Speak rather of our Bill of Rights and our Constitution, which states that any law passed to circumvent the intent of these rights-protective documents, on which our rights-protective system of law is based, is automatically void of all force or power.
NONE of the abuses inflicted upon us under the excuse of various 'emergencies' (which do not exist to provide 'valid excuses' for inherent human/protected civil rights violations) have been legal under Canadian law.

Which is why the country is the state it's in, and why I am planning now on leaving.
I know many who have left and more who are contemplating a permanent move. I fear the next government will have such a difficult time reversing every marxist liberal legislation but there will still remain the wokesters who occupy positions of power and influence in every institution in Canada.
Thankfully, I live in Alberta, a bastion of common sense in standing firm against the marxist onslaught by Ottawa. If the judiciary allows the feds to circumvent the constitution and its original meaning, Alberta and hopefully, a couple other provinces will secede. This scenario will not necessarily be a clean break and may take years for the province to adjust and at great cost. I know of a few groups in NE Calgary who have attempted to persuade politicians of Sharia Law. Luckily, we have dodged this issue but it will arise again.

The Governor General who holds the Royal Prerogative should have dismissed the government closed the Parliamentary term and called new elections. It didn't happen here in NZ. It didn't happen in Canada, and it didn't happen in Australia. This was a serious failure of our constitutional l Parliamentary systems. The Queen (then) as head of state and the Governor general as her representative hold the royal prerogative to defend the sovereignty of the people against any elected government that imposes without legal or moral justification measures that harm individuals and destroy social cohesion. All the Party-Political class of the west appeared to be acting as if THEY OWNED THE COUNTRY and economy. They do not and no elected government ha the right to close business and workplaces from freely trading. They got away with it by effectively nationalizing millions of people's jobs paying people to NOT go to work.
