  • Two of these three balls have been staples for their respective brands for a while and time will tell how the Scorpion will hold up. But so far so good in my opinion. The World will determine if will stick around.

    I think the Venom line just works really well for you. The Black Venom was putting in work when you reviewed that one.

    Gotta be honest, here….. the Venom Shock is the GOAT. That ball is so so useable and versatile. Not to mention, the cover lasts forever. It’s the best of these and frankly, any lower diff symmetric piece. Now, asym? There’s some debate to be had.

    Pretty insane how the Venom Shock still gaps the other 2 balls despite being 9 year old coverstock tech....

    The OG Scorpion was HIGHLY underrated. The Low Flare doesnt really look that much different honestly. Same cover but little different core numbers. But overall I really like the motion.

    The placement and contrast of the logo/other markings/colored tips on the Venom makes the ball look so chaotic as it rolls. Fun to watch

    All three balls have their place, but the Venom Shock looks to be the most versatile. That piece looks good for Charles from almost anywhere. Definitely on the Mt. Rushmore of all-time greats.

      I recommend the venom shock I have one and it is really good but if you want one that hooks less than get the iq tour also a super good ball but for me venom shock just looks and feels better

      @mastaxninja4124 as much as I hate to say it the venom shock is my least considered of the 3. I'd rather get the black venom but motiv just ain't my brand tbh

    Just curious since the IQ and the Shock are both 4k grit and the Scorpion is 2k grit, you think brining the Scorpion up closes the gap at all in these balls? Also from a sport shot perspective do you like one more than the others for variety of sport shot conditions?

    • @TheHype-Bowling
      @TheHype-Bowling  7 месяцев назад +1

      All have their place the Scorpion is a bigger ball in my opinion, than the Shock and the iq tour under. The fastest off the spot I the Shock. Depending on the pattern for short I’m going IQ , medium I’m going Shock and for long I’m going scorpion. I feel like they shine in this spots!

      @@TheHype-Bowling I appreciate that response! With balls coming out at a furious pace it seems, and the want to try everything, still have to make those hard choices of your tried and true staples you need to keep around to cover gaps for you and bring home that $ to keep buying new balls to try out! LOL
      Keep up the great work!

      @Stylez777 having all the bowling balls in the world doesn’t not guarantee scores. Most of the time for me it makes it extremely hard to make decisions.

    I'm at a cross roads between the Tour Dyman-X and the Venom Shock. I have seen enough Venom Shocks to know that ball motion will fit my style, but I think the Tour Dynam-X would fit the slot better for what I'm looking for when the lanes get squirrelly.

    • @TheHype-Bowling
      @TheHype-Bowling  9 месяцев назад

      I agree, you need to blend the lanes your dynam x. Venom - front are gone. Split the difference and get both 😂

    Howdy. I've watched every new ball review available.. the last 6 to 8 months, few balls 1+ old.
    Any reason not to have vemon shock over the 100+ balls that have been released recently?

    • @TheHype-Bowling
      @TheHype-Bowling  2 месяца назад +1

      The venom Shock is still a unique piece in my opinion. It’s cleaner than most and has more continuation than most lower end balls that are available.

  • @fredhampton1786

    Im not sure if I just heard you correctly but you just said, that the scorpion would be good for higher volume but if you're in a higher friction center you would lean toward the scorpion... What??? I guess the scorpion is good for all lane conditions according to your closing statements????

    • @TheHype-Bowling
      @TheHype-Bowling  9 месяцев назад +4

      Dryer lanes the IQ will look the best. Higher volumes will lean scorpion because it has more overall hook of these 3 options.
      The Scorpion is a master of known but will be effective in multiple environments.

    • @akt8384
      @akt8384 9 месяцев назад +2

      i think it is not meant for higher volume, advertised as 'medium oil'

    • @edcnoyb3782
      @edcnoyb3782 2 месяца назад

      @@TheHype-Bowling Did you me the scorpion low flare is the master of none? If so I agree with you. For a lot of bowlers it can be effective on multiple lane conditions and patterns.
      Especially the sport patterns in my opinion. You are right though not exactly the perfect fit on any one pattern.
      True though the X factor will always be the the person throwing the ball. If one of my bowling balls , and a snail had a race. The snail might win. So I can make the scorpion low flare work on almost any condition. Except for the bone dry desert lane conditions.
