    Amazing build! Thanks for your channel, it’s great watching you add new items to your rig. Keep up the great work, greetings from Southern California, this is Alan.

      @@BrandonHua.Fishing I'm switching my 2023 Hobie Pro Angler 14 for a 2024 Hobie Pro Angler 14 (ummmm, yeah) and will have my son-in-law rig it for me (I'll "help" by watching) so very interested in your future rigging vids! Only a couple more months until spring!

    That's just great. Now I just ordered another 1600 bucks worth of eqpt for my new kayak. My wife does not like you. Awesome video. One of the best kayak builds I have seen.

    I bought 2 of those wire looms you recommended 2 days ago when I watched the video as I’m doing the same thing you are. They don’t send you a receipt electronically for your payment and they don’t answer the phones. Might want to tread lightly with them on recommendations.

      Hey there! I assure you they are legit. Dakota Lithium also carries/recommends their products (it's even on their website). It's trade show season so I'd imagine there is some slow responses from the company. They aren't huge by any means but make quality products. I know NuCanoe also recommends them as well.

    Hey great video, how about a link to the stick on lights?

    I too have a Hobie PA 14 and hope that you might make some recommendations. I have a Garmin 93sv mount on the front right on my hrail and just got Garmins steadycast (heading sensor)Where would you mount the heading sensor ( I think that it needs to be on that plastic piece on the gunnel in front of the hrail.) I also wonder where the logical place to put the Nema wiring as this is needed for the Garmin steady cast. Your expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

      Heading sensor is usually best mounted closer to the front. You can see in this video where I mounted mine. Definitely you will want to get extensions for the network and route it in the kayak and having the wiring come out of your Through Hull.

    Where did you get the covers for front rod holder that you took out? Can you send me the link? I like that. By the way great build.

    You've got all these electronics on the kayak... I went to your channel and couldn't find any videos of you actually using it.
    Or explaining the uses.
    Are we just flexing?
    I have 15+/- kayaks at any given time and you have more accessories on one kayak than all of mine combined

      Rest assured everything is being used but just not making the cut in every video. Plenty of other interesting clips rather than pressing buttons on the graphs or scanning around. Unlike you, I have one kayak so I get to put my funds into the single one.

    How long does that 25ah last on your active target? I'm torn between that and like a 30-32ah.

    • @BrandonHua.Fishing
      @BrandonHua.Fishing  5 месяцев назад +1

      Active Target 2 pulls max 1.5 amps per hour, so it should last a little over 16 hours on a full charge!

    Just curious, why Anderson rather than SAE plugs?

    • @BrandonHua.Fishing
      @BrandonHua.Fishing  5 месяцев назад

      I’ve ran SAE on all of my Yak Power connections and have had some not get great connection. They’re a little more difficult to disconnect as well. With the Anderson, I can run bigger wire too!

    So two screens one for maps and other for active target?

    • @BrandonHua.Fishing
      @BrandonHua.Fishing  День назад

      The one at the side is usually a split screen between mapping, 2D, Downscan, and sidescan. My front graph is active Target or an additional mapping unit. I run Navionics in my side graph and C-Map in the front.
