I remember seeing this on tv SO vividly. Young teen as I was, watching with my mums. Even when this aired, life was so hard for my mum coming out and as her child, I felt her pain, experienced her isolation and abandonment etc. Seeing her and her partners pain be represented live on tv was hugely impactful. I'll never forget seeing her cry watching it... nor will I forget all the nauseated comments from family and people at school about the show days later. I'm so thankful that it's not like that anymore... or at least, has gotten better. This song represents a painful and lonely time... but also one with impending growth.

Что-то не помню чтоб было стыдно. У нас в школе каждая дискотека проходила под "нас не догонят" и "мальчик-гей" кста (что особенно иронично из 2023го)
