Great song by the Tempts. My favorite is My Girl. They had it all…..great harmonies, good looking, great choreography and fantastic songs. Back in the 60s, everyone was doing the Temptation Walk. Thanks for the great reaction. This is why we loved Motown. 👏👏🥰
My FAVORITE Temptations song!! I LOVE The Temptations!! Here's a couple more songs: "You're My Everything", "I Wish It Would Rain", "Ain't Too Proud To Beg", and "Get Ready". The song mentioned, "Oh, What a Night" by The Dells, LIVE 1969 version is one of my favorite songs so I'm putting in that request too. Thanks, Shawn!! ❤🔥❤Temptations!! 🤩
Great song! However most of the photos are incorrect when showcasing this song. They are showing David Ruffin in pictures. Ruffin had left the group and was replaced by Dennis Edwards on this track. Edwards was also a great singer!
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 So many great songs they sang!! You have to react to more of their music. I wish you could see them dance to this song! They were so good at acting out the lyrics !
Love the Temptations music. This is part of the Motown era & they had a lot of hits in the 60's - 80's such as "Ain't Too Proud To Beg", "I Wish It Would Rain", "Just My Imagination", "Get Ready", "Treat Her Like A Lady" etc. They were known for their harmonies, choreography & dress style.
Bravo my friend, you have gone all the way back to 1969. This was from the pens of Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong. How do you like the husky driving voice of Dennis Edward's, the man who replaced David Ruffin ? What about Eddie K stretching the letter "I" in that falsetto tone? Multiple leads LOL. The greatest R&B/soul group ever bar none.Allow me to recommend some other Temptations ballads to you, It's Growing, Since I lost My Baby, I Wish It Would Rain, Dream Come True, Born To Love You, The Girl's Alright With Me, You're My Everything, Please Return Your Love To Me, Don't Look Back, Gonna Give Her All The Love I've Got and Don't Send Me Away. These songs will definitely keep you occupied. You will definitely not be disappointed,I look forward to your reaction ASAP.
You mentioned the Dells. They are also worth a reaction. Based out of Harvey IL - Chicago suburb they are considered Northern Soul. I suggest you try “Wear It On Our Face” or “Oh What A Night”
David Ruffin was probably the better, more all round singer, but as Dennis Edwards shows here - he was the voice of the late 60’s and early 70’s Temptations. Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams, Melvin Franklin and Otis Williams made one up of the greatest vocal groups that have ever recorded music. My suggestion for the next Temptations track is “Superstar (Remember how you got where you are)…another blistering Dennis Edwards led track. It is said that this record is a reference to David Ruffin, but who knows?

Love the temptations. ❤️ One of my favorites - (I Know ) I’m Losing You.
The Temptations are great. They have a huge catalog of songs.

A great Motown soul song. 🎶🎶🎶👍
Growing up this and so so many more each and every day on the radio, juke boxes, public pools etc! LOVE IT!
There's a great video from The Ed Sullivan Show what's the Temptations singing this
I been fortunate to know Otis and Dennis and many other Motown musicians as well.

Ball of Confusion ---- the bomb
Savoy Brown also does an excellent cover of this song.
A few more temptation songs you might like to react to are:
Cloud nine
Runaway child
The way you do the things you do
Check out "Flashlight" by Parliament. It's fun and funk for days.

👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
They were referred to as the Temping Temptations
Savoy Brown blues band does a cover of this that's pretty good not that there is anything wrong with this
All the boy bands of the 90s, and since, are just pale imitations of Motown, and the Temptations in particular.
