When fully healthy, the Rams offense can match up with anyone. The defense is puzzling, though. I'm not sure why they continue to trot out the same LB's with the same results. Shulas nickel package against the run was a head scratcher as well.

Right there with ya... I criticized not getting an OT with first pick, not getting the mammoth NT from Texas (T'vondre Sweat), signing Jackson and not drafting a guard... then criticized the Avila shift to center, then when Avila went back to guard-led to injury imho, preseason criticism than oline would not be cohesive going into season, etc... I have also stated Omar by game 5 to be starter, but not my call on personnel moves, but what I'd like to see.

Toughest game to digest on the McVay era. Front 7 can't stop a nose bleed but they're young and personally think they'll just take time to gel. Offense seems predictable. Need to run the ball more and be more creative on offense. Getting Alaric Jackson back this week should be huge.
Maybe McVay is rethinking not having Tyler Davis on game day. Could have put in double NT's with DT's (base 4-3), ran their 2 edges, kept a single ILB, or kept 2 ILB's (slot responsibility) minus 1 db for a total 3 (single high safety) 6-2-3 or 6-1-4

If Rams can't effectively defend in any game simply because the gameday 53 does not allow for a switch to a base 4-3 from 3-4, then that is on coaches.
We also lost leadership from Earnest Jones and should have kept him. Kupp and Puca being hurt gives us no chance to score 20 points. The rush defense can't stop the run. WOW.

Way too early to panic. Injuries suck but time for men to step up. McVay will rally the troops. Jordan Whittington has an opportunity to become a big part of the offense. Oline has help coming. Still 15 weeks to make this right.
That sucked. It was hard to watch. But, I think our young defense will be ok. Kyler is an anomaly. No other QB like him. More worrisome is losing Kupp. Now we lost both our top receivers. They don't seem to have a defensive direction. If you can't stop the run it will be a long year , without an Offense where 4 started are down. But the Defense needs direction starting with the top. You know your offensive line sucks when you give up three sacks to a guy name, Gardeck… Who the hell is he? Defense can’t stop the run, can’t play pass coverage, offense no running game whatsoever. UnFortunately, I predicted this loss as the Cardinals were well overdue after losing nine straight at home to the Rams . Just don’t see them turning this season around with the constant injuries piling up with prevent any type of cohesiveness, both offensively and defensively. But on the bright side, there is still 15 games so you never know !
Awful game. I agree and think this is the 2022 season all over again. Defense is young and needs to lean on the offense, but we can't run the ball with our O-Line right now. Plus Puka and Kupp looking like they'll be out for a while, with the chance to go down 0-3 with 2 divisional losses. I believe in McVay, and I know that on any given sunday the Rams can win. But if they can't turn the ship around by October the team should look into trades on the margins for next year. Tutu to the Chiefs?
Honestly, we can right the ship if the line shores up because Mclendon got his booty cheeks beat. Trade that 1st and noteboom for a real LT and we will be back in business I fully still believe the Rams are still that team just in an early rut
Rams did not play their linebackers like jones, no blitzing...plus, out of position too often just after ball snapped, neither have redirection quickness, both, at times, never hit gaps on blitzes because they were a 2nd defender on a Card who was double-defended, just really bad play recognition by linebackers...
I think the Rams wasted a good return in the beginning of the game by Corum. Then some piss poor play calling by Mcvay and it was all down hill after that. Give the Cardinals credit they came to play unlike the Rams.
Going to write this, "Personally, so sick and tired of Snead's Free Agency decisions as it relates to signing players with either an injury history, 1 and done agenda or the me, me, me attitude (Von Miller - who btw, sucked ftmp on Rams).

I hear you, bro I’m just playing with you .
Hopefully this week better results!
You know your offensive line sucks when you give up three sacks to a guy name, Gardeck…
Who the hell is he?
Bobby brown is NOT the guy
@SoDak-Rams No, he's lazy and slow af
Bro they should have never traded out star middle linebacker for used bubble gum
Agree, I wanted a RT and the guy from Texas (Sweat), but nope...McVay went FSU and FSU! Build center of defense, then edges.
Honestly, we can right the ship if the line shores up because Mclendon got his booty cheeks beat. Trade that 1st and noteboom for a real LT and we will be back in business I fully still believe the Rams are still that team just in an early rut
Suit up fellas.. you are going to get signed to the active roster next week 😂 great content Go Rams!
2022 vibes unfortunately.
It’s all on the coaching. How in the hell can a team just call an HB Dive all game and average six yards a carry? 🤨😂😂😂
I think defense was fatigued from Detroit game.. I hope they bounce back and put up a great game against 49ers
Rams did not play their linebackers like jones, no blitzing...plus, out of position too often just after ball snapped, neither have redirection quickness, both, at times, never hit gaps on blitzes because they were a 2nd defender on a Card who was double-defended, just really bad play recognition by linebackers...
Mock season arrives if the rams lose next week.
sick of having trash linebackers
Omar Speights next week? 🤞
Omar by game 5 is a starter!
@@ramsbrothersI called Omar by game 5 BEFORE SEASON STARTED...🤷♂️
Rams a joke
They definitely looked like a joke today
We just played like plain white bread. Boring, tasteless and just bleh
0 and 2 teams have an 11% chance of making the playoffs. It's over.
But you’re sayin’ there’s a chance…
I think the Rams wasted a good return in the beginning of the game by Corum. Then some piss poor play calling by Mcvay and it was all down hill after that. Give the Cardinals credit they came to play unlike the Rams.
LOL!!!! The rams suck!!!!
Going to write this, "Personally, so sick and tired of Snead's Free Agency decisions as it relates to signing players with either an injury history, 1 and done agenda or the me, me, me attitude (Von Miller - who btw, sucked ftmp on Rams).
Tiny quarterback😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks guys for the pep talk! We'll get back on track 👍 keep up the good work 😎
That is crazy speech, but hope is all we got now!
How about tackling drills. Rams are horrible at tackling. Wrap them up. ..
Today it was clear how many holes we have on both sides of the ball. I have faith McVay finds a way to plug most of them, but not all of them.
Nope, McVay is outta options and MONEY CAP SPACE... long season, 5-12 or worse.
LT is a huge problem. Poor tackling again has killed us and injuries have been brutal. We have been extremely stagnant & predictable on offense. A lot needs to change but I feel positive we can turn it around.
