I got food poisoning in Cebu from a restaurant 9 yrs ago and after several days of dying I realized garlic. A fresh clover of garlic whole swallowed with lots of water not an empty stomach kills food poisoning and after 24hrs I was back to normal. Couldn't leave my appartelle. I was with 4 Lil ones and my hubby was back to work in Dubai. I'm super excited heading back to the Philippines at the end of January for a month.

Riding a jeepney in the afternoon is like you enter an oven 😂 i remember before its 3pm i buy icecream before i get into the jeep so i can cooldown myself cause its really hot on that day... And the moment i hop on the jeep the icecream started to melt instantly 😂 and dripping all over on my hands .....

@@thirzatravels long answer short, airplane broght me here haha...well i traveled around some nice places in EU ect but first time in asia back in 2017 for a vac in Bohol and was straight amazed from the kindness of the filipinos...never experienced somewhere close... so i decided to come back as a Nomad, had a business aswell and yeah so on... I´m from germany but my blood is turkish/kurdisch but i´m closer to germany. The weather and climate isn´t easy, people here prefer to go to the malls cuz its air conditioned :D Maybe in the morning or after 4:30pm is better to hangout outside, but i prefer outside of Manila...too much traffic and crowd. How long are you gonna stay in PH? Take care Thirza.

2:45 i have a neighbor who died on food poisoning due to dehydration,, she lost too much of electrolytes due to vomiting and an explosive diarhea,,for three days she has no appetite to eat and drink..when she got to hospital its too late..,,,
So sorry to hear that.. makes me feel incredibly lucky. I also lost alot of electrolytes, had to be on IV for 7 days.. no apetite. Still recovering from losing weight
Since you mentioned that you got food poisoning before, I recommend to always carry Travelan. It's a quick solution for food poisoning, it's an over the counter pill, available in the US, Canada, and Australia. I always make sure to have it on my trips outside of the US. Take care.
