    Lorenzo explained the characteristics of Iling and McKennie very well, I think it's an agreement that will make everyone happy, both you who needed money and two very good players and both us who need a strong midfielder. I feel very sorry for Iling who I believe can become a great player while Mckennie already has great experience. greetings from Italy

      Thank you for the informed comment. Really appreciate that. Juventus are getting a brilliant player in Douglas Luiz. I'm certain he'll be a star in Serie A.

    Aston Villa are on the brink of selling Douglas Luiz to Juventus, with Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior going in the opposite direction. What do you think? #avfc #utv #astonvilla #juventus

    We needed the sale for PSR reasons, not because he necessarily wanted to go. McKennie had a good season at Juve, and Illing has a very high ceiling. It's not ideal, but this is where we are. We'll fulfill the PSR requirements and now we can spend in the summer window. We'll sign more players in the window. Barkley, Illing, McKennie and hopefully 3 or 4 more and we'll have had a great window. McKennie is not going to be a regular starter, same as Barkley, but useful. We've got Unai- he works miracles with players- see Bailey, Rogers, Tielemans. In Unai I trust!

      Sad to see Dougie go.But this part and parcel of building a team I remember Ron Saunders used to sell players at the top of their game and replace with others who became even better.Like selling Chris Nicholl and signing Ken Mcnaught.We great owners and a wonderful manager so we need to trust them UTV

    Im juve fan, mckennie had a very good season with 10 assists and Iling is very young and has much potential , he's only 20....i like Douglas Luiz , can't wait to see him with juve shirt 😍

    I cant get my head around us letting dougie go, i no we need to make some sales because of psr but we have other players who can be sold to resolve the issue, weve just got champions league we need to be keeping hold of our best players and dougie is 1 of are best,

    • @allvillanofiller
      @allvillanofiller  5 месяцев назад +1

      I think it might also be related to his contract, if I had to guess. I think it might just be two more seasons, so his peak price is now. I'd rather not see him go, too. But I do understand it in the PSR climate, as frustrating as it is. UTV!

      @muzza18ben 5 месяцев назад

      @allvillanofiller I thought he signed a contract extension in the last 12 months? Maybe I'm mistaken but still think we're making a big mistake letting him go, I suppose this is where we see the masterminds of monchi and unai work there magic. Utv

    It's really disappointing don't get why he would want to leave Villa , and didn't we try to get McKennie before and he turned us down for Leeds?

    • @allvillanofiller
      @allvillanofiller  5 месяцев назад

      I can't recall if McKennie turned Villa down. But he may have done so given the U.S. coach Jesse Marsch was at Leeds at the time?

      It's a tough one, isn't it. I'd much rather Douglas stayed, but I do understand it in a PSR context. McKennie is very versatile, so that is a help going forward. He also adds physicality we lack at times. Let's see what moves are made in the summer. UTV!

      I get the PSR thing Frankie, just can't see how we sell someone with 19 goal contributions for 20 mil and a couple of players that Juve want to get rid off, especially McKennie who turned us down couple of years ago to go to Leeds. But again Unai and Monchie know a lot more than I do, surely.
