After washing any meat keep it in a big strainer or a colander for all the water to drain out.

Goan recipes enhance flavour of the meat or vegetables used. At my home mom cooked using malvani method but my husband is goan so i follow goan recipes or sometimes blend malvani with goan😅

You can get coconut milk in virtually any supermarket in Brtian from Aldi to Waitrose, I always keep a few cans in my cupboard.

Traditionally , potatoes are not added to the gravy, but the reason to add potatoes was to increase the volume of the gravy to feed more people.
