    I truly hope you guys can corner the market and undercut trawling as society needs a totally shift from smash & grab 'fishing'.

    I want to get into this. I wonder if he would share info how to get started

    • @Credo4
      @Credo4  2 года назад +6

      Im sure he is happy to share more about his story. It started with a passion for marine life and the natural world. This led to him getting a masters degree in aquaculture and eventually working on a shrimp farm in Thailand. In Thailand he saw first hand the destruction nature of farming. Of course there were the odd jobs in between, but really it started with a passion for the animals and wanting to make things better. Then it was years of learning the industry and craft, and a lot of hustle and grit to put everything together.

      What do you mean lol? He shared so much info that its borderline negligent if your only goal is cash. Temperature, Water Hardness, minerals, overall concept, filtration can all be found on youtube. I did not find data for the current. The rest you can find from his infos and then just need to fine tune a bit. The hardest part is probably finding a supplier who will supply larvae in a big amount with a competetive price. Might have to start with breedin before you copy him.

    Im a aquaculture engineer, technically or non technical terminology will never get changed. You spelled wrong. If the species of L.Vanamei and p.mondon are shrimps 🦐 because they grown and lives in salt water completely mariculture, The aquatic species which we grow in fresh water species is called a prawns . Scampi is a prawn. Not everything is a prawn .
    The names "shrimp" and "prawn" are often used interchangeably, and understandably. Shrimp and prawns have a lot in common: They both are decapod crustaceans (meaning they have 10 legs and exoskeletons), they both live near the floor of whatever body of water they inhabit, and their outer appearance-as well as when they're cooked-is very similar. However, it may surprise you to learn that shrimp and prawns are not even the same animals. Shrimp are part of the sub-order Pleocyemata, while prawns belong to the sub-order Dendrobranchiata. Anatomically both shrimp and prawn are not the same. Please don't make the wrong statement's

    This is a fantastic concept. Are the growout tanks freshwater or still brackish. If brackish where is the salinity ppm to Keep the prawns happy?

    He is Selling Shrimp at more than $40 / Kg. But Imported Shrimps Cost Less than $5 / Kg From Farmers of Asian Countries .....Price Determines Everything ....More Price More Technology ....

    • @jabesparker12
      @jabesparker12 Год назад

      Although we sell for$5 it's not the final cost. After they take from us, it goes from person to person. Between food processor, to transporter to exporter to shipping company, to importer there are many hands in between who all need $$. In usa the importer f the shrimp will be paying $20-$25 per kg or a little less.

      Yup...they thought about it...then they decided not to do it. Strange how they talk about reducing environmental impact as part of their sales pitch but they will not help to spread the technology even if paid they are paid for their services.

    Carbon is good not bad. It is an indicator of warmth not the cause. It is less than a % of a % in our atmosphere. Government's want to tax carbon for money & power.

      Geoengineering is the cause of climate change and it is the tool being used to trick the ignorant masses into believing in man made climate change. Higher co2 level would produce double and triple the amount of food
