I have a 1988 Yamaha Terrapro YFP350U that we're using to cut trails and clear land along a ridge in Grant, Alabama. It's a wonderful machine and a helluva workhorse :)

it'll do about 35 or 40. The forced-air cooler is LOUD and screams at WOT. I opened mine up a bit with a bigger intake and re-jetted the carburetor to use a bit more fuel if necessary. I'm trying to figure out how to quieten the air cooler -- that's the only thing that sucks (blows?) when running wide open
@@Kalkas53 GOD yes. If this were made today it could be quite an amazing machine. I think an aftermarket oil cooler would be a great idea. It has a big oil sump for a quad (3 quarts) and the forced air system encloses the oil sump.

We had one when I was a kid and, yes, sadly I can confirm your statement. Silver Lining? We f'ed that Terrapro up, and she took it like a champ

@@chaseme930 JESUS! I think the tank is one of the largest stock tanks at nearly 4 gallons :D (i just looked it up: 3.7 + 0.9 reserve... whoa)

Really like the idea of a quad that can also be used for other things because of its pto but I take it they aren't very fast
