Landing in Redmond: United Express Embraer EMB-120

An afternoon approach and landing on into Redmond/Bend Regional Airport on board a United Express (Skywest) Embraer EMB-120 coming from Portland International Airport.

I do not, and am quite interesting in seeing if anyone may know what it was, because it was quite concerning during the flight. It was made following takeoff as well.

Is it true that they used these planes on RDM-DEN & RDM-SFO before the CRJ-200/700 replaced them? That would be rough!
