- BORUTO VS KAWAKI? || WHERE IS NARUTO?! || Boruto REACTION: Episode 1. Today we start the first episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations! The VERY first scene we see of this new series is the entire Hokage monument DESTROYED. All Seven Hokage faces are destroyed. Then we are introduced to a teenage Boruto with some mark on his arm and face with a NEW dojutsu! They talk about a couple of things, including where he SENT Naruto?! Then they start fighting it out again. Then introduces a TON of questions about what is going to happen in the future, who are these new people, where is Naruto, and where is Sasuke?!
After that SICK opening scene, we are introduced to kid Boruto and he seems like pretty chill kid at first glance. He really likes people his age and even goes out his way to help out, just like Naruto did. Of course, his dad being the Hokage, Boruto holds some resentment for him, which we discuss too :)
Overall, I'm excited for Boruto, we things are gonna get INSANE.

After watching the first scene in Boruto, it really makes you think how this story’s gotta be the opposite of Naruto’s. Naruto started with nothing and worked hard to have everything which we all love about him. Boruto is starting with everything and probably loses it all. It makes me excited to know Boruto doesn’t stay the same and will become this badass.

boruto is one of the most popular anime in japan right now and the manga is actually really good compared to the anime. the reason why it gets so much hate is because of fillers and because they dulled down naruto and sasuke's characters and made them seem weak when everybody knows they are far from it and its stupid that they made them seem like that. but like I said once the manga gets adapted it'll get better

Sasuke accepted his defeat cuz he could no longer fight is right but mostly he accepted defeat because Naruto made him realize and all this time he was in the wrong and could no longer see Naruto as his enemy .

Feels like someone should inform him of what he's getting into. This IS a way for you to see old characters from part 1 of Naruto and Shippuden, this more focused on the new characters. That said, some of the characters you expect to be OP are kinda downplayed. It's not ALL action, there WILL be filler. Plots that seemingly won't have anything to do with the main story or even main characters but still be important for fleshing out side characters and worldbuilding. Keep all of this in mind.

Actually, he is 7 years at the beginning.
It's just that they dont age during the time they're at the academy.
From start to end of the academy, 5 years have passed. They just dont mention this in the series for some reason ^^

Boruto is good because it's not a typical shonen and bc it has the slice of life. The downfall of borutos character will look so much better with it in contrast and you will really feel that the peaceful times are over when the time comes.

because boruto has waaaay to much fillers. I mean, the manga is really, really good.
They don't understand the new story and concept that it is in a time of peace , which is why you get a lot of ignorant people calling the anime filler when it's canon.
It mostly consists of filler and that's why its boring, I would rather have canon material and not consistently skipping episodes that don't relate to the canon story.

They try to avoid violence... In a fighting shonen. Hozuki castle arc. Mitsuki attacks the cave instead of killing the dog with his jutsu. The hole crew dont uses jutsus to attack until the enemie creates clones of themselves. That hurts so much watching.
Also what they did to naruto sasuke. F.e. sasuke in the anniversary back in time arc. Sasukes weaker than naruto in the beginning of naruto lol. If you want to not get an op character involved think of a better reason for nerfing him or plotting him out.
