Nice job. Hank Hill would be proud. "Taste the meat, not the heat". lol. Show us that pizza 🍕 plank on there now.
EXACTLY!!! Fancy ain't necessary! As long as it cooks and will last a bit...go for it! I agree with the late night grub quick cook too. Charcoal/open fire cooking is the best but I like the idea of something quick and still pretty tasty on the gas grill.
Thank you for your service!
What a great demo. I actually have wondered just how good that grill was.
Thank You for your service! Nice grill! I have to have my HB steak SWIMMING in A1, well any steak for that matter. Love the stuff.
A1 is the best
Great video. Buying one tomorrow at Walmart. Price is $107 now but it's been 5 years since this video was made. Thanks for sharing!
Back down to 86 this year
96$ not including Gavin newsom taxes” 2024
Just bought one this weekend thanks for the review!
excellent review -- clear, entertaining, informative -- thank you!
,,,,very good ,,very nice,, man them burgers look good,, thanks Dutch,,,,
Very nice grill my brother I like it good pick bro it's awesome :)
We got one of those 1/2 gas 1/2 charcoal grills at Walmart. We love it. Gas is for after work BBQ in the evening but we use charcoal and apple wood on the weekends or for special occasions. Can't beat the flavor of charcoal but the convenience of gas is hard to beat also.
Thanks For Your Service.
Good video man! I bought this grill recently, I like it so far!
I have been looking for a grill and never though of looking at Walmart ... Thanks
For the price you can't beat that and honestly they aren't that bad, but im spoiled on my charcoal grill lol. Thanks for sharing.
Dutch, I have had one of those for about a month and made burgers, steak and chicken.....all worked great! Line the bottom with tinfoil though to keep the grease from fallin through!
Greenhorn Farmer I seen all those holes on bottom I was thinking I needed to figure out what to do about that, thanks I'll do that.
Is this grill still holding up strong? 4 years later?
i wonder…
Lol
Good video thanks for sharing man!!!
Another idea is pop over to Craigslist and find an older Weber.
I picked up a Genesis Silver from about 2005, $25, with two full propane tanks.
What a steal.
Plenty of room, made a dozen burgers today.
Check offerup in my city they give away grills all the time. Im never buying a new one again
Getting one tomorrow my old grill just fell apart used to have a portable grill that look like the Aussie grill but instead of charcoal it used them portable or connect 20lb propane tank and was made by Backyard Grill, it had two burners with knobs to control flame/temp and a piezo ignition. I even made a rack for it to use charcoal, I would use burners to light it then turn off, guess you could call it DIY hybrid charcoal/propane grill.
Cool i like it
Thanks for the review, my friend
Thank you for your service to our nation.
THANKS FOR THE COOKING VIDEO. YOU HAD THE ONLY COOKING VIDEO ON RUclips. EVERYONE ELSESWAS AN ASSEMBALY VID. TODAY, I FOUND THE SAME GRILLFOR FREE ON MARKETPLACE AND IT'S LIKE NEW. I ALREADY HAD 11 GRILLS BUT HEY..... I AINT PASSING UP A FREE GRILL. I GAVE YOU A LIKE.
Cool... I never had a problem with a cheapo grill once you find the sweet (hot/cool) spots on the surface... Get that dialed in, and you are good to hook... Peace Dutchman...
this would come in handy during rolling blackouts with no electricity
Just bought one three days ago and love it
Hows it holdin up?
Grill works great
Dutch where the heck is mine? I wasn't hungry till I saw this Thanks a lot. lol
Its 2019 any update on this grill. I bought one last year and forgot about it in the garage. Ran it this video so got up And assembled its nice. Unfortunately I found rust on some of the threads and wing nut SITTING IN MY GARAGE??? UPDATE installed grill gauge
3 burners on low 650 degrees.
2 burners on low 400 degrees.
1 burner on low 325 degrees
Pre heat and use half onion to clean once the grill is hot, helps clean off the rust if it's an old grill!...once done cooking always pre heat again without food and scrape the fat off he grill the fat from meats is what makes the grills rust
I'm getting one
Thank you. My husband just bought one yesterday. We haven't used it yet. I wanted to see a review on it but with someone actually using it. This is an old video, so I'm wondering if you did ever do a review on it after using it a while?
No i haven't but im still using it and its held up very good especially for the price.
@@KeepingItDutch Ok well that's good to know thank you! 👍 I can't wait to use mine!
Man...that's the same steak we had for dinner last night! Dude...beware...I had a good friend that was an insurance adjuster....many homes go up in flames from cooking under the porch...she opened my eyes.....I never even thought of it
They have the miniature charcoal grills for like $30 at Wally World.
Lone Star Living they actually have one for $13 lol but I was wanting a cheap propane one for when I got off late and didn't feel like waiting on charcoal lol
Put sum mushrooms n onions on it and it turns into a rich mans steak ;o) I just saw one of the small grills U R talking about but can't remember where.
You can order them online from walmart and they ship it to the store for free
Was it easy to assemble?
Got the same grill had to put together did so what is the purpose of the chain
Just got this grill last weekend only it was $107.00 in the box. LOL pandemic inflation! Anyway, I have put together a lot of grills in my lifetime and this is hands down the easiest grill to assemble. It took me about a 1/2 hour and no tools required. Everything is wing nuts and bolts with large plastic caps.
Watch out for the wheels after one breaks.
Yep! The wheels are weak, but at least it has wheels. I only use them to reposition the grill.
3rd year my burners barely kick out a high flame on high what could my problem be
No pre season?
Not bad for some chicken, burgers, and pork.
Need to contact Wayne for all the propane questions ....
You need to contact Wayne and tell him to cook on his regular stove because obviously charcoal and wood smoke is the bomb.
Mine was broken out the box and one igniter was not connected
That's big enough to cook sufficient meat for all of your family in one go, whereas your single burner one would be 1 - 2 people only wouldn't it? That BBQ looks good, it worked fine & provided you don't lug it around to different spots on your land where it could get banged & dented, it'll do it's job perfectly. The metal it's made of (Aluminium? ) Sounds a little bit tinny, and the warming rack in the lid may not handle a huge weight of food, but you'd need everyone home to test that out. See how many T-Bone or Mystery Location Steaks that baby can handle. 😂 Have you had the wedding yet?
Essem Sween yes it was last Sunday, very nice wedding, I didn't get to film any of it bc I was in charge if all the food, I smoked a bunch of different meats for them. It was a great time.
Keeping It Dutch That's great Dutch, could you please pass on my Congratulations to them & my wish for a happy & healthy life together? Thank you.
🙈 Yall really dont wash anything before you use it lol 😂😂😂
It’s $ 97 now! 🤔
Lmao 112 as we speak I'm here at walmart
They forgot to remove their price tag
Pffft uneven heat, that kills me, I hate that shit
Come on man.... You know nothing beats charcoal or smoked that's the only wat to roll
lineflyer1 hahaha yes, I only got this for quick cooking after late nights at work. I do charcoal and smoking on the weekends. ..
My charcoal grill is 15 yrs old and been outside the whole time grilled smoked even in snow. Finally the cast iron grates worn out and breaking and need replacement. Best $100 I ever spent
lineflyer1 I've been cooking strictly with charcoal and my smoker for 12 years, I haven't used propane since back in 2005 lol, charcoal hands down is my favorite, but sometimes I get home late and don't feel like waiting on the charcoals, so this will do me good on those days.
Taste gas????
You'll be replacing burners in a year or two. You will throw it away within 3 years. That was our life until we bought a Weber. Nuff said, huh?
James Kelley or I could buy one of these every three years and not spend 600 bucks so I would have probably 20 years before the Webber pays for itself sooooooo ya guess it’s up to you if you want the pretty grill or just a cheap one that you won’t be bad when something scratches it or something happens to it etc.
Webet is garbage I had that grill horrible
Did you season the grill first?
