Destiny 2: Thorn's PVE Buff is MUCH BETTER Than Expected.. (New Build Combo)

Today I discuss the new buffs in Season of the Wish to the Thorn Hand Cannon which have vastly affected its usability in the PVE Sandbox by allowing it to be more effectively used by other classes. Most notably, Lucky Pants Hunters!

hunter main here, the subclass kit is fine and mod setup is perfectly fine, the only thing i would change out is one surge with recuperations. however gunpowder gamble is quite strong with specific solar builds as in the shards build. if your not going for highest dps but better ad clear.

Drop a kinetic surge and switch to golden gun to ramp damage for both super and Thorn

This build is pretty mid tbh. Yeah, thorn is better this season but you’re still limited by the out of luck timer which prohibits you from taking advantage of Thorns increased mag. If you want to build for DPS then you’re better off slotting in Wardens law and if you want to utilize this build for ad clear then you’re better off slotting in an incandescent HC as the damage buff from lucky pants affects the scorch damage applied from incandescent. Sorry for the word vomit 😅

Yea wardens law with 4th times and vorpal almost had double the damage output and it’s a legendary, if you wanted to use an exotic malfeasance is the best dps, crimson is also great dps and has survivability and ace of spades has style but definitely not as much damage as the others but still about the same as thorn.
