This song will always remind me for watching Disney VHS tapes as a kid, and the excitement of watching the 90s Disney ident at the start of every movie. I've been playing this song for quite a few years for gigs now too, and it's always fun to try and bring some extra magic to special occasions... it's impossible not to feel a little magical with those rich harmonies!

Wow this always hits me. Just remembering being a child, watching all my favorite Disney movies and listening to this song before every movie started, it takes me back to when life was so simplistic and free.

Amy... I have literally grown up with this lovely song, from the first time I heard it in the movie "Pinocchio" in the early 1950s when I was a little boy. Over the decades I have heard many versions of it, vocal and instrumental. For vocal versions, I would have to give Linda Ronstadt and Jackie Evancho, who sang it so beautifully at age eleven, top honors.
But for instrumental performances, yours is absolutely the most beautiful I have ever heard. It is as if the song were written exclusively for the concert harp, and I can feel your whole heart and soul in this performance. And you have played it as Leigh originally wrote it, with no added embellishments. Perfect. Good thing it is here on RUclips and on CD, because by now I would have worn out a vinyl playing your beautiful solos. Plus, watching you play this lovely instrument is a wonderful part of the experience. Pure elegance. Thank you so very much for the joy and beauty you have brought to all of us. 🌴💖

One can only guess. Jealous colleague who doesn't like the style perhaps? Or a frenemy? ...or maybe someone who thinks that achieving her level of artistry isn't that hard..
