Thank you for sharing this, Carl. I recently took your CAPS course, plus I’m beginning to implement GAPRA and TSS into my own productivity. This video is so helpful to remind us to stay flexible and adapt your techniques as needed. Thanks!
Absolutely, Melissa. Be flexible; life is never a straight line, so there is no need to beat yourself up if you cannot accomplish everything you want to do.
Your message is on the money (as usual). The key for me is to set time aside to reflect on how I use my task manager and journal to see if it’s working for me. For example, I found the Time Sector System didn’t work for me while I was working. I needed to divide tasks up according to the projects I was working on. Now I’ve retired I find the Time Sector System is a great fit as all I need to know is when I intend to / must do a task. I really don’t need to stick tasks into categories like ‘gardening’ or ‘shopping’ or ‘health and medication’. As for journaling, I like to write a short Stand Up entry at breakfast time then a longer Journal entry before I go to bed so I reflect on the day. That works for me … for now, that is, until I find something that better meets my needs.
Thank you. It's gearing up. Ready for the big miles in the summer. (Still don't know if the marathon will be run this year, though. Some COVID restrictions are still in place here.
@@Carl_Pullein yes, COVID challenges. Partly due to you I've been inspired to run a half-marathon this September. I've noticed 'training' improves my focus for everything else. Stay well and keep up the great content.

That sounds like a great way to manage you time.
Thanks Carl, sound advice.
You're very welcome.
😳 Another illusion shattered!
Hahaha my apologies ;-)
Always a solid listen :) How's the marathon training going?
