What wonderful ids for plant markers. I'm sure your back yard looks extra pretty with all your plant markers there!! I love them all. Take care and God Bless y'all always
Thanks so much, Lisa!! Our yard isn't done yet. I was experimenting to see what types of markers I want to use. I think I'll use a mix. That should be a fun touch 😃 Thanks so much for watching. Have a wonderful weekend 💖 🤗 🌿
Donna, these are all so cute. I love the laser cut ones. I seal my wooden crafts that are going outside with three coats of spar urethane. It does have an amber finish but I think it adds to the wood tones.
@@KMF3 yes. It contains aliphatic hydrocarbons. That is a downside because cleanup is a nuisance and good ventilation is needed for application but it really protects against the elements.
Instead of a laminator and using all of those expensive products (other than the Dollar tree items) can you do a version that uses inexpensive products? Unfortunately I've never seen those self laminating sheets at Dollar tree.
I have seen the self-laminating sheets at Walmart, Staples, and on Amazon. I would check other dollar stores as well. If you're in Canada, Dollarama has them. The branches and little chalkboards or other mini signs are good inexpensive alternatives. You could use a Sharpe, outdoor paint, or paint marker on the branches and signs. You could then seal the words with a varnish or any good sealant to help preserve them. An alternative to the laminating sheets could be packing tape?!? Although I have never tried it myself, it's worth a try to see how well it holds up outside. If you're using seed packets, I'd add cardstock inside the packets, then use the packing tape. I don't know how well the tape adhesive would hold up in the heat and with water!! Another suggestion would be plastic packaging or sheet protectors?!? They can be sealed with a heat tool, maybe a glue gun?? Or a glue that holds up well outside. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. I hope this helps. I was trying my best to give all kinds of ideas as I know there are lots of crafters with different tools and some with a few 😉 Thanks so much for watching. I hope you have a wonderful day 💖🤗
The craft stick won't go through the machine. As far as the self-laminating sheets, I wanted to use as much of the sheet as I could. You could try to laminate the whole thing, but I would think there would be a lot of cutting and waste. It's definitely worth a try though 😉 Thanks again for watching. Take care 💖

Oh, that's good to know. Thanks!! 😉
Thanks so much for watching Katherine!! Take care 💖
Is The spar urethane that you're using an oil-based product?

@@creartivebynature great ideas. I knew you would have some.
@KMF3 let me know if you try any of them and if they work, I'm curious myself 😉
Why didn't you put the craft stick on before you laminated and then laminate it all together?
