  • Since this quad appears to be a good candidate to put back to work, I am gathering a few parts to make it functional. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.

    Those Terra Pro's were sweet, I loved how Yamaha was thinking of crazy crap back then. I was such a Tri-Moto fan, the 225dx and DR (with its temperamental reverse lever) were so awesome. Just a run all day blast. Then when they made this, it should have caught on more but I think it was ahead of it's time. You could mow with them, till, aerate, bushhog.. then romp around in mud! That cleaned up really nice, great job getting that Yamaha blue to shine.

    The buckle side fender can be easily fixed by clamping a straight piece of wood or metal, then a bit of heat with a heat gun then clamp with a straight edge, done. Cheers🇨🇦

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  5 лет назад

      I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to wait until it's mounted and all the bolts line up, then I'm going to manipulate it with heat.

      It work well if you are not in a hurry, but I have another method for the really stubborn cables. I took a video of the process last night, I have to see how the video came out and Hopefully it is helpful.

    I was going to say that I saw a video of one of these and I saw that the high low was the right stick!!! So that other cable must be a locker for the rear end!!! Good score on the parts!!! But I have to ask when was this filmed? 64 degrees in the afternoon in August? Keep Rocking it out!!!

    Why not utilize the high and low beam light switch by using two led cube lights in the typical headlight holes and then a small light bar in the center on the high beam. Just an idea.

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  5 лет назад +1

      GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!! That is exactly what I had in mind just after shooting this video. I started to think about how much light an 18" bar puts out and realized I may not want to burn bushes all the time. definitely going to utilize the hi/lo beam function for two light options.

    No, no, no!!! You can't do this to me bro. I saw a CB radio on the bench at the start of the video. I am a CB nut, I need info! I need a video on that CB!!! :(

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  5 лет назад +1

      hahaha... great eye. I have been into CB radios since I was about 12 or 13. That radio on the bench is an old Sears Roadtalker, a Realistic meter and a Palomar 225w Linear. Group those with a 4' Firestick and it's what I run in the truck when driving up to the Ranch property. I have a whole tote full of SSB radios, other linears, base stations, D104 mics... the list goes on.

      @@yourbeekeeper I keep checking ebay. Looking for something descent with SSB. But hard finding something I can afford. I have an old CB sitting in my office that I trash picked. I really should make a video of it. Be well my friend.
