Way more stress on the strut-rod to K-frame interface than the upper-control-arm pivots. The vertical separation of the moments to wheel axis is longer on the upper. This means it takes more force to accomplish the same work. Good choice on switching to the Firm-Feel! I share your opinion on heim-joints.
Can you give us a before and after g rating? How the car feels is a subjective answer to the improvements you are doing. Showing how flat the car is in a corner and the amount of g’s the car can now hold in a corner will give you and us a better, more accurate measure of improvement. I have a 73 Cuda that I’ve owned for 30 years and am interested in what you’re doing. Thanks
I definitely won't be able to do a before, but it wouldn't be the best comparison as there are already non stock components. I've been thinking about trying to find a way to measure the g's after all the improvements. I can probably get video of how the car looks through the corners. Thanks for the suggestions I'll definitely take them under serious consideration!
Hi Sir, Question; did you look at PST for suspension parts? I used them to rebuild my ‘71 Barracuda, front and rear. - Larger torsion bars, “touring” sway bars, etc. it was (10 years ago) free shipping. Not sure if that’s still valid. - Rear springs, I went with “HEMI.” I actually got them from the local Dodge dealership. - Edelbrock shocks in all four corners. - The ride does seem firmer. But, nothing like a new Challenger - Looking fwd to more of your Chally upgrades!
Yes I did look at PST, but most of their stuff is for more stock type applications and back in the day they were one of the companies I remember having upper control arms fail. They're parts aren't as "aggressive" as the parts I've sourced. I currently have hemi springs on my car I got from a Dodge dealership and after 15 years on the car they are sagging which is why I went with ESPO this time. Thanks for the question.
Hope to see the step by step of these installs. Great explanation on why you picked those. Thank you for the information
You can count on it!

Nice set up. I went with a hellwig sway bar up front with PST 1.03 torsion bars. That and 17" wheels made a huge difference.
Thanks! Hellwig and PST make good products. My 15s will definitely be my limiting factor on the handling
I also went with Bilstein struts. Leaf springs I keep going back and forth on. Definitely need to replace them next.
Just what I was looking for!!!!! Nice!!

@@LifeatSpeed there should be an app on your phone or a gps device that will give you that information.
I've started looking for devices I can mount in the car, they don't seem to be that expensive.
