you no longer need the grounding plug for the delta pro 3 when Tesla charging. you can now turn the feature on in the ecoflow app

It’s hard to beat the delta pro
Gen 1 at current sales prices ($2199). You can’t really diy it with matching specs.
The noise is not that bad actually. It’s not like you charge it at full capacity or run high inverter loads non stop.
I know the 240v from the new model is tempting. Personally I have not used 240v in 30 years. It’s important to have the feature in the lineup, but it’s not a buying decision for me.
The higher solar input is nice. 1600 watt is plenty for me though.

Thanks for the feedback and I agree at $2,199 that is a smoking deal for the DP 👍

Once the net metering is gone then people using that will have to utilize batteries to store the solar energy, and that may require a total redesign of their system which may be costly.

Yeah, for us in Illinois since our rate is so low in my area $0.08 the ROI numbers are not going to look good without Net Metering.

Unfortunately, the Ecoflow 3 I just purchased could only produce 2.3 KWH in a 24hr test of my upright freezer and would be drained to 5%. Performed test twice with pretty much the same results. I did not have it connected to grid or solar. Was hoping for more run time.

I'd really love to see someone that has 2 Delta Pro's with the dual voltage hub, and if it can run a central air conditioner for any length of time. I guess the same thing goes if anybody has done this with an Ultra. I mean.. with sales you can now get 2 Delta Pro's with the hub for under $4500.

I have 2 Delta Pros with a dual voltage hub and it's never been able to start my central AC unit. My unit is a 4 ton so the initial draw is too much. My Delta Pro Ultras are able to start my AC unit.

I have 2 Delta Pros with the hub. My 4 ton central A/C pulls about 12 Amps. So 12X220=2640 Watts. Figure 7200 Watt Hrs for both units. A whopping 2.7 hrs. Need to add some solar panels to help out.

Why would a state ban net metering? It benefits everyone. Lord knows the local utilities can't keep up with the demand when it hits 90+ degrees.

Hello! I am very new to solar, and don't know where to get started. I want a simple system to run my swamp cooler, also called an evaporator cooler 24/7.
It uses 300 Watts, but at some point I might upgrade it for a 450 Watt version. So I want a setup to run 450 Watts, 24/7.
How would I do that? What kind of solar panels do I need? Can it be any brand? Do I just double what I need? So 900 Watts of panels would run it? Or do I need a big buffer? Is it easy to set something up like this?
Do I need an eco flow or delta setup to run my cooler 24/7? What size would I need to run my cooler overnight?
Sorry for all the questions, I don't know what to do. But my cooler is costing me $140 per month at $0.65/KWh, and my total bill regularly goes over $500. So just getting the cooler on a panel setup would greatly help. Thanks!

Bonjour, thank you for the video. I live in Canada and solar energy is not viable for me. Would need to link the battery to an external combustion generator outside of my house. Question: would need a long cable (20 feet) to link the Delta pro situated in my basement close to the electric panel) to a generator outside (would need to open a window for this). Does such a cable exists? Merci à l'avance pour ta réponse.

im trying to decide between delta pro 3 & a refurbished pro. it's a $1000 difference. I live in a smallish 1 bed rental townhouse but want a set up to run a portable AC to save money on my bill since AC is what costs the most. Its 122 degrees here in Las Vegas. Mainly I want a back up plan for when the power goes out. Should I save $1K and get the older pro version? is the $1000 worth it for the pro 3 for my situation?

Do these high watt inverters suck up a lot of watts by themselves just for being in the on position. I heard the higher the wattage the higher the drain? Or is ecoflow different.

    • @Esteve212
      @Esteve212 2 месяца назад

they are fairly effiecient but no matter what thats the cost of bigger inverter it just simply takes more power to keep a bigger inverter on
