Amy... I have literally grown up with this lovely song, from the first time I heard it in the movie "Pinocchio" in the early 1950s when I was a little boy. Over the decades I have heard many versions of it, vocal and instrumental. For vocal versions, I would have to give Linda Ronstadt and Jackie Evancho, who sang it so beautifully at age eleven, top honors. But for instrumental performances, yours is absolutely the most beautiful I have ever heard. It is as if the song were written exclusively for the concert harp, and I can feel your whole heart and soul in this performance. And you have played it as Leigh originally wrote it, with no added embellishments. Perfect. Good thing it is here on RUclips and on CD, because by now I would have worn out a vinyl playing your beautiful solos. Plus, watching you play this lovely instrument is a wonderful part of the experience. Pure elegance. Thank you so very much for the joy and beauty you have brought to all of us. 🌴💖
