- A video of the largest excavation of the roman bath house on the edge of Hadrian’s Wall which has produced some amazing intaglios from the bath drains. The bath house was built in the early 3rd Century AD possibly on the orders of the emperor Septimius Severus during his campaigns in Northern Britannia

Great stuff. I'm jealous of all the roman sites south of the border. If you ever come north of the wall give trimontium or Antonine wall a visit 👍
I was sort of half listening whilst doing the dishes and I thought I heard the narrator say “also a large number of towels were discovered”. I know it’s a bathhouse but still, what a discovery that would be! 😂
