As a muslim, we believe Virgin Mary gave birth baby Jesus (pbuh) outdoor below a date-palm tree. As it is mentioned on the Holy Quran, Surah Virgin Mary (19:23), "And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten". It came with a conclusion, baby Jesus was born during non-winter season. However, the exact date aren't mentioned, so it is still a mystery indeed.

Christmas is purely rooted in sun worship. For those unawares, the sun travels 15 degrees per day and proceeds south until the southern solstice on Dec 21 where it remains fixed for 3 days before beginning it's migration north again by 15 degrees per day beginning Dec 25. This is further why the Christ, the sun in mithra sun worship, is said to rise again after being "dead" for 3 days, in reality fixed for 3 days when it begins (rises from the dead) to travel by 15 degrees per day in it's progression north again each year.
Scriptures tell us that the angel Gabriel was sent to Mary in the 6th month to inform her of her impending pregnancy to birth the messiah. The Father's true new year begins March/April(Abib) on the Roman Gregorian calendar when nature's life begins anew rather than the dead of winter January 1st and April fools days was coined to ridicule those who followed the true new years beginning by referring to them as April fools. As such Mary would have become pregnant August/September (6th month) as she was already newly pregnant when she went to Elizabeth's shortly afterwards and give birth most likely in March/April(Abib) of the following year, the correct time for the birthing of lambs which is why the shepherds would be keeping their flocks by night to assist with the birthing and witnessed the star that the wisemen followed in order to locate the newborn messiah. It's no surprise as to why the messiah is referred to as the Lamb of God, with our Father nothing is by coincidence. And when is the Jewish Passover celebrated with lambs which would have to be before the lambs matured into sheep? Passover is celebrated in early spring March/April (Abib) when lambs are birthed. Nothing is coincidence.
Our messiah was most definitely not born Dec 25.

Informative but false. Have you heard some say that Christmas is a Pagan celebration or that it has Pagan roots?
Please, let me set the record straight. Christmas (Feast of the Nativity) was never Pagan. It was created and placed on the solstice in order to usurp that day from the Pagans. Now, Christmas may have taken on Pagan attributes such as trees etc. but its origins are utterly Christian. Please read the quoted text below.
No, it was never Pagan. Wikipedia states: "It was a custom of the Pagans to celebrate on the same 25 December the birthday of the Sun, at which they kindled lights in token of festivity. In these solemnities and revelries, the Christians also took part. Accordingly, when the doctors of the Church perceived that the Christians had a leaning to this festival, they took counsel and resolved that the true Nativity should be solemnized on that day" Also: "As Christmas was known to early Christian writers, it must have been introduced during apostolic times. Irenaeus mentioned it in his list of feasts" Also: "The earliest known Christmas celebration is recorded in a first-century document called the Apostolic Constitutions. This manuscript, thought to have been written by Clement Romanus around the year AD 70, is believed to record a celebration that occurred in the earliest days of Christianity." So, the feast of the Nativity was purposefully placed on that day to usurp it from the Pagans. There are no Pagan roots.
Notice the phrase from Irenaeus, "they took counsel and resolved that the true Nativity should be solemnized on that day" That does not mean that Jesus was born on the 25th. It means that they decided to place a new celebration on that day. Undoubtedly, this took place with the full knowledge and probably counsel of the Apostles.

No mention about Odin, called Father Jul in the Nordics. In the Nordic countries we still celebrate Jul (Yule) and we’ve newer called it Christmas. The word Jul comes from the word for sun in old Norse. Also, the old man with the beard is called Jultomten, not Santa, and he represents Odin, the all knowing god, riding the skies during Jul, giving presents to the good and punishing the bad, posing as a old man with a white beard.
Living in the dark nordic winter you’ll get it’s all about the winter solstice and the celebration of the sun coming back.

He is revered for his acts of kindness and generosity. One well-known story recounts how Nicholas helped three impoverished sisters by providing dowries to prevent them from being sold into slavery. According to the legend, he secretly threw bags of gold through their window at night.
Another tale tells of Nicholas saving three innocent men from unjust execution. Christ -Mass, Christmass, Christmas....If by the term Christian, one referring to a Cathokic, or Protestant; one who goes to their denominational church house on a regular basis, and whose beliefs and practices are based upon the traditions and teachings of that denomination; then yes, that person, being a part of that religious system to which Jesus refers in the scriptures as " MYSTERY, BABYLON, MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH", would consider Christmas to be a Christian observance.
If however, by the term Christian, one is referring to a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose beliefs and practices are based wholly upon the testimony and teaching of the scripture; then, no, that person must necessarily reject the Christmas tradition, and all things associated with it, as it is purely Roman in tradition and origin, completely pagan, with no basis in the scripture whatsoever.
Let's us hear what the LORD says in his word about the pagan traditions of the heathen, and how he would have his people to regard those things
"Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen.....for the CUSTOMS of the people are vain"
      JEREMIAH 10: 1-3 KJV
"And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye seperate, saith the LORD, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my son's and daughters, saith the LORD Almighty"

Date is just a date and it has nothing to do with the pagan's son God as the center of the Christmas but Christ alone. It's just the original Christians made their own version birthday celebration of the true Son of God not the other way around.

You may be a good person compared with some-but are you good enough to get into Heaven on your own? The answer is no-because God’s standard is nothing less than perfection, and none of us is perfect.
But when we come to Christ, God freely and fully forgives us all our sins, and now Heaven’s door is open to us. This is possible only because on the cross all our sins were transferred to Christ, and He became the final sacrifice for our sins. Because of Him, the Bible says, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Hebrews 6:19).
Christ will give you a new love for others, and a new desire to help them and share Christ with them. He’ll also deepen the good things in your life, and prune away the bad things (and we all have them). Don’t delay, but by faith turn to Jesus and open your heart to His transforming POWER.

According to Christians "Christmas," the Winter Holiday, originated from the Deserts of the Middle East where Winter is very mild. Makes no sense at all. Christmas is obviously a Winter holiday from Northern Europe, formerly known as Yule. Think about it folks. Snow, Reindeer, Elves, these things are NOT from the Middle East. If you like Christmas you can thank the Vikings not the Christians (whom tried to outlaw the celebration).

Now here is the truth.

Let us analyze and study History... Christ Jesus was born in Bethlehem between the 6th to 4th year BCE during the reign of King Herod under the Roman Emperor Augustus Caesar...
During that time the Ancient Roman Calender had only 10 months... The 1st month up to the 6th month was represented by the Roman gods and goddesses' Root Names while the 7th month came from the Roman Root word SEPTA, which became SEPTEMBER, then the 8th month came from the Roman Root word OCTO, which became OCTOBER, then the 9th month came from the Roman Root word NOVI, which became NOVEMBER and finally the 10th month came from the Roman Root word DECI, which became DECEMBER.
Historians believe that Christ Jesus was born during the "10th month" (Fall Season) which at that time was called in the Ancient Roman Calendar, DECEMBER... When the Roman Emperor Augustus Caesar died in the 14th year, 1st Cent. A.D. when Christ Jesus was in His Teenage years, Emperor Tiberius succeeded the throne and added 2 more months in recognition of Julius Caesar for the 7th month called JULY, and Augustus Caesar for the 8th month called AUGUST, thus, the month of September became the 9th, October became the10th, November became the 11th and December was no longer the original 10th month but became the 12th month in which there were already SNOW in Bethlehem (Winter Season)...
When Christ was born in Bethlehem, His registered BIRTH was the 10th month (December), which was the written Roman Census at that time for Blessed Mary and St. Joseph. When Emperor Tiberius reigned in the 14th year, 1st Cent. A.D., the Roman Calendar became 12 months adding the months of July and August, thus, all born on the 10th month including Christ Jesus became the 12th month (still called December) but in Winter Season in Israel...
The Exact Birth Day of Jesus on the "10th month" (December) was lost... the Pagan Roman Empire celebrated the SUN GOD FESTIVAL every the 25th day of December (10th Month), and Christ Jesus was also born on the 10th month in Bethlehem presently December today, and since the Pagan Roman Empire accepted the Faith of Christianity in 325 A.D.... the Roman Catholic Church replaced the Pagan SUN GOD FESTIVAL into the "Holy Mass (Celebration) of Christ Jesus" commonly called today CHRISTMAS... The First Christmas in the Christian Roman Empire (United East and West Roman Empire) was celebrated on December 25, 325 A.D....
What better way to STOP the Pagan Festival was to adopt the "Birth of Christ Jesus" on the 10th Month which was presently December (the 12th month)... Analogy, if a person cheated on you, what better way to replace that person is to find another better person than the previous one, and not to have a pet animal as a replacement... the same analogy.
Another Analogy... if your Birthday falls on LEAF YEAR (February 29) does this mean you won't have your birthday each year and your age will only increase every 4 years?... or perhaps your Birthday is moving on March 1st every non-leaf year?... NOPE... your birthday will still remain on FEBRUARY but move 1 day backward, on the 28th... the same analogy...
Therefore, Christ Jesus was born in Bethlehem on the 10th month, the Fall Season of the Original December... and not the 12th month, the Winter Season of the New December.
Facts and Truth of the Matters, Historians, and Archeological Attested...

The Birth, Death, Gospel and Life of Jesus Christ must be celebrated and adored by all christians through the calender year and throughout their life, just as the community itself must set aside days and periods in the year to truly celebrate and share with the world the good things that the Lord our God has done for us throughout the days we have lived by His word and teachings and with great belief that no matter the trails we face now better days are set before soon to be embraced.

christmas the story behind the traditions

    • @davidbrogan606
      @davidbrogan606 3 года назад +1

@M Marquis Where does the Bible say that listening to "xmas music" is okay? Whatt does the tree play in that purpose? Who is Santa Claus?

    • @khajum4
      @khajum4 3 года назад

@M Marquis in the Bible you will find that God calls Prophet David the Son of God, Prophet Solomon the Son of God, etc. God described some people that He loved as children of Him, so are you going to call them as children of God too?
Go and read your Bible. Don't beat around the bush. You have a lot of contradictions. And Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) never said he's God, or Son of God, or part of Trinity, or 3 in 1, or 1 in 3, or part of God, or whatever you call it.
He is a prophet. And a messenger. A human being to guide his own nation. Like other prophets preceding him, and of course, one after him, which is Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), doesn't matter if you like it or not.
God does not need a son. Or a daughter. Neither of them. God is perfect. God does not rely on His creation. He does what He wants. Your belief is not befitting him. Avoid the trinity. Aim the purity.
Study the Bible. And study the Qur'an. Study history. Do compare two religions - Christianity and Islam. Then come to a sensible conclusion. And if you are truthful, you know where to go.
Don't be like many - they're a flock of sheep. Be a leader instead. Like a wolf. So, come on you.
Utilise your brain and your heart. Don't be too emotional. Don't be too strict. Be a bit of both - Islam is a middle path. Christianity is too emotional. Judaism is too strict. So, be balanced. Use your logic. And your heart at the same time.
