Naomi and Gianni were like family outside of the industry because Gianni greatly admired Naomi’s skill and power as a model. Can I draw attention to the fact that Nicole never even met Gianni. He was murdered in 1997. Nicole DIDN'T EVEN START MODELLING UNTIL 2002! She may have modelled for the Versace brand but certainly never knew anything about him. That really ticked off Naomi and rightly so!
But she never said Gianni specifically, she meant Versace the name/the house. Naomi is unnecessarily aggressive. Sometimes it is called for to drag someone, I won’t lie, but this was not that serious. Come on.
@@demibellini6915 Excuse you. When Gianni was alive the house/ the name/ the brand was still Versace. When this Nicole woman modelled, the house did not have Gianni, it's manager at the helm. By that time Donatella and her her managers did not specifically hand pick muses or models either like Gianni once did for his clothing. He hand picked Naomi during his tenure. Nicole just got a job to walk for the brand. She was comparing herself to Naomi and she was out of line! By that time the fashion houses just accepted whatever coathanger model that was assigned to them by their agent.
She never mentioned gianni. Nicole did walk for Versace many times as it’s still Versace after his death. People are assuming that why Naomi got mad but we don’t actually know. More than likely she just didn’t like Nicole acting superior

But there is actual footage of her touching her dress in a fashion show. She said "its not about me and you" because Naomi went off like an egomaniac mad someone wants to compare themselves to her. When she simply was saying they worked for same designers to open up a point... which was true...

Even if Nicole could credibly argue that she's on Naomi's level (lol), that isn't even relevant to what they were discussing.
K M K M she never said that she was on her level. Nicole stated ”WE as models who have modeled for Cavalli, versace etc know that designers are known to hike up the dress”. Naomi then snapped then went on a tirade.
For some quick context, Nicole had been doing digs at Naomi the entire season from episode 1, so Naomi already didn’t like her, and then when Nicole has all of her girls eventually eliminated, she got upset and then this happened. From what I recall, you don’t touch the dress if it’s too long because it ruins the material/looks unprofessional or something like that, and you’re supposed to kind of kick it out with your feet. So, while admittedly, Naomi could’ve handled it better and not been as petty as she was, Nicole had it kinda coming because of her previous interactions, PLUS trying to start this argument and then back away like she’s the victim.
Thanks for the context. I personally think Nicole had the right to give her opinion and Naomi can politely disagree. Naomi behaves terribly bullying, insulting and yelling. Naomi is the greatest but that doesn't give her the right to bully and degrade someone.
@@kashiaroundtheworld So this is the smooth way saying how Naomi can't be mad?. Nicole had it coming, she knows what she been doing from season 1. She is a manipulator and passive aggresive at best.

Because she had a point and worked hard to get where she’s at? She honestly didn’t seem rude, ah society so sensitive...not saying Naomi isn’t sometimes a little rude, but in this video I gotta side with her.
Out of context, Naomi would seem really egotistical (and she does have anger issues so that doesn’t help), but if you saw how Nicole interacted with Naomi all season, you would see that Nicole had it coming. The way Nicole tries to make her seem like the victim by leaving 🙄 Naomi is 100% correct. Naomi has reached level in the modelling people could dream of and she’s worked hard to get there. She’s also speaking from the unique experience she has so for Nicole to try and bait her. It was so obvious she was just trying to get a reaction. Pathetic honestly.
Am I the only one that understood what Nicole was trying to say? I think she meant to say that these brands wouldn't put them as models into a situation where they needed to handle the dress to walk. It's unreasonable to expect a shorter model to be able to flawlessly walk in a dress that's far too long for them and designers would be aware of that and work around it instead or not hire them in the first place. Nowhere did I get the vibe that she was comparing herself to Naomi.
Naomi’s head is too big to grasp this. She found out they worked for the same brand and didn’t even care to understand why Nicole even said what she said, she just always has to prove she’s better than everyone. Childish and unprofessional with a touch of narcissism. I have never liked Naomi through all the years of watching the face.
i think Nicole expressed what she had to express and she did it with grace, i dont know why people are bashing her? She did this with respect and kindness.
If you think respect is trying to call someone in an unwarranted unnecessary fashion and telling them that their decision is wrong and then trying to compare the experience they’ve had in their careers to validate why they are wrong… to someone who has light years more expertise in the area… I’m concerned about what you would call respect. 🥴 the audacity of Nicole to even feel comfortable coming at her like that to try and discredit and lessen a decision when it wasn’t one that she liked. THAT is disrespectful!
Lets be honest, no matter how "iconic' or how much of a "queen" naomi is no person including all the people who are praising her for this outburst would want to be friends with someone who talks like that. A bully is a bully regardless of whether you're a fashion icon or not.
All you Nicole haters saying she portrayed herself as the victim are delusional… the woman decided to stand up and walk away fearing a bite from Naomi’s unhinged barking, period. Loved how she just laughed when Naomi kept going about her choice without bias, lol.

This is what i don't understand, Nicole don't attack her, she's are just saying that other girl deserve a second chance and it's not easy to walk with a long dress (because it's really not), and Naomi starts to scream and stay angry with just her opinion.
Nicole has been rude from the start. She refused to accept Naomi’s decision and was bitter that was her last girl in the team. Nicole should’ve been a better mentor. She also should’ve respected the rules and not try to cry foul when things didn’t work out for her. She put the bad karma in from day 1 and her team fell apart on its own. She can’t blame Naomi. She should’ve been respectful. Nicole didn’t have to like Naomi’s decision but she handled it so unprofessionally and childishly.
How? She expressed an opinion. Naomi went nuts. Nicole wished them all well and left with class and laughed at Naomi. How is she a victim?

This is what happens when you try to change the rules when you’re losing and cause conflict with someone at the start of the competition. Nicole isn’t a victim. And I bet the same “oh no we gotta defend Nicole even though she started this and is really unprofessional and a sore loser” would not happen if the roles were reversed. Some people try to make those in the wrong the victims. Aka Nicole is not a victim. Nicole was unprofessional and rude. Nicole lost the game and was a sore loser.
What a terrible comment to make to anyone. You are not on my level. Says a lot about the type of person you are and how you think about other people. I admire the professionalism and staying power of Naomi and have done for a long time and am in awe of her long career but the comment was neither kind nor needed. I can't ever imagine saying that to anyone, even someone I intensely disliked.
But she isn't on Naomi level that true 🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️
Shut up 🐒 .you will never be white people level@@nubieblack886
I still don’t understand what sparked Naomi to say that. Nicole’s point was: Even when you model for a big name, they’ll fit your dress so it isn’t too long. And Naomi comes out swinging with this ‘on my level’ shit. Like: whaaaaaat
Same!!! 🫥 Even when niomi said 'u r nt on my lvl' Nicole said 'its nt abt us, it's abt the girl', i actually dnt knw abt Nicole, bt here idk why everyone is bashing her 🫥
Listen to the first minute.now Naomi is editor of British Vogue.this Woman had been a massive influence and social-political feminist fighter and figure ( not just a model ) of the last 40 years of FASHION HISTORY.not just a model...an ICON.Her aggressive attitude ?I believe Naomi see Nicole simply as another wanna be model with no relevant experience so far exactly as the contestants so she is acting as a strict teacher would with all of them (Nicole included).Naomi fought next to mandela in many charity works and social fights....as a black model she felt the duty to be an excellence in order to open the doors for other black people in every industry.before obama.before ophra.before the carters.she never bleached her skin.ever.she is proud to be BLACK and THE BEST on her industry.she accomplished that.she should get some award for what she has done ...some serious awards. .ps: she also sacrifice her personal life in order to be the best of the best models ever in history.to these days even if she is 50 the first name you can think of when someone say "top model" is Naomi.
@@CelineDionFollowersChannel thank you !!!
She is not and never has been editor of British Vogue. Please.
@@JudgeHill she is a Contributing Editor. she is a very close collaborator of Edward Enninful.google it.
@@chiaravischi That is not "editor." I do not need to Google to know that the only two names that count inBritish Vogue are Alexandra Shulman and now (unfortunately) Edward Enninful. "Contributing" anyting is just window dressing, hence fitting for a model.
chiaravischi and ?
We know so well, that Nicole stood up and went away to cry her eyes out
Idc about who’s right and what not but in real life situations you wouldnt want to continue a pointless arguement which could damage your relationships. Walking away is a classy move period.
My God .. Naomi is such a strong woman !
A queen forever
Is that the new word for rude bitch?
@@sowhat... yes in your internalised/misogynistic brain, yes it is.
@@sowhat... Naomi is a QUEEN in her field. She put that nobody inline.
Strong how? Cus she shouted at this other girl for expressing an opinion? And then made it about herself and putting down another model? U think that's strong? I feel bad 4 u.
@@stiofanmcareavey1697 should have kept her mouth shut
After seeing Naomi like this I think she can star in a Quentin Tarantino film.
"You are not on my level. You will never be on my level. Don't compare yourself to me."
" don't kid yourself Nicole" 😂😂😂😂 too much punchlines in this clip.
Don't have idea why RUclips recommended it, but i liked it
It's interesting because Ms Campbell has high level demands when it comes to work just as Wintour. They've been in that industry long enough to know what's what.
She never compared herself to her 🤷🏻♂️ maybe she should've let her make her point
A model who loses her grace and poise and raises her voice like a stage mother, is not a model.
When my mother raises her voice at me it’s bc she loves me!!! Good point tho
I love Naomi's reaction. She reminds the bitches where they belong and cuts the evil by the roots.
She was passive aggressive, sneering and condescending, downplayed Naomi’s authority as a higher succeeding model and icon in the business, and then when was told off, walked away playing the victim who was just here to be kind.
She didn’t just disagree she put down Naomi. And she knows it. I hate seeing this type of manipulation, however I’m so happy Naomi is strong and passionate enough to stand up for herself and her career decisions. An iconic woman. ✨❤️
Nicole really held her own. You could see naomi getting very defensive not her best moment
Go watch the season. Nicole was beong crazy disrespectful. Towards Naomi and the other judge. That's why it escalated. Sear for the face Australian you'll see.
This behavior from Naomi is not to be praised.
ICONIC! Naomi is queen period! 👸🏾💅🏾
Naomi, no. I will never work with someone like her.
Yeah. She is definitely not going to work with your dumb ass either.
Lolol 😂 I know right lol 😂 y is everyone trying to compare themselves to Naomi ?! I’m so confuse lol 😂 like girl ... u could never lol 😂
The massive ego baffles me. Regardless of your talents and accomplishments, never think you are more important than your peers
Its so triggering when your trying to make a point and someone is just cutting you off and won't let you speak.
I think we all have our own inner Naomi waiting for her moment 🤭
Frr!
This became and iconic internet moment lol but some years after I watch it and Nicole doesn't even compare herself to Naomi, she was only going to say that in fittings for Dior, Versace and Cavalli the model can actually ''feel'' the piece that she is going to wear and probably know how easy or how hard is going to be to show that piece, Naomi made such a big deal out of nothing lmao
THIS!!! She was saying the night before they would try fitting and see if they need to shorten it for the model. Just like Naomi, people quickly assume what Nicole was about to say without hearing her out. Let the girl talk gosh
Lmao you didn't watch the all season. Nicole called Naomi old, outdated model in the first episode. I knew it was about to go down. She came for Naomi multiple times naomi didn't respond. Now she just lost it.
@@hao9508 As much as I adore Naomi and think that she is probaly the biggest supermodel in history, it isn't totally untrue. She is outdated for today high fashion standards, but who cares anyway? she is already an icon and to have her in a runway is a privilege for any designer.
@@rodval2322 especially those years ago modeling definitely had a self life still disrespectful to say that
@@rodval2322 “today high fashion standards”??? Wait what? Where??? Who???
Naomi comes across as rude and a bully plain a simple
I knew there was context. Everyone states that she's alluding to alterations when she's clearly talking about 'touching' dresses and there's plenty of evidence supporting that she pinched her dresses up etc. 😂 You don't become aggressive like that with someone who's clearly on the same 'level' at least on that show.
Naomi was right- you never touch the dress, but Nicole was SIMPLY SAYING that she and Naomi both know- because they’ve got a similar work history- that a designer should never give a girl a dress that doesn’t fit her. That was it. She wasn’t saying she’s been in the game as long as Naomi is, she wasn’t trying to get into a pissing contest, she was simply saying that they both know the dress should always fit the girl. That’s it. Naomi either wanted to get her feelings hurt, or it’s all staged for the show (which is my guess).
Finally a sound comment!
But a good model knows how to work around that.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 finally someone gets it
Oh no. Ur argument becomes invalid the moment u said that they both shared similar work history bcus that DEFINITELY isn't the case.
Also u glazed over the fact that Naomi brought up the other model for similar example yet she didn't touch the dress. So it's still Anushka's fault.
Nicole had it coming bcus she's petty & still trying to argue with her despite the obvious reason on why she's eliminated.
Besides, Naomi responded strongly bcus she's actually close with Versace family & knows them better than Nicole. Her bringing it up is just irrelevant like what does that has anything to do with her model elimination? U're not doing a good job in trying to defend her lol.
@@resurgingflame every single one of your points you’re acting like are slam dunks against me have anything to do with what I said… They’re both models, they’ve both worn and walked in the same brands (more or less), and so they both know about a dress needing to fit the girl. That is the only point I’m making. Naomi needs to save that energy for the dirtbags who discriminated against her in the 90’s.
Honestly I feel Naomi never really respected Nichole because of how she started. Nichole started by winning a reality competition. She managed to walk in major fashion shows, but she has way less experience then Naomi. I think the producers brought her in
Nicole was very graceful, lets be honest.
I like Naomi and find her entertaining, but she is obviously hypersensitive to criticism. If you agree with her behaviour then you must be very emotionally immature.
True!
no she is passionate about her art and craft. that Nicole girl was clearly wrong and then tried to bring Versace into it (Naomi’s long dead FRIEND). that was very messy of her and she even did it with a smirk on her face. you defending her must mean that you’re emotionally insensitive.
@@moneymikeg24 the personal attacks were unnecessary and cheap. Being passionate doesn't equal bullying people just because they disagree with you.
She lasted longer then some of the other ppl on this show have when confronting naomi
gosh..youre a model naomi..youre pretty and thats it..there are millions of pretty people out there. nicole calmly tries to talk about another woman and naomi is only attacking her on a personal level...pretty doesnt make you a good person and money cant buy dignity. cudos to nicole for behaving gracefully
You don't get why she's upset? You obviously don't know her credentials and the modelling business then. So why comment? it's not that "anyone else who has ever worked with Gianni must never, ever bring it up in front of her." Nicole knew what she was doing. She had the audacity to bring up Versace in order to try and throw Naomi under the bus as being a hypocrite. Saying they would never act as harsh a she did, which was ridiculous and disrespectful. If you couldn't see her line of thinking while she started that spiel- anyway. In addition, Versace brought Naomi up and was an amazing mentor who she respected, so saying those baseless things were ridiculous. Not to mention Nicole contradicted herself because those top names would NEVER launch out a model who was not ready, and the model Naomi got rid of had FAILED
im guessing you dont really watch the whole series lol
I watched the whole series and hate naomi so much
naomi was completely right. if you have limited options, you don't hire the one you feel like it has improved but the one that has already worked hard and is ready to go. maybe in other setting the model would've got the job out of pity, but she should be thankful for being mentored by naomi, for being told nothing but the truth about her skills. if she really loves the job, she will eventually learn to take the critics, specially if they come from seniors who know more. the other woman's comments were not necessary. at all. in fact, she's delaying her.
- sorry for my english
As much as I love Naomi she really is condescending to others without any valid reason
She have reasons tho. She is the best model period. Best walk.
@@ellaes6602it doesn’t matter what she is. She humiliated herself here.
"you are not on my level Nicole."
now I'm offended
Both are unbearable.
Noami God complex is revolting.
I literally get anxiety when people say Versacii.
