up. Don't know what the price was on them.
Yes on the Fiesta
If the Poster is original it would be dated in the bottom right and worth at least 250.00 and up.
Original fiesta. Google the change in the labels over time. That one looks much older that you grabbed!

It was from the movie the long, long trailer

sweet Jocelyn all you have to do is pull that blue tab upward in that top shelf of the cart and nothing can slip through it then.
That Clint Eastwood was a poster it would of look great in your store and would of sold for 100$ or better
Loved the cute little guy at the end 😊🐶
“WE NEED MORE COWBELL”
if you know you know😂🤣
hint: SNL. in case you don’t
Laurel needs a corner of your yard to start a little rock garden ! :)
With succulents! 😂

The fiesta is called ivory and is one of the older pieces
Isn't it because the letter f in Fiesta is not capitalized? Isn't that a sign that it's an older piece? thank you
If the “F” is lowercase, it's older. Having a lowercase “F” without a loop at the top is a vintage piece. If the “F” is lowercase with a distinctive loop, it was made after 1986.Dec 7
That strawberry pitcher is adorable
Loved the dog and crystal rock.
I think the hole in the clown is so he won't blow up during firing. Air and moisture needs to be able to escape
It's interesting that the Goodwill's in my area seem like they are places full of people's trash. The ones you go to seem really nice.

It looked like a poster from here in Florida 😮
I love the Polish pottery. I’ve bought several pieces from you
Love the orange pans
Hi from uk ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
The vintage Fiesta is ok & you will make your $ back asis just very little profit the depression iris & herringbone dinners were ok if again no chips
I've done that so many times! Put something in the top of the cart and it slides right down. 😂😂
More cowbell!
The one movie you watched was a classic 👍
The capital F in fiesta means it’s older. Maybe even 1930s
If the word “Fiesta” has an uppercase letter, your piece is new.
@@WhateverHappenedToHer0331 you are correct i transposed that in my head!
Love the serving set. Got some random pieces today. How did Laurel get hooked on rocks?
Laurel is a kid. Kids like rocks. No mystery.
A miniature sale sounds fun.
That Hebrew piece is very cool. I love it!
Hello from Mexico 👋
You could never go wrong with Clint Eastwood. Lol
Flip up the plastic piece in your cart basket so nothing slips through! I always get so nervous thinking your treasures are going to fall out!
I think that was Benjamin Franklin! 😜
You did not waste $4.49 on the Ivory fiesta Gravy boat. You can at least triple your money. Where I live many people bought the color ivory in Fiesta ware dishes.
Maybe one day Laurel will become a geologist and she can look back at your video that contained rocks/crystals.
No you can use as gravy bowl not a waste of money right
Thanks
Good evening Jocelyn ❤❤😊😊
Loved the video❤😊.
