- Hi all!
Thank you all for your continuous support and kind messages! In the past year I have been working on multiple projects, one of them being the longer format/ feature film project based on « playground trailer ». I have been writing and thinking about the story /lore and did a lot of new visuals and concept art in order to pitch it to different studios. I already did some of this pitches and there are some more to do in the following weeks. This all process, of developmend finding colaborators and financial support to make a project like this, is all new to me and takes some time, but Im happy to be surrounded by amazing people that are helping me a lot to make this project a reality. I will let you know once I have official answers and information but just wanted you to know that things are moving and progressing! Its just a matter of time until playground becomes a longer format!
While you wait for that, i wanted to share one of the projects I worked on during this last year, its a collaboration with adult swim on their program adult swim smalls. I did three short horror films (~2min), it was an absolute pleasure to work on this and hope to be able to collaborate again with them!

Okay this went from "oh this looks interesting" to "welp, guess there goes my sleep tonight" really quick.
I love that it uses a wide variety of horror tropes and not just the go-to ‘let me show you something really fast on the screen and hope you get scared’ trope. The title as well, gives you insight into what to expect; ‘Uncanny Alley’ a play on phrase for ‘Uncanny Valley’. It’s like a spectrum of humanoid features that doesn’t quite look like it is human. But then, there’s also just a shot of a frog wearing a seatbelt 😂

Oh this is beautiful. Mundane horror is one of my favourite genres. The idea of something unsettling developing into a horrifying monstrosity over time is awesome

Everyone here is talking about the amazing animation and how spooky this is (and rightfully so), but what I absolutely love about this (and playground) is the soundtrack. Its just a perfect balance of tense and creepy that I've really not gotten from any other artist and I love it every time.
Is no one gonna talk about my nervous system flying away?
I love how the lights and shadows are shown!
And kinda minor thing to point out, I loved how the floor looked right after being mopped, its a nice detail
I love the slight comedic aspect of the weird lil blobfish the man rescues from the road, great stuff!
Being terrified by body horror, but wanting to appreciate your cinematography artistry is a heck of a combination lol. I've been hype about your work since your Playground animation and I'm so glad more people get to appreciate your work :D
I love how the characters actually terrify me. And even then the use of bland horror tropes are at a minimum. Your art is deeply chilling and I can’t wait to see your movie.

I could imagine you having a weekly "monster of the week" short on Adult Swim or being the person who makes the transitions and uncanny promos. You're amazing and I cant wait to see what you do next!
You are so good at making full use of resources to create atmosphere. Not just the visuals or frame rates, but the sound and music … chef’s kiss.
I just love the art style and the way it makes it look especially the playground. I really wish these shows would become real because it would be so beautiful to see them.

If some company doesn't give you a budget for a movie or series I'll be livid. The amount of creativity, talent, uniqueness of the art style and the perfect use of horror elements is mesmerizing. Kane Pixels, Doctor Nowhere and yourself are on top of the RUclips horror game! I truly hope you all get to see your projects turned into something spectacular yet haunting!

your works are something else dude.
Sublime usage of contrast paired with dynamic and static shots! The slow undulating of the maggot man as he grubs his way through the windpipe corridor is a good stylistic choice. The fact that there is implied slime, but with soft surfaces makes the brain connect all the correct horror dots.
One because it's very visceral and brings the grotesque intestinal things to mind, and two, because we generally don't like the slimey sounds made by two soft soggy surfaces rubbing.
The centipede demon makes it work because of the small white centipede coming out of its mouth! It's so simple!. Humans do not have this specific contrast coming out of their mouth at that angle, but every other trait on the centipede man's face fits being a human so obviously it's unsettling.
And it just keeps coming!
All of these monsters feel good because they are not genuinely human enough, because of the stylistic choices, and the worst kind of fear a man can experience is of the known ingenuity, unknown lies and all that is mysterious without explanation...
I generally love to complain and criticize and insult people, but I have nothing but admiration for You, from one artist to another, I tip my hat to You Mr R.

I love everything about your work, from art style to how you animate movement, to decision on framing. But above all it is the storytelling, just enough to start to piece things together, but still remain so hungry to know more.
My favorite part of this is 1:18. The monster peaking in a good way is cool in a scary way. Keep up the good work.

You are a MASTER of horror and design. The angles and lighting are just stunning. Every shot is movie worthy, and it’s just such a unique form of horror that’s so refreshing. The shot of the lamb standing in that hallway staring at this giant thing in darkness gave me CHILLS MAN. I’m dying to see this story!!!

Oh, this is so good! The animations, the muted music, the grayscale. It does what a proper horror should - gives your brain enough to make it scare itself imagining everything it doesn't see, while also keeping a coherent frame around everything. 🧑🍳👌💋

The only animation I have ever seen that made me feel like when I read Junji Ito. And that includes the adaptation of his works. Fantastic work.

I'm not into horror, but I do occasionally like to be unsettled, and your work in Uncanny Alley and the Playground trailer definitely accomplished that. Hopefully you can get the funding you need for bigger projects!

This is so great, the movement, the dead weight of a body that isnt yours anymore. The persistence of fear that enters you and goes back out through your skin. The shot compositions making you feel trapped and held down as well as pushing you to run at the same time. Its so cool its my favorite thing right now.
So excited about this I don’t have words. The way you manage to balance stylization with horror is so inspiring and I love the soundtrack as usual. Amazing work dude I’m so excited you’re getting the funding to make stuff like this
