@OfficialGMayhem Yeah man, assuming you're working with Ableton Live. Just go to your synth channel, and click the drop down box on the side so you can see all the other automation lines. While it is dropped down, open up massive, and fiddle around with the knob that you want to automate. Now if you look back at the dropped down synth channel, you should be able to see that its automating the knob you chose. Now you can do whatever you like with it haha :)

@DJMoonX3 well most producers these days don't use vst's for their drums, they use samples.. so just type in 'free house samples' into google and you're bound to find some

Derp, I made a mistake there. What I wanted to say is that youtubers should say "what you should do", or "what you have to do". To me, the viewer wants the *result*, and not the process/actions needed in order to obtain the result.

nice try, but unfortunately, he doesnt use massive at all. he uses a nord to get his signature pluck sound.
One thing I always wondered about... Why do people in tutorials say "One thing you want to do"? The sentence works better - to my non-native-speaker ears - without the "want to". It's... Pointless to me. :S
