It’s literally impossible to state what this means to 2000’s moto heads…that 2.5 hours felt like 15 minutes. THANK YOU RC AND BUBBA!!! Y’all just made my entire 2023 and it hasn’t even started yet. Wow. Just wow. GOATS 1a and 1b…can’t argue that.

Until you said the length the show was I didn't even thing about it. It did seem like about 15 minutes. when I was ending I was thinking "Already?". This video should be archived in the motocross hisotrical archives forever. The lessons learned are incredible. Just goes to show, doesn't matter how good you are, when faced with someone who's close to your speed and competition is introduced, most people fill their heads with self-doubt and fear. Both these badasses could not believe the other feared them or thought they weren't as good....this is gold.

Honestly i cant get much better than this, perhaps if Chad was at the table aswell. But honestly i almost get emotional because that was my highschool era and the sport that gave me so much, and back in those days we had to wait to download the races to see them afterwards because overseas we did not have the same chanels, so we had to stay away from vital and transworld to not get the results (most of the time) we could watch the race one day after, than read the magazines. By this time now all these years later i think both Carmichael / Stew and Reed knows how much impact they had on thousands of fans worldwide, the sport was at its peak and for me personaly it helped me through some rough years.
IT is so great to listen to the best the sport ever had and will have, call me biased but i dont see it the sport ever be the same again as it was in the 90´s and early 2000´s.

If you’re talking about revolutionized the sport , and I know he wasn’t on the show but in terms of guys that revolutionized the sport Jeremy McGrath had as big of an impact as RC and JS7 , maybe even bigger. Bringing his skills from BMX and staying low and fast over jumps changed everything. Ricky changed everything with how hard he trained off the bike , and Stewart came in and took staying low and fast over a
Jump to a whole new level with the scrub. Nobody even today can scrub a jump like JS7. But the way guys raced until MC came in arguably had a bigger change as far as revolutionizing the sport.

Can't wait for kids on the couch. The Moto world rarely talks about that moment but it's always been one that stood out in my mind that the three of you were all revolutionary game changers. Ricky brought a new level of focus and intensity in prepping for racing, James you brought an entirely new style of riding that everybody does now, and of course you were the first prominent African-American Motocross rider in the United States and you dominated. I've often said you are to Motocross as a black man what Eminem is to rap as a white man. And Travis changed everything helped create a brand new sport and made himself a worldwide celebrity still going strong today. So grateful that I got to be fans of and watch all three of you do your thing. I'm still a fan too.

Kids today just can’t comprehend the level these two guys were on! This is like Jordan and Kobe, Ali and Tyson, Brady and manning! Rog over there on the left is literally the luckiest person ever! I hope every kid that’s into racing watches this and takes as much as they can from it. This is what perfection is! I love this so much….

This was such an amazing podcast. It’s exactly why Ricky and Bubba are the GOATs.
PS: James, we rode together at Bithlow in Orlando in probably ~2004? I have a photo of us in a turn. It’s hilarious because we both were wearing exactly the same gear minus the helmet (and bike lol). You came with another guy and he was riding one of your bikes. I think you were driving a Silverado. I really appreciate how nice you were to me. I was a young kid and I looked up to you both.

Great to hear the Insights from both of your sides. Its really interesting hearing what you each did to beat the other. I live the detail and all the intricacies. You both chnaged the games completely. No era had lived up to what you 2 and Chad did . I'm glad to be witness to it from uk. Definitely have to recreate the kids on the couch that would be epic!! What's so fascinating is you have not arguably but the fastest SX rider of all time and the fastest MX rider of all time in the same room talking about the best riding indoors and Outdoors in the history of the sport. JS races a long time so the new generations know how talented he really was. But they dont realize why RC is called the goat. Amazing to finally get this. And RC is just so humble even after knowing he had JS covered outdoors and humble enough to admit JS greatness in doors and the same for Stewart, I love it

@@ronk6553 James was the fastest ever on a Supercross track. You can watch 05-07 Outdoors to clearly see RC dominance of James and everyone else. Its all over youtube. James beat RC outdoors just a couple of times and 2 out of 3 RC either wrecked or lost a google lense. The rest of the time he either took off and never looked back or he would pass him then gap him. RC fell a few times and still caught and gapped James. And this was when he was on a 4 stroke. You can blame it on the 2 stroke in 05 but not gonna fly in 06 and 07. James admitted in the pod cast RC had him second guessing himself out doors. Im a fan of both of them but you JS fans kill me with this same thing and all the excuses of why he's really faster although RC beat him outdoors 99 % of the time.
