Just put your meter probes across the thermal fuse on the back. It's practically always that fuse, tripped open and too many heat cycles to reset like it formerly did. If it has failed, also look into the airflow, whether debris has blocked the intake or the blower motor isn't spinning at normal RPM. The extra heat kills them faster.

Since you're underneath there, you might want to swap out the blower motor. Am I correct when I say the blower motor could draw too many amps and damage the resistor Bank?
