My truck is currently throwing an evap vent valve code. I changed the valve but not the canister. Looks like I'll be going back under there. Thanks for the video.
Facing the same problem with my Ford edge, not even high mileage either. Takes 10 mins to start after filling up..Makes car fart noises when driving..Now I can't hardly put any gas in it lol
@@rndlife i fixed The issue as well, it turns out I had a bad fuel pump since I had gotten it from a cheap auto parts store… but i heard that this is a pretty common issue
@@kevinfrancisco3821 Yeah apparently the aftermarket sending units are built alright, but there are small details like the spring pressure on this one or other small things that they sometimes get wrong. Buying OEM is usually recommended, but if you like to tinker a bit, and you have the time things like this will def help us understand the systems that make the vehicles run, and how they work. lol

Hey try the purge valve it’s located in the engine bay but is connected to the evap canister
Ill check into that but here soon i dont think we will be needing that... stay tuned for a REAL curve ball on this truck!!

I thought that was the issue initially, buuuttttt..... I was wrong!! check out part 2 to see exactly what was causing the issue!
