they immediately throw away Paul's eiffel tower after the camera crew left.
It's quite possible, yes :D
I was thinking this too, that chef was being polite for Paul and the cameras but you could see from his reaction he thought it was rubbish ha ha
@@Drum8888it was rubbish haha
😂
@@Drum8888 it's like a child's play
The earnest look of expectation and pride on every chef's face in each of these shows hits me right in my heart.❤️ So touching to see someone who truly cares about what they put into the world. 😇
proud to be parisian born and raised! and yes; baguette twice a day is very common!
florenceandthemakeup Paris is one of my favourite cities to visit. I love the whole experience every time I visit. (My husband works for a French Bank so we visit often) The food is always wonderful. The people have always been warm, friendly and welcoming.
One food I _need_ to try is the huge cheese wheel that I once saw being melted at the table.
Paris is perfect. 😘😘😘
@Danny M we all know why
So beautiful, to have a culture of freshly made food.
@@JulieWallis1963 that's probably "Raclette" ? It's eaten more in Switzerland :) yummy

There’s nothing like the smell of fantastic bakery. Evokes the best memories.
My beloved fan it's been long ago but I want to take this opportunity to thank you, for being the best supporter I could ever ask for and I'm also given you the privileged to have a conversation with me hangout messenger (phollywood162@gmail.com)I appreciate your love and support thank you so much. Stay safe and healthy
The television crew and editor are the best ever. So pleasing to watch perfection not only in a bakery but on the screen as well.
So happy to have this little series to watch. Paul does a great job showing the famous bakes for each city. Love these! Thank you!
I'm French and...I do miss sausage rolls from Britain.
The steak pies, the sausage rolls, the Cornish pasties, the pork pies...
Let's face it, they're absolutely DELICIOUS!
This is such a good show. Was addicted after watching the NY one. It’s maybe the best travel baking show I’ve seen cause Paul isn’t annoying! He just speaks normally!
That Eiffel Tower eclair . . . at 21:44 the chef's thinking "Nailed it . . . horribly."
ye he was like i cant believe someone can be so bad at something xD
It's like those people who sing so awful but think that they are rock stars when they audition on American Idol. Paul's tower was kindergarten baking at best. So embarrassing that he is so puffed up about everything Paul
For heavens sake, be nice! Its all about having fun- and this all IS fun!
Love how Paul is so complimentary and knowledgeable
Gosh Paul really knows his baking his descriptions are so colourful.
Oh I envy you Paul. You are killing me with this City Bakes series. When nobody can travel.....
This is from 2016.
@@fashiondiva99 So? It's still 2020, the year of the pandemic in my town.
@@Evan490BC - Her point is, he’s not traveling during the pandemic
Maybe we are all looking at it wrong...he is providing us with cherished and wonderful recipes! Have a wonderful week, and enjoy the bread making. As always, thank you. 🙂
Also, inspires us all to get baking! Today I am making Irish soda bread!
wow I've watched all the British bake off shows enjoyed them all so glad to watch all of these I worked in the industry for 35 years always enjoy watching still wish i could smell!!!!!!
I love his enthusiasm and excitement about the glorious baked goods in Paris it makes me want to go back and try these places
I'm a French girl currently living in Toronto and I love Canada (I don't even want to go back to France) but gooood do I miss a good baguette and good croissants.
Elwène Llp can you get good ones in Montreal?
Elwène Llp with some lovely French coffee too . The best coffee I’ve ever had is always in France.
@@JulieWallis1963 Italian coffee is not that bad too 🙄
Try Thuet Bakery
I have done a fair bit to travelling and Paris (I'm from Canada) is by far my favourite city for many reasons. It's culture, it's beauty, its history, its style and its food! The best croissant I found was in a small truck stop we stopped at on a day tour to Mont Ste Michel. The cappuccino's were amazing as well. Just wish I knew who baked the croissants for them! Have been to Paris twice and planning trip #3!!
It is a good thing you are not gluten sensitive or you cannot be doing what you’re doing. Just watching you eat these things makes my mouth water
After watching the NYC episode with its doughnuts and bagels, Paris took me to a different baking planet. Oh my! Paul you didn't go to "Eclair de Genie", this is where you find the 21st century eclairs. No doubt you will come back to Paris.
Paul should come back to NYC too! We have more than just bagels and donuts.
That Mona Lisa eclair is really a work of heart , it’s genius, very artistic , but then again it’s French .
Such a great tour and series. I love Paul's passion and enthusiasm.
Paul, I hope you had time to experience Notre Dame since you filmed this before the tragic fire. Am crying while watching this, tears of joy, tears of sorrow. Merci!
I just love your show Paul Hollywood! It's the best; informative, entertaining with lots of great tips for creating the best bakes from around the world. cheers.
I pray for u all the time! Love u love your recipes
"they look french" LMFAO the sass
Paul: they look amazing, they taste amazing
Her: Of course
Me: French Modesty.
When hearing the baguette cracking as he breaks it in half just makes me think of the scene in Ratatouille where Colette is talking about the same thing and how the sound is how to define if it is a good baguette or not
I'm surprised that Paul had not visited Paris before. It's so close to London! This is like someone growing up in LA that had never been to the beach
Looooove this series! Excellent.
I could live on Paris’s croissants !!! ❤️❤️❤️🥂
Un oeuf is “enough”. Love your show, Paul. Vive le croissant!
I have been to Paris and it is the most beautiful place to indulge in pastry. Your creativity in the Paris tower is stunning.
" They look French!" LOL..😂🤣 they just look exquisite...yummy n Tasty I'm sure..🙄😂🤣
I would be like a child in a candy shop seeing all those delicious pastries. I would be broke on the 1st day🤣
I want to know his workout schedule after eating all this bread and pastries. Love this series as well.
Has no workout schedule. Have you seen him lately?
As if
Ummm ... not quite sure he does workout ... have ya seen his belly!? He's still adorable, though.🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
I love making croissants, it always makes the house smell heavenly!
createinspain how clever you are, I can’t
@@Suzyfromtheblock The right recipe, and it isn't hard. The time is the main thing but most of it is resting dough, not actually doing anything to it!
I love making croissants it is so much fun
That's what l love to works as a earlier morning bake. Passion, love from your heart .
One of those eclairs looked like a lemon meringue eclair...that would taste amazing.
If you pause it at 16:40 you can just about tell from the title that that is pretty much it flavour (i don’t speak french, but it’s not hard to tell...) - it’s got lemon creme patisserie with meringue on top as far as i can tell - delish!!! Wonder how they add lemon - directly or do they make a curd...hmmm...
Definitely will be trying that next though, as eclairs and lemon meringue pie are my two favourite things to bake! Though I’ll never pretend my eclairs look even half professional, let alone anything these works of art! :D
That baguette 🥖 sound is amazing 🤩
thank you for this video with a lot of information it makes you dream
Crazy about this chef. Learn so much from his International travels.
Paul: These taste amazing!
Sasha: Of course!
I can hear the eye roll in her tone. Ahhh... the French.
The Eiffel tower is not a building but a sculpture . Or even a statue.
If your teenage daughter was an entire country.
Bruh what's the real name of sasha?
That Eiffel pastry at the end looked like a child made it lmao.
I can't believe I didn't try a single piece of French pastry when I was in Paris for a week in the spring of 2019. Now I really have to go back and indulge.
The sound of heaven.
Hi Paul. I loved traveling “ with you “ during the pandemic. Great series... Next time you go to Paris try out the Croissants at Arnaud Delmontel , in my humble opinion the best in the world, and I have been living in France for 8 years now .. keep up the good work- best Jeppe
*I love the show, and i'm binge watching it until i saw all the episodes, I'll even watch it from morning to evening like non stop, but who here can watch a full episode without starving and going to the fridge i mean if i continue watching Paul, I'll probably weigh 10 more kilos, it's like every time he enters a new shop i eat something...*
OMG!!! ThankU!!!! 👌
Paul's lovable TV persona is highly watchable and engaging..
After seeing all those French pastries, his eiffel tower at the end looks so very... English.
Wonderful. Paul I went to Paris for the first time when I was an adult, early 40s and like you I was crazy for the bakeries. I was overwhelmed with the artisan patisseries - just like you. It was like re-living my first time in Paris...only you got to do what I only dreamed of doing, going behind the scenes and working with the bakers! It looked like a lot of fun and you really seemed to enjoy it! Thanks.
Merci Paul, Paris is my favorite city also!
Haha, happy to have bought some delicious croissants before watching this video! 😍💕🌼
❤ I LOVE this episode! 🥐🥖 I tried to make croissants and have failed but kept on and love when they turn out delicious- such a treat! My most favorite baked good - chocolate eclairs🤎 I used to work at the counter in a French bakery with French bakers. I can't find that quality in the states and that French bakery smell - it is sweet, buttery, deep with love of baking. LOVE this episode 💋💘
I'm gaining weight just watching. I hope I get to go to Paris I love fine food. Such an art!!
I was there in August 2018 and it was 90 F degrees. But the bakery two blocks away was wonderful.
Love you, Paul
Chef Laurent used to tach at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, he’s an M.O.F. Bravo, Chef!
I love your new show paul
Wow 😮 Paris BAGUETTE 🥖 is my favorite.sooooooooo much yummy 😋 And Pistachio cake is so delicious with English 🍵 tea..Thank you so much again my dear friend fantastic tour. I can’t wait to go.God bless and peace grace you dear always 🙏
Yes I agree the baguettes in Paris are exceptional it has spoiled me for bread I wish They had boulangeries where I live and I could buy one every day: ) And the best thing about Paris baguettes is that they’re affordable and available to everybody
I always enjoyed my breakfast and bakes while in Paris, dinner was usually okay but it was best to go off the beaten path if possible and avoid where the tourist go. Thank goodness for google today and specialty blogs. Happy travels, when we can travel again.
Went to Sacré-Cœur with my family but it was super late afterwards. There’s the path way up with all the shops and bakeries and such. We were hungry for dinner but everything seemed closed. I peeked down one of the many alley ways and near the end there was a small neon sign. Went to see if it was somewhere to eat. Ended up being one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
That eclairs 🤤🤤🤤
Here in Chicago Illinois, we have lots of Euro bake shops, the chocolate croissants are divine! I ride my bike there, so I don’t feel guilty for indulging.
Me encanta los rollitos con crema, los paisajes que presentas y todas las delicias de postres en las diferentes panaderías,muy bueno el programa, suerte, siempre estás en mis oraciones, cuidate mucho.
Paul, I have a question for you. How long have you been making Patachou? SP? It was great watching you stand back and watch Chef make the Patachou and then you get in there and show off your strong arms... great fun watching this show it was much fun for me. thank you from Ohio
Enjoyable chef
Que bello este hombre
Your a chef! Omg! Brilliant ! As well as tasting all foods unique! Lol
Lol yum...lol love it!
Hi paris people! love from italy
Myyy life!!
That is one thing I miss about living in Paris, the bakeries.
Loved it😂
cant believe u havent been there before!! great show!
I was shocked he hadn't been
I was shocked as well - England is so close to Paris; and because he is a great baker, you would think he might have received some training in Paris. Oh well, I guess one doesn’t have to go to Paris to learn how to become a good baker, which is encouraging. :)
Such love & precision that goes into their bakery products- this has been a privilege for me to journeyed through Paris with these creative artists . MERCI!
Amazing is right Paul ... Fantastic... Jim from Chicago ... Keep Baking ... You are my Idle...

a favourite of mine to just add strawberry jam and a fabulous coffee...mmmm xx
Lyon is amazing for patisserie too
Lyon is amazing for anything to do with food
Najbolji najljepši na SVIJETU
Well France has gorgeous bakers
Sebastian...wow..2am.yum.
Somebody needed to tell you that 15 times is too many comments on one video, and that, honestly honey, most of them don’t make sense.
Omg...amazing. people not over weight...that's so amazing!
I’ve heard that they are walking a lot :-)
How do people make up their mind on what to pick?? Everything looks so good
you just come back again and again to try it all
That's how I gained 40 pounds. I ate everything I saw.
in europe we go to bakeries every day, so each day you have a chance to pick something else to try out
What a life 😊
@@bbee6 They ARE bakeries outside of Europe, you know!

Ouii
Well I’m actually drooling over bread I can’t believe it
Merci beaucoup...👍❤👄
Psst, have they all gone? Yes, dump the Eiffel Tower eclair.
David Squires the french baker was so kind to Paul... but his Eiffel Tower was not a work of art.
I know, you could tell the chef was NOT feeling it.
Still Paul was very brave (and/or foolish) to try to do baking art after seeing the magnificent beautiful pieces of artwork that the French bakers had in the Patisserie window display! Its like comparing the Kindergarden crayon drawing hanging on your doting mum's fridge with the mona lisa in the Louvre LOL
I enjoy these videos ❣️

Came up on my recommended clips, and I am very glad I found the Antwerp one first. I can perhaps understand that he had not travelled there, but to be a famous pastry chef, with heaps of TV coverage and says he has never been to Paris! Not sure I buy that! LOL🤣🤣🍰🍰
The French Baker probably pulled it out of the window as soon as Paul rounded the corner!
first visit to Paris???? OMG.
He's a great presenter.
I worked as a front counter person for the first French bakers in Berkeley CA in 1980. Gotta say they were super full of themselves & very mean to me. At 17 I had no clue, no idea what they were trying to do. I was in high school, what did I know? Just wanted to be treated fairly in a job. So whew what a clash of cultures we had! I don’t remember breakfast things like croissants, but their chocolate curls on cakes were amazing to me. 40 years later it’s fairly normal, back then, wow.
That was very captivating -- you're a good writer -- you should write a book about your experience!
The Bay area has some great bakeries. There is a visit in this series, but it is a bit dated.
Mary Mintz lol just saw this, not sure what you’re seeing there :) You probably meant someone else ;)
Larry C Ru talking about Cheese Board? If so not rly dated except for COVID. They are as lovely as always. Just had their pizza for dinner tonight. Top notch corn pizza w/mild chiles & limes...mmm
@@lcflngn I do not know Cheese Board but it sounds delicious! Paul's show on SF did not stop there. Some from SF commented that the show seemed old - like you said pre-COVID. He should come back & take me with him!! 😋
Super delicios
I love croissant but the three day process puts me off making them at home.
I have been to Laurent Duchene patisserie and it really is as good as it looks. Okay, maybe I am biased because I have friends there but it's still damn good
