- In this video I review 2011 Snyder st 600 c Chinese 4-passenger three wheel car-motorcycle I found. There are only six of those in Illinois! It is strange these things are legal and sold in the US when I cannot import Toyota Aygo.

Holy cow. I have a Daewoo Matiz, and I can't believe how similar this is. When you're in front of the wheel it's just like the Matiz. I wonder how they got away with this during manufacture.
I love that video! This by comparison is extremely stable. The engine is in the rear of this vehicle, and the center of gravity is extremely low. You can take corners at above the recommended speeds without any tipping issues at all.
Is the camera mounted on the end of an electric toothbrush?
I used to get on these carts when the Carnival came to town and when Walmart had them by the entrance. You only had to put a quarter to make it work.
This car has many names. This one tops them all. Daewoo Matis, Chevrolet Spark, Pontiac G2, Chery QQ, MVM 110, Baojun Lechi, Ravon Matiz.
I would like one as I like unusual vehicles and if the price was low. However three wheeler with one wheel on the front have a very strong tendency to tip over during cornering. Looks fun though
you watch top gear don’t you
@@noodlesthefox6787 I stopped watching Top Gear a long time ago, when it stopped being educational and the presenting style became inane.
well i mean with the 3 wheel thing
in the episode with the reliant robin they rigged the car heavily to make it roll over
@@noodlesthefox6787 Thankyou and it would not surprise me.
It is even better when you drive it and see it in person. Yes it is a little cheap, but it is reliable and drives quite nicely.
reliant Robin: upgraded
bruhshe Matiz compatibility added
yoloswaggins swagalicious lol the robin has five seats
Reliant robin + daewoo matiz (chery QQ) = new reliant robin 4th generation
Up yours!
Actually with how badly these things are built, I’d consider it a downgrade.
I saw this in China. Its a great car! I am going to get one to Europe at any cost.
Once you drive it, you will HAVE to get one. I am getting one for sure! I can't wait, it's a blast.
I am finding it hard to believe that you actually drove one. It gets up to it's max speed (about 72 mph) quite fast enough thank you. The build quality is a bit cheap on certain parts, yes. However it is reliable and drives nicely while getting awesome MPG. Why the hate?
I bet you drive an H2. :P
I definitely want this car!
Love it. Will like to see one if it ever becomes available in the US. Don't like the idea of 3 wheeled vehicles becoming widely mainstream available to consumers everywhere though.
Yes, the heater works quite well. Too well since it has only one setting, on or off. You will have to cycle it. Also, yes, it has reverse too. It is actually a pleasure to drive!
You are correct. The older model from wildrife was not made by Fulu motors. Wildfire is only an importer by the way. This one is also imported by them. The real model is FL600zk-7 or zk-a. This model is WAAAAAAAY better than the other one sold as a wildfire here. WAY better. I drove both. I will be buying this one, and wouldn't take the other one as a gift. :P
To add to this useful information (Thanks!) I would also like to point out, these are manufactured by Dezhou FULU Vehicle Co. The engine and trans are made by Chery, and are super reliable, and the brakes (all three wheels are discs) are made by Suzuki. As far as the motorcycle thing, that depends entirely on your state laws. They are all completely different. In Washington for example, you don't need a CY endorsement in these. Always check with your local DMV.
The engine is an extremely reliable SQR272 by CHERY engine company. They make engines for all sorts of things, even John Deere tractors. The tires, brakes, and shocks are all made by Suzuki.
Honestly this vehicle doesn't require much for maintenance at all.
Gear oil for the 4 speed constant mesh trans, and motor oil. Then you have basics like air filters and spark plugs. It does use a timing belt, but it is easily changeable at 70k miles.
There isn't much to fail on it.
Cool car
I agree. From the original manufacturer, Fulu Motors, they are about $2,700 USD. Wildfire imports them and makes a pretty penny for them. You can buy them at original price, but you must buy a container of 6. However you get about $2k worth of parts for free if you do!
Totally cool, I saw last night one parked here in Berlin, it has been parked for a while so might be abandoed it has a German plate and it is electric.
Love this. I thought the trike should look like something like this too. A trike with a steering wheel-has the make of a real car but its a trike.
Wildfire does not offer a long warranty on this vehicle, it is true. However Fulu motors, the actual company who makes and sells these in China warrants them for 54k km. They are quite proud of these, and they are in-fact quite reliable. They are used as taxis there.
So that we can have it here in the good old USA. They make the same thing with four, but then it would have to have air bags and crash testing. This one is a motorcycle and uses a cycle plate here. Gets around those requirements.
Hope this helps!
I got a chuckle out of that one, congrats sir!
I have a Tri Fun EXT and love it!!!! It's a little bigger than a WildFire 600-T.
What the fuck! :D matiz on 3 wheels :D :D
Looks like it shares a lot of body components with the early Daewoo Matiz 800's.
it's a piece of crap clone of it with 3 wheels instead of 4
Correct, Only you must mean Chevy Spark, or Daewoo Matiz. (The two worked together) The body on this is a copy! The doors are even interchangeable.
Another is the Chery QQ. This vehicle even has a nice Chery engine!
Saw these 3 wheel vehicles and the Wildfire version a few years ago and like them. There are concerns about tipping over but that could be resolved with wider tires on the rear I would think. If this engine could be turbocharged it would be better suited to highway use. Here in South Carolina i believe they would sell.
I have read through several of the comment, and I personally know these Snyders. First, these Snyder are imported by, (who else), WILDFIRE MOTORS. The owner of which is, John Snyder. They are rear engine trikes, motorcycle laws apply. And because they also have seat belts, state law says you have to wear them. They are not Renault Robins. I personally drove one around a 10mph corner at 30mph, it didn't even hint of picking up the inside tire. They are what they are, worst mpg I got was 54mpg.
Cute. Like Father Guido Sarducci might say, "It's a little bitty 'beep-beep' a-car.
It sort of exists. There is a single cyl 250 and 150 of this, as well as a smaller one that has room for only three. The driver sits front center with motorcycle handlebars. That is the one you want, but it isn't allowed in the USA since we don't have a moped car classification here. :/
Looks awesome. Good MPG and I would guess it's very easy to work on.
Yeah! The four seater chassis of this snyder tranfered to the toyota i-road concept. Wella! we have a 4 seater i-road.
I love how the snyder name is just some stickers on the car. These were imported (through some miracle of DMV trickery!) under different names from what I've seen. Would love to try one out if I ever came across one.
Oldbmwr100rs no they failed emissions test therefore ceased import
It definetely looks like a Matiz, there was an electrial version called Zap Xebra which was discountinued. Snyder it is an American Company called Wildfire, which is based in OHIO, but cars are manufactured in China.
Zap also imports the vehicle from Fulu motors in China. Same body. There is a four wheel one from Fulu too.
And the best part is the free parking because it has carrying handles on both sides!
Hay a la venta en peru
It actually is cool. The car is good looking in a cute sort of way when you see it in person. Much smaller than you might think too. Yet, it has a lot of room in it, especially for the rear passengers! It also drives quite nicely too. I went 70MPH with myself and two others in it. It is much faster than I was expecting as it easily got there too. It can't go faster than that since about 75 hits red-line on the engine. It only has 4 speeds.
If you're looking for one in Illinois, I saw one today on the lot at Bill Jacobs Motors on West Jefferson Street in Joliet. It's a red 2012 with a slight dent in the front end. I didn't notice the price. I had to look at it to figure out what it was. Snyder? Doesn't sound Chinese to me . . .

Very cute car. Cheers!
More storage than a motorcycle, safer than a motorcycle, and rain is no longer a problem.
Sure people will laugh... but at 70mpg, I'm sold!
I need this kind of car right now!
Sorry for the delay in my reply. RUclips didn't notify me of the comments. In some Alibaba listings and in a few other places they say Gas/diesel. However, there is no diesel version available. Chery does make diesel engines, but not for this application and size. The minimum order is usually 6 for a 40 FT container, or 4. I have seen some listings that allow two. However I have not seen the new FL600zk-a models available in two. Make sure to get the twin cyl 600cc engine! Not the single cyl!
Don't worry about flipping it over on a turn, just get out and set it back upright.AND expect more flipping off from others than flipping on turns.
Well, I saw one of these on the road, and I spent 20 minutes slowing down (on the highway) to 30 mph so that my passenger could take pics... What a trip! You gotta admit: it takes a lot of chutzpa to drive one of these in public!
I live that it is falling apart as you demo the interior.
Gangsta Smurf Mobile! (looks about the same size as the kids Barbie Jeep) lol
Hey it's bigger than. A smart car. Just this one tips over some times.comes with kick stand.
This makes a Mitsubishi Mirage look great!
Bring them to the UK! they would sell like hot cakes,P.S give me the franchise!
+Lawrie John No it wouldn't sell like hot cakes because the build quality is really bad. It's not like a Hyundai or Kia; if it was, than maybe it would stand a chance; if people trust the three wheel concept and want to be seen in this.
While this is considered a bike as you could see he said "Motorcycle license"
I would say this is a motorcycle but in the form of a car for safety.
Don't lean into the turns, It'd probably tip...but the interior is better than I expected.
Seen them new for around $6,000 - and 75 mpg & only 5 gallon tank, max speed is 60 & cruise speed is 45.
Beautiful car
Kenji, I also see they're available equipped with a diesel engine (and multiple colors): Better fuel economy?
Also, I'm seeing a minimum quantity of (2) to complete as purchase.... Your comments, please?
Thanks, again!
saw the thumbnail picture of the video - I be like - 3 wheeled mod daewoo matiz
Kingsman, I suspect the ST600 actually handles decently, because unlike the Wildfire, the Snyder puts the engine directly between the rear wheels, which is the most stable place for a trike. The wildfire had the engine under the front seats, too close to the center wheel, which makes it inherently less stable.
Matiz tricycle!
Γαμάτο!
I would love to see that! we have a GL1800 here at home, and let me tell you you would be doing wheelies on command in this car with that engine in the back!
I wish RUclips would let me know when I get a comment reply!
These are not that hard to get ahold of. I have a dealer 12 miles from me, and I have access to as many as needed. There is no 2013 model. Wildfire will be importing the new FL600zk-a model (last one was FL600zk-7) which has mag wheels and many other enhancements. The new dash looks awesome too. No more fake wood. Now it's silver and fake carbon fiber, with orange buttons. Looks wicked actually.
It has a LOT of room in it. This is not a race car, so you can't fly around corners. However it will NOT flip like a robin! The weight distribution is WAY better. When driving this you will forget it is a three wheel motorcycle. It acts like a normal car. Just don't take the corners too fast, be careful. That said I can go around the tighter highway curves here at 60 MPH no problem.
It is worth the price!
You also have to consider not everyone can afford a decent car and it does mean independence for the individual and family outings
My goal is to eventually have one of these cars, not as a collector or anything, I just think they're neat.
I have one n would like information on it
OK, it's safer than ANY motorcycle. Someday we all may be driving vehicles similar to this; it's just a matter of time. We need to start building cars like this right here in America and put more people back to work!
Sorry I failed to answer some of the questions due to the char limit.
I do not currently have one, but I have driven them. There are no issues with highway travel. I don't recommend holding 70MPH though. That is right near the redline for the engine.
It is most comfortable at about 50-60 for highway travel.
There are no stability issues with this vehicle at all really.
The vehicle has a super reliable SQR272 engine by CHERY. The wheels, disk brakes, and shocks are all made by Suzuki. There isn't much to go wrong with the vehicle honestly. The trans is a 4 speed constant mesh with no syncros. Hardly anything to wear out. The clutch is a standard dry one, easy to change. The timing belt needs to be changed at 70k miles, at the point that this car has already paid for itself. (Shocks and brakes etc are warranted that long too by Fulu.)
Modern version also 4 door version of a reliant robin
Looks like Reliant robin and Daewoo matiz had a baby together they call it Matizobin
At least in my country you do, it's why Reliant Robins were popular.
Cute little thing.
Cole Jackson Daewoo Matiz is cuttier than this.
Reliant Matiz! Awesome.
If I got one, the first thing I would do is get outriggers like Jeremy Clarkson did
on Top Gear to the Reliant Robin, then I'd install 3 turbochargers and a cold air intake.
It is quite nice to drive, and it would be interesting to see a roll in it. I believe it would just slide rather that tumble since it is so light weight. I don't think it would have reason to "bite" and start tumbling.
The three wheel thing is correct. Motorcycles do not require crash tests or air bags. There is a four wheel version of this exact vehicle by the same company. (Fulu motors) Despite that being safer, we don't allow it here since it has no airbags. :P
Street legal in America?
I just visited a dealer in Wellington, Florida called East Coast Tri Motors. They told me $8500 for a 2013 model after dealer fees.
modern trotters independant traders ,just paint it yellow, del will love it
love child of matiz and robin
Der Wagen schaut witzig aus. Den würde ich in der Stadt fahren wollen;)
좋은영상 잘 감상했어요.Touch that moment will be surprised?
How much is one of those, because i want it.
They stopped importing on this import, due to the emissions were not passing, something else too.
@David Stanton or because it had a tendency to tip.
that's a good question because this is technically a motorcycle from a legal point of view so in the states where you're required to wear a helmet i wonder if you need to in one of these things
cool little car
It looks like a three wheeled Daewoo/Chevrolet Matiz. Very nice interior, though. Are they available in right-hand-drive?
Because having 3 wheels usually classifies it as a motorcycle for licensing purposes, so you pay less taxes and don't need a full car licence.
That is a Matiz!
Incidentally, with a more typical city car - particularly if it's an old 4-speed one - "near the redline" and "70mph" should only go together if you're talking about 3rd gear, and are on your way to a higher gear and somewhere north of 70 in rather a hurry. A lot of the benefit of the smaller engine will then be lost by the severe high revs and short gearing.
Does it come with a mowing deck and a snow blade?
its a 3 wheeler daewoo matiz with an extra headlight in the middle , lots of these in india i think
Didn't top gear evaluate a similar car called the reliant.....hilarious flips in it, was very unstable. How does this one fair?
Can't wait for the GT Turbo version! I did see one on the side of the road, It hit a moth and was totaled!
Excellent! Be sure to post lots of videos for everyone! There is a distinct lack of nice videos for these here. Also, if you have any questions or need help with it mechanically, feel free to ask me. :3
AAAAWWWW ITS SO ADORABLE!!!
Well at least Japan has its own reliant Robin
China*
It is quite nice to drive. Easy to forget that it is a motorcycle, or that it only has three wheels. It is stable unless you TRY to get it on two wheels.
Nice wood panel in the interior
I love this auto
How much is the Synder and where can you purchase one in the Wisconsin area
You know if you saw one in person you might even like it. You have to have the balls to be able to call a car cute though. It is. It actually looks quite cool when you are next to it. It is smaller than it looks.
