The Legend is definitely one of the movies ever. The script was written, the actors acted, the scenes were shot and the music was composed. My favourite part of the movie was when Saravanan says "IT'S LEGENDIN' TIME!!!" and then he LEGENDS all the bad guys. This was definitely a movie that released in theatres.

If you guys missed theatre experience for movies like minnal murali,sardar udam and sarapatta last year, the best thing to do to make up for it is to watch legend. It's worth it.

Hey. I haven’t heard of Saravana Stores before. Although the quality of the fashion chain’s clothes are pretty decent, its actual founding is still a different story from what The Legend is about.
He is a brilliant businessman 😌. Before this movie, nobody knows about him and his business except people in Tamilnadu, and now everyone are talking about him. if he made good movie people will only appreciate him and forget about it 😏 due to this movie he got more recognition and promotion for his business 🤷🏿.

Jammy, Actor Vivek passed away before completing the dubbing process. To honour his memories and out of sheer respect to the legendary actor of Tamil cinema, they decided to go with the live recorded audio for him alone. It’s sentimental here to hear his voice one last time. The man is a real legend. That’s why the audio was off.
I respect the notion of preserving one's voice but Wouldn't just a better dubbing be a dedication to the man. Its quality is so off from the sync and sound that it almost seems bad to be associated with that quality.

It hurt me when I saw the trailer and realised that this is the last movie of Vivek sir. The reason they left the voice like that is because, that would be the last of his recorded voice for a movie. We miss him.
Legend sarvanan is so legendary that after watching his movie rajnikanth started studying physics, Kamal Hassan announced retirement from movies and directors have sold their homes and properties.
They couldn't bear the immense talent this man has.

My favourite scene was when the Legend himself said,"It’s Sarvanin Time" and started Sarvaning all the bad guys. The theatre absolutely lost it. Definitely one of the movies ever made.

A reviewer on youtube Chris Stuckmann has a separate playlist called "Hillariocity" (which he discontinued these days) about movies that are so bad, they are so goddamn good. This movie belongs there
Saravana stores is literally one of the most affordable all-in-all shopping centers in the country where you can get anything apart from medicines and automobiles. Basically anything a common man would need. And he does a great job at growing his Father's legacy.
However... Keeping all that aside. This movie was made as a troll. For the Legend. By the Legend. Of the Legend. When the people he caters to themselves are finding it hard to fathom the depths of his soulful eyes and sheer awesomeness.. why do you even bother trying ?

That part was just abysmal.
He should stick to flying in the air (vfx) and delivering funny dialogues, crying or acting isn't his forte. I liked the movie a little despite several illogical scenes.
This movie was literally the most fun I had in a theatre this year, with NWH and Vikram coming in at a close second. Literally every other frame is laugh worthy and memeable lmao.
The amount of legit actors and technicians that this dude got to work for and respect him just because he's loaded af is amazing lol, he paid his way to sit between Kamal Hassan and Rajnikanth at award shows (which were sponsored by his company, no less) and has been known for somehow getting tons of actresses to dance alongside him in ads for his stores.
This movie is glorious for everyone, even moreso if you're from TN, have been to his stores and know of the legendary Legend

Vivek sir is not only a legendary actor. He still lives in our heart through his social works. Only gentleman in d indian cinema history who used his every film opportunity to change n objectfy a mistake in d society . Hearing his voice dubbed by someone is not even imaginable.

This film saved my marriage. I'm not even married, but my future self said that he created a time machine after watching this science fiction masterpiece and specifically came back to insist me to watch this film because I would find the love of my life here.
I went to the theatre only to find it empty, but then I saw a girl.
My love story will continue only after Legend Saravanana releases Legend part 2,3,4 and 5, post which I will be able to plan my kids as well.

Well something good came out of the movie afterall: HJ songs. The composer has been M.I.A for years, and he came back with bangers. They should have made a famous choreographer appear for Mosalo Mosalu IMO. It is such an upbeat dance song that deserves great dance.

I agree with you, I had a senior colleague at work who lived well but never had an investment, unfortunately his job ended so he went from living well to surviving with his family.
There's a tamil movie called Angadi theru (Angadi Street) that shows the pathetic work conditions of people working in big retail shops like saravana stores. They never say directly but lots of incidents covered in the movie are rumoured or true stories that happened in Saravana stores. When you have that knowledge, looking at how this man chooses to expend his wealth him and his family so corruptly and mercilessly accumulated is downright disgusting.
Can we take a moment to Thank Jammy for watching movies like legend and other regressive stuff that our film industry produces so that we don't have to.. imagine watching and re-watching for content creation. A true cinema lover who had seen both ends of the spectrum

Vivek sir's voice sounds like that because the makers have used his original pilot track from the shoot. They didn't want another artist to dub for him and kept his original voice to pay respect to his legacy, because unfortunately this was his last film.

This movie is an actual spoof which even most spoofs in Hollywood can't reach upto because the very nature of a spoof film prevents producers from spending even a 10th of the budget required for a feature film. So, it looks cheap.
This one is literally a spoof made in all common sense proof self seriousness with the budget of a mass entertainer and because of this, it is extremely accurate in pointing out and literally prying apart every single facet our producers make mistakes in their movies and you know this because the Legend just dives into those cliches. Not a normal dive. A legendary dive with 5 layers of clothing, 15 layers of make-up and a Lamborghini straight out of a plane in a Halo jump into the Marianas trench of Christ era clichés.

The Legend did not only surpass Sura as the best work in the medium or Annaatthe as the best movie ever produced by Tamil Cinema. It is beyond the realms of literature, movies, and the arts, as well as beyond the grasp of the average person. Because this website is dreadful and idiotic, I simply gave it a 5/5. Humanity was created by The Legend. You literally get up from your seat as soon as the Saravana Stores logo appears on the screen due of gravitation. Annachi then, oh my goodness. Annachi, how I love thee. I was really sorry for him. He had been too little for so long. But as soon as he appeared on the screen, I snorted and wet my pants. Everyone simultaneously exclaimed, "WOW, he is LITERALLY me," as soon as he came, glanced at the screen, and stated, "I'm acting." Annachi contributes so much to this film that at the conclusion, he is still known as Annachi. In fact, as soon as I left the cinema, I joined his religion, and started planning a trip to the island where his cult is located and where Annachi, who leads it, frequently goes about dressed as Murugan.
I saw the video title and started laughing. Why would one do this to themselves? I dabble in similar forms of masochism, but this one is a lot to take on. Glad you made it out of the theatre with a sound mind after watching the whole movie.

Vivek is a true veteran in all rights, not just a sidekick. He passed away before finishing the dubbing of this film.
The makers have retained the dialogues he mouthed during the shoot in the film - that's why the quality is not good. This happened mainly because they were unable to find the right dubbing artist for him.

Viveks voice sounds like that because he died before dubbing so they cleaned up the shooting audio and used it for his character. Sadly this is his last movie role.
But one thing is sure he made his "Sarvana store" name a pan India thing and believe it or not soon he might be opening a his franchise chain in some parts of India as he done his pan publicity.
