- Hey Everybody! I'm back with another rocking Pokémon cover for you all! "Penny's Theme" has been requested SO MUCH and it's not hard to see why considering, in my opinion, it was made for the keytar! I had a blast recording this one. I have it on loop and I think it sounds even better the second and third play-throughs!
Somehow I didn't notice all the layers of things going on the first time, but I guess when I know what's coming from the first time, I notice all the rest of the smaller things the second time around!
(I don't know why, but I almost hear some "Hey!"s and "claps" in my mind around 0:14 and 0:48, even though I know they're not there, my mind just pictures them, lol.)

I'm astounded. I haven't kept up on any 'new' Pokemon battle music since the old, old games, but THIS is legitimately better than even the original Red/Blue theme for battles. I'm guessing it's because you took the original source's quality to the next level, as you do 100% of the time! Keep up your fantastic work!

Thank goodness there’s other ways if making 9mil poke money. The battle tournament song is so boring compared to this 👍 Everytime i took on the tournament I would fall asleep 😴
Penny's theme was way too hard for a little kid with social insecurities. Still slaps, this version even more so. Just didn't fit the character.

@@BJGvideos That's a great premise for a change in her music becoming more confident as the game goes on, but isn't the character we meet in game when this song is used. It should have been more timid and either secretive or nervous, but with teases that this is the song it was to become later. And, even then, I'm not sold this is a song about a person she would become. It starts out wild and chaotic, then proceeds to be a HEAVY electric beat. Does anything about Penny really seem heavy? Even in her element, she softsteps everywhere she goes or deals with it indirectly.
