Omg! The orchestration!! Band did an amazing job giving Neil’s song the Chicago treatment while highlighting his insane vocal range!
Neil's doing great. I had my doubts, but he's proven me wrong.
The brass and vocal harmony, always can tell a Chicago song.
Very nice. Completely fresh sounding but still has the “Chicago” sound. Wow!
It's new Chicago, I hope they keep creating new music. We need some more guitar solos though.
Only With The Horns...
Best group ever
This song fills the ear. Very satisfying in a Wichita Lineman kind of way. The best song on the album.
Very lovely sweet song. One of the best on the album
This newer singer, such a silky smooth voice, and soothing to the spirit & soul. Loving this latest version of Chicago.
This one is just smooth and easy on the ears. Kinda reminds me of when Peter sang with them. Probably not intentional but a nice reminder of those days……
You guys never disappoint. What a great new album. Loved you since ;67-68!!
Just celebrated my granddaughter's 21st. birthday. Requested this song to be played by the disc jockey hired for the evening! Memorable moment for the both of us!
This is such a great song. Wish their audiences would allow them to perform it live!
Chicago has been the soundtrack of my life and their incredible music keeps on coming 🙏🏻💜
Beautiful song
I listened to Chicago with my FABULOUS MOM and DAD. I STILL DO BECAUSE of Appreciating this GREAT BAND of Brotherhood and great memories with my FABULOUS MOM and DAD.
Chicago doing their best Jimmy Buffet. I kid. Best song on the new album. Very poignant, especially for those of us with kids heading off to college and career

This song is a great throwback to soft rock from the late 1970!
Great song! Nice to hear new music from Chicago! Thanks a bunch from a long time fan.

So good ✨️
This new song on Chicago's new album reminded me of my sister's poem she published before she passed away in 2012.
Vickie Lynn Edwards Spivey, published a few poems under the name Victoria Emerson-Edwards.
Here's one of them:
THE SEA OF LIFE
Secure am I in my harbor
Although the waters often are rough
Venture I out for excitement and pleasure
In the sea of life
For a harbor's not enough.
A harbor I need,
This I know is true,
A place to be safe in still waters of blue.
But also need I adventure and passion
And freedom found only flying with the wind,
So set I my sails for uncharted courses
To partake and enjoy all the sea has to give.
-Victoria Emerson-Edwards
From LYRICAL FIESTA --A poetry festival in print

De herfst kan eindelijk zichzelf zijn met dit geluid!!!!!!😄😀😃😄
@neildonell7952 Dearest Neil. Ignore the naysayers. Your contribution as a composer on this record has now been immortalized ❤ It's a great ballad. This album is really growing on me. I wish you would be able to convince the band to visit Australia ❤ It would be my life's dream fulfilled to see y'all play in Sydney at Opera House or another venue. Also don't forget to visit Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Alice Springs, Hobart & Darwin ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kinda bummed that they’re only playing one song off the new album on this tour.
I Know Right? It’s just the same tired old songs for the last 20 years since 2001. They don’t even play “Look Away” anymore, and that’s one of their most popular songs. Aside for one new song their set lists are so predictable (same old, same old) now.
Música 🎶 romântica dar prazer de ouvir mesmo as internacionais 🤪
I assume this album was straight Chicago meaning no session musicians since this was recorded at Lee’s studio, BTW was Lou on this album since most of this recorded before he left and if so, was his lead vocals he made have had deleted or overdubbed?
According to Wikipedia Lou Pardini sings on songs 1, 3 & 8 only.
Lots of extra musicians, especially guitarists.
Is it only me that thought the spelling of Harbors with an added "u" was a reference to the spelling of colors in "Fancy Colours" from Chicago 2?
It’s the Canadian spelling…as is Neil who wrote the song
Like!! ✅
Wanneer gaan jullie een uiteindelijke thuishaven vinden ?
either Peter Gabriel or Phil Collins inspired it.
You should rename yourselves to " The Vancouver Sound System"!
Is this a Neil solo record??? Just checking, jeez.
A heartwarming wonderful song about the growing up of our children. It brings tears to my eyes. Great Chicago sound
Jeff Hanjian
Good song, but not Chicago.
I would suggest that my bandmates, Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane and Jimmy Pankow would prefer to differ. All 3 are on this track. That makes it a Chicago song. That and being on a CHICAGO album. It’s called evolution …
@@neildonell7952 It's a great song Neil. You're right, it's the new Chicago sound. I was a skeptic, but you are definitely part of the band. When you write and cut a record with these guys you are a band member. I wish you continued fortune and success, thank you for keeping my favorite band going into the future.
Chicago has many styles!
@@neildonell7952 Thanks for saying so. I think many pine not just for "the old days" but resist any form of change. The sound and style of this album is less different than the previous few then, say, 16 was from XIV, don't you think, with mostly the same people. But I think evolution is not always the same as change. The original line-up changed their sound over their first decade together. But new members are not the same sort of evolution. Didn't Jason get heckled when he replaced Peter? As a songwriter myself, a song is very personal. So if you wrote it, it is YOURS, but also Chicago's if they are included and gave it their treatment. You are a member now since '18, I think. So I wonder if Tim Hill thinks as song like Hard Habit To Break is more or less a Chicago song because it was written by outsiders. Is "I'm A Man" a Chicago song? They play it every show!
However, I do get the sentiment. I recently read a quote by Lamm pertaining to Twenty-1 where he said in part: "In spite of all of the success that Chicago has had since 17, for me, [the material has] not really been [authentic to] the band." He was referring to the Diane Warren songs and others, even though she gave them some big hits earlier. The band played on those also, and were included on a studio album, but in that case members' reservations about them suddenly reflect what some fans were thinking as well.
Hope you're with the band a long time. And I hope the personnel changes/departures stop or at least slow down a bit. I think fans and members alike have asked a version of the question: "is it still Chicago if there are no original members?" Bands like the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Rush are on record for not dreaming of continuing even if one person was gone, in two cases THE DRUMMER. So personnel change issues are viewed very differently depending on the band. I wonder why that is?
@@neildonell7952 No disrespect, but long time listeners still miss Terry Kath's soulful contribution. This doesn't take away from your talent. It's a good song.
