    Sifu Meredith you must not give up teaching energetic , you must not stop. If even one person can learn from what you are teaching it would have been worth it. Salvation lies within

    This man is legit and real martial artist , learning and development for you and also invent new training methods,if people understand and do it right they will feel the difference and probably some of them will find the internal force for the first time . This and also others methods from this manual are priceless especially if you building fundamentals , people have hard time to understand the importance of getting it right and investing in fundamentals for some time , everybody wants to learn the forms and to become master for 6 months haha well it doesn't happen like that , you must build the strong foundation and spend time mastering the new skills ,it doesn't matter how many forms you learn if you don't have the energy your art is useless .I admire people who have the guts to learn and grow in this arts , looking any great master you will see that he invented something or change something or combine some methods, its living art practiced by living people ,it is funny how some people are absolutely ignorant of the principles, but still claim some tradition and make this great work equal to religion,yes it is coming from tradition and religious practices,but it could be developed by anyone ,so it must be part of human nature , hidden,may be forgotten, but real.I have great respect for anyone who has part of popularization and development of internal martial arts, however so many people are claiming they have skills and knowledge , but use cheap tricks and stupid force acting as real deal ,but karma is a btch and many of them were and will be embarrassed! Who ever want to train internal arts must be careful and patience is the way, learn to accept defeat and try to get something from it, never use tricks and make fool of yourself , with time you will change inwardly and outwardly people around you will feel the difference.

    I own juice and a few other books. It’s very obvious you have something very powerful and extremely unique in your understanding of energetics. I’m still very much trying to generate the karma to apply what you’re offering.

    What is missing in your stuff scott is simple, make a forum for people who have tried and followed your stuff! it would be a gem of information on true internal energy. Sure youll get trolls too, but i think its worth doing that! Everyone could learn from each other and the energy.

    Very unique perspective on internal martial arts. You should publish books also on internal Alchemy or nei Dan , with your same style,for the moment Damo Mitchell’s books are the best on this subject, maybe a collaboration with him.

    Please keep teaching and posting to RUclips! I have tried dozens of styles of Qigong and T'ai Chi and none of them have the empowerment you bring! I think maybe you need an agent to help you "package" your teachings better :), but you should never change them or stop giving them! I would love to take your classes. Where do you teach in person? I have looked for you on the web but cannot find your studio.

    I'm a new believer... who also has noticed there's two books of yours out of print. I've already purchased currently avaliable vids on vimeo and plan to buy the books when I have some cash to spare. Are there any plans to bring back the out of print ones or other ways to access them? This information is incredible.

    Scott, I just discovered your work and have been pouring through it, thanks for contributing such clear and skillfull teachings. One question: when you say "engage the feet as the palms and fingers are engaged" (4:30), does this mean to mirror the movement in the hands with the same movement in the feet, or to engage the feet in some other way, or simply to bring relaxed awareness to the feet just as much to the hands? Much thanks

      @scottmeredith4578  4 года назад +1

      It's to "bring relaxed awareness to the feet just as much to the hands", thank you!

    Well, I did it for 10 minutes and... nothing. Words like "placebo" are popping up in my mind now; to explain the positive responses from others of their experiences. People are hungry to feel something. I'll try it again, at some point. I ordered SURGE yesterday, so... boy oh boy; I cannot tell you how many books I've picked up through the years and: nothing. They say that hope springs eternal; but with me, now, hope is just limping along now. I've just turned 69 & I've been doing the 37 posture short form since 1985. So many confident teachers, promising so much, more than happy to take my money. Well, we'll see what happens here, too. Maybe something good.

    • @scottmeredith4578

      Screw it, if you don't get the results you want just email me I'll give you DOUBLE your money back. In fact, email me right now, I don't care whether you get results or not. With this attitude, I'll happily refund double your purchase price regardless. I don't appreciate the suggestion that I'm trying to gouge your lousy $12.95 out of you. I couidn't care less about it. Means nothing to me. This way, your purchase of SURGE is now free so you can throw it away as soon as it arrives. I've got 75 free training videos on here and I have to listen to this kind of thing? You think I've never heard that brilliant insight "placebo" before? Thank you for your interest.

    Nice one! Two questions: 1. Can this lead to the discovery of PENG? 2. Is there a variant or exercise with similar results that does not use a rail?

    • @scottmeredith4578
      @scottmeredith4578  8 лет назад +3

      +Frederic Zolnet Yes once you feel the full surge from feet to hands, that is Peng energy, exactly what I cover (with other drills) in PENG book. Relatively easy to feel from this rail work then you strengthen it indefinitely, sky's the limit. But you cannot optimize what you cannot feel, so that gets you a leg up. As for 2nd question, in a way, EVERYTHING else I have taught in all my books and dvd's both Tai Chi and Xing Yi is "a variant with similar results". It's all pointing to the same thing. The closest thing in mechanical terms to this rail work is to do the 7 Peng book poses with a partner supporting your arm or leg, and then slowly releasing you back to your own self-support. Doing that repeatedly really helps build your sensitivity to the growing power. The pole work shown on the Xing Yi side is also a kind of support mechanism, similar to the rail work in some ways. But frankly simply doing the Tai Chi poses (or whole form if you know it) with all the principles I have tried to put out there in Juice, Peng, Surge and the "Tai Chi Singularity" film (vimeo) - doing all that builds the same Peng wave that the rail work does. Likewise, the mudra work shown in book Packing will do it too. With the mudra work people give up way too quickly, thinking its hand shapes to calm your mind. No, you can work the mudra's to generate exactly that same feet-to-fingers flow that the railwork does for you. Same thing exactly, just a different mode of work. So please beg, borrow or steal a copy of PACKING book if you want to see more of that way of using mudra's (not your normal yogic take on the subject).

      +Scott Meredith This is fascinating stuff, Scott. I've ordered your Radical Xingyi Energetics (and just realised Railwork isn't on it!), but I still have two brief questions. Roughly, how many times (or perhaps how long in minutes) should the hand raising and lowering be done before the pause on the final raise? And how long should the pause be held, before doing Santi?

  • @alexfgdfg9890
    @alexfgdfg9890 7 лет назад +1

    HI first off, scott you ROCK! like no joke, your sharing of this ancient knowledge is priceless and amazing.
    I have a really good question(if i do say so myself).. i did some railwork shown in this video and finished with santi shi. I didnt feel much energy in cau or anything when first doing the normal railwork, until the very end of it i felt some energy in my hands. (similar to what i feel in my hands in quiet standing. Then when i did san ti i felt something similar from arm to hand, like a "hydraulic" or pulsating energetic feeling. It wasent anything intense like you talk about the CAU. I did not feel the cau itself., but i sure felt some fascinating stuff. Do you think i got something good, and the more i practice it will i feel the CAU charge (i assume its similar to the schock u get when u do beng quan?) Again thanks for your time and effort in transmitting these treasures. Let me know, thanks!
