Saw them down the grayhound pub , Fulham palace road, years ago, good band,on the way back to Hammersmith had big fight with loads of skins ,we done alright,,🍺👍
@motorvating Helloooagain. Yep, sure was me. Thanks for the nice comment regarding my Hot Rod. Can you believe...I just sold it (again) yesterday. Oh well, I got a nice PA Cresta to relace it so it's not all doom and gloom. Thanks again, BillyG
Best neo rockabilly band ever! Enjoy to see them come back again after all these years. They turned the original 50-ties sound into something new, something exciting. Not too authentic, not too trashy, just right. Great vocals. Love it!
When they first come out they where singing rocknroll rockabilly songs in the same way as they did in the 1950s they where singing cover versions of the 50s.they where very authentic when they first come out with the original singer in the band.
I remember your band, I stil, have the Zodiac single lol. Remember your lead singer came to a gig at Hinckley with his black died quiff and nearly got his faced filled in cause all the birds fancied him lol good rockin times.
sitrep 12; I remember you Dave. Hell, I remember all the Rockabilly Bands that played at the Royalty, coz I wanted to be in all of them!!! Great great memories of an even greater era! Rock on you Cats..BillyG
Hi Dave. You were one of the first drummers that inspired me. I am now a front man but, Hell, you guy's were the best! Yeah, I'll keep rockin but it will never be the same as it was back then. Anyone got a time machine they dont want? Billy Gibbons.
Hey Little Tony, no way will you remember me but I was the drummer with a band called the Rythmn Hawks. Just wanted to say Hi and "Foodabilly" remember that? You had that written on your case when we played at the Royalty, Southgate all those years ago. Rock on Clint. BillyG
Bloody great! Stuff like this ain't made anymore... even though good stuff is made today, this is what laid the ground for psychobilly, as they were a part of starting it. I was there in the early days, (yes, a reference to Blue Cats...) and had fun, and I wish I had a time machine, so I could go back to the heydays! ;) Wish I could find the 4 songs by The G-Men as well...
@mitchly Actually got around to checking your hotrod out (don't like to rush) and its the dogs nutts. Yep that was you that came to Hinckley all right, which must of been around 1979 - 1980 ish. Any chance of borrowing your chicken? I promise not to eat it.
Hahahaha..motorvating!!! That was funny, the person in question that nearly got his face filled in wasn't the lead singer, it was the drummer....ME!!! Hahaha. It's hard to believe but it's true. Check out "Billy Gibbons Hot Rod" on here and you'll see why it's hard to believe! Still got me hair dye though....
@mitchly You can borrow my Chicken with pleasure but..if your not going to eat it...what ARE you going to do with it? Mind you, I dont mind as long as you dont eat it coz it's a special Chicken. Type in "Billy Gibbons Audlem" to see why.
Has to be one of the best modern day Rockabilly songs ever
Excellent musicians, always very in tune and with good melodies and rhythm.

I have the 12" single by the G-Men somewhere! It was sent out as a demo. If I can find it I will see what I can do to get it online somehow.
best rockin band of the 8o`s bye far brings back such good memories any plans for more gigs then clint ?
excellent
Used to work with singer when rhey were just starting out x
great rockabilly song
Steve Whitehouse from Frenzy has been practicing with these guys in the last few weeks, can`t wait to see or hear that.
He doesn't even come close to the sound the bassist had. He sounds way too modern and electric. Dont like it, and him neither.
clint, remember me dave j. i drummed in the tennessee rebels. remember the germany/holland tour we did. keep rockin' mate.
dave
I'm going to see them in Helsinki, Finland tonight...
