Tom Harrell and John McNeil- Melody and solo transcription on Chasin' The Bird

Hello All!
For transcription number 26# I’m posting this wonderful version of the Parker classic “Chasin The Bird” This comes from the 1979 John McNeil and Tom Harrell album “Look To The Sky”. I thought this would be an easy job for once, as I had earlier done the Harrell solo…My original thought was to dust it off and post just that… But of course after really listening to John’s solo, I decided I HAD to include that also… And then I thought it would be good to also transcribe their trading as well… Then of course I had to include the melody… So… 12 pages and very tired ears later, here we are. Was worth the struggle though. Some stellar soloing from both these guys! Definitely learned a lot and hope you enjoy and find them useful.
