Man i have been activated office 2021 with your 2021/365 crack, but in settings it said that is office 2019? How to fix that? The 2021/365 crack you uploaded is converted office 2021 to 2019.
@@martaa_011 Whatever it shows it's still Office 2021 which has permanent activation and you will receive all official updates.
If you want to deactivate your office, then run the command prompt as administrator, then run this command: if exist "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" cd /d "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16"
Once done, run this command: cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:6MWKP

So annoying. Everything about Microsoft is like that, they always feel like they want to force you to do things, consume resources, access your data, etc. I wouldn't bother much if they do it smartly without impacting my physical storage and computer resources in a significant way, but they always manage to annoy you. A consistent feeling about their apps is that they feel heavy and overloaded with features upon features with failed performance.. like Microsoft edge and Bing mobile app. I only use edge for PDFs, but for browsing? hell no, their default new tab spammy news structure is enough for me to close the app.
I had purchased Pro version of office 2021 but wanted to use only Word, Excel & Powerpoint this video does work! thanks man!

I couldn't find the configuration file either, so I just opened up notepad and type everything exactly the same as the config file in the video, and then saved it as .xml file. Sort of a pain, but I was more worried I would mess up the punctuation, but it worked perfectly!! But otherwise, great tutorial! Thanks for posting this!!! It worked on the latest build of the Microsoft365 Offline Installer as of 10/2/2023

Just a note for anyone trying this on a different version of the office package (in my case - O365HomePremRetail) - I had to remove Visio, Project, Groove and Lync from the Exclusions as they're not apps installed in my version.
After doing so this method worked perfectly.
I'm trying to install the same version, and tried removing those lines like you did, but couldn't get it to work. Did you change anything else?

Could not get this to work. I keep getting an error that a file is missing when trying to run the install. I'm attempting to install the "O365HomePremRetail" edition on a PC running Windows 10. (I've already tried changing the Product ID line in the config file to "" and deleted the lines for apps that aren't included in the product package. No dice.) I've attempted to locate and download that ISO file, but I'm not sure I've found the right version. So the ISO file may be the problem, and if anyone could can point me to the correct one I'd appreciate it. Or please point out what I'm doing wrong.

Why they removed customization option in the first place? Extremely precise explanation by the way. I wonder if there's someone who still can't repeat the process.

I did step by step and at end of the process it will say could not install
As of Nov 2022 (probably a lot sooner) this is unnecessary, at least on a Mac, although I'm quite sure the same is true of Windows. When you crank up the Office 365 install app, there is a "Customize" button that brings up a Window that allows you to select the Office apps of your choice to install.

Do you have a guide on how to add the Office 365 icon to the taskbar? I have all the apps separately but before I had an intergated version which had all the apps together similar to Office 365 website where all apps are on the sidebar on the left. I had to delete the old office and re install newer version as the activation key would not work for the older version for some reason. Please let me know how to get it back
Click on the Start button and type Office. Right-click the Office app option and select "pin to taskbar".

Updates will be installed only for the apps you have on your PC.
Should I delet the 2019 version first and then continue the process? Or I can keep the 2019 version?
I'd recommend deleting all previous versions.

When I install my Office 2021 Professional Plus with this method my license key is no longer recognized as such. When I paste it I get an error message "This key is for Microsoft Office 2021 Professional Plus edition", which is to imply that what I've installed isn't that?
That never happened before. I have a video on my Patreon page, under which you can download an activation CMD command for any Office product.
This does only work for installation, but when I try to activate with my Office 2021 Pro Plus key, it says that I haven’t installed the right version (since it says Office365 has been installed, even though I used the Office 2021 Pro Plus iso). If I then choose to continue and to upgrade to 2021 Pro Plus, all the other apps (that I didn’t want) get installed anyway… How to fix that?
I finally have a solution:
Put :
instead of in your Office2021configuration.xml
Later i changed the language in Excel and then Office updated. Then i realized i had OneDrive, Teams and Outlook installed (i don't know if they were installed before the update) but i could uninstall them, so now i have installed only the packages i want.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I just deselected Word and Excel and added OneDrive. However, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint and OneDrive still install. :(

With the product ID you provide in the XML, it is installed Office365. What is the ID for Office 2021?

If in order to install office you use just a one executable file, then it's not gonna work. If it's an ISO file or folder/folders with a bunch of files and executable one, then it will work.
It is ridiculous how they hide this into such a complex requirement. should be basic options. Thanks

There's no need to use this method for office 2007 because in that Office edition you can select which apps you want to install using its graphical interface.
