Thank you for watching our D&D video and we hope you enjoyed the Path of the Beast/War Magic build. If you have any questions, comments or build requests please leave them in the comment section below.
Thanks for fullfilling my request , i loved how The Beast Witch came out, fits the concept perfectly, something maybe i would change if i would play this build taking more levels in wizard around 2 or maybe make it a barb 6/ wiz 14 and maybe change the race for something that give the chimera vibe like a tiefling , shifter , changeling , lizardfolk, symic hybrid or some other race
Your welcome, it was a lot of fun. We considered taking more wizard levels to get third level spells. Blink would be really good with this character but we decided giving up an ability boost wasn't worth it considering how many abilities we needed.
Changeling would be a fun race for this. Kind of like Mystique from the X-Men comics, where she can grow claws and get big.
This was an incredible build. Love the background and would personally swap out the Background Feature: Revered, akin to Goblinoid-Acolyte/Folk Hero to be more functional: Rune Shaper, for the Feat, Rune Carver. Personally very fitting for Witches. The Spell in question is, Armor of Agathys. A non-concentration Spell that benefits from Barbarian's Rage's damage resistances to extend THP and increases DPS.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it. Your suggestion is very good. We haven't started using Bigbys giants yet but the feat and background is excellent for this character, especially since these goblins have a decent relationship with the giants.
Interesting build. Don't really have much to add, fits the concept you all were going for and performs reasonably well. The Rage doesn't become as much of an issue as long as you plan around it, and treat your spellcasting as utility casting.
Agreed, if you work around the drawback it isn't too much of a problem
Did you guys just make Eda the Owl lady from Owl House? I kid but also 👀👀
Lol. Had to Google that I hadn't seen it before but I definitely see the resemblance.
