The Saints are…interesting. Their secret sauce is the 1st down machine, aka Taysom Hill. They’ve completely ignored him this year. He produces on nearly every play and the defenses don’t have an answer for his skill set. He is perfect for Red Zone yardage and they’ve forgotten how to utilize him.

Look into if the plays youre disecting, who called which ones and what not. That would tell alot. IMO, Carr will only have success with a certain type of coordinator. Carr will only have success with a strong oline. Hes made receivers their money. Dont need anyone fancy, just capable. So hes definitely a starter.
This team absolutely destroyed Houston in the 2nd half. After totally obliterating NE the week before. If this team had Wil Lutz, it would be 5-1. DC4 very intelligent, very capable QB. This team will be good. Very good. Just need to be patient. Maybe another jolt of Gruden is in order!!
It takes time to develop chemistry with receivers and to become confident in a new offense. Derek has had to be a quick study due to turnover in the Raider organization. Give the young man some time (and maybe Hunter Renfrow), and the Saints can be really good on offense. The Raiders are having the same issues with Garoppalo...no it's worse, because Jimmy is now all of a sudden a turnover machine and he's often injured.

Carr will be fine. The o line is struggling, I know on the last drive vs the texans they were just getting handled. According to press stuff they have been having issues with guys not knowing what to do when audibles are called, which is a big reason Carr is here cause he wanted to dictate more of what is happening at the line. I think by the end of the year the saints offense will get it together. Also the people who are on the Winston wagon, the guy came in vs the packers with a 17pt lead and couldnt do anything. But even then the kicking game has been shit, it has cost them 2 games this year so far.
As a Raiders fan, sorry to break it to you… this is who he is. He looks like he can be great at times and then others he’s awful and the good never outweighs the bad. He’s just a lose unforgettable. Happy feet with pressure that turns check down Charlie because he has a bad line. He’s way worse with a bad line cause his happy feet
It seems to me Carr is too afraid to take risk by throwing in tight window or closely guarded. The pressure from Penning side he could have stepped up to the left and scramble. Big hole with no DB, LB close by. He's too afraid to throw INT and take hit. The throw away to MT , Sheed was wide open had he held the ball a little longer and go to his second read. As a Veteran QB you have to know in that play that one of those 1 on 1 will be open. He should be able to 1st read MT was not open then go to his second read for Sheed. His decision has always been a few steps behind and they resulted in many under throws.

None of these plays point out where Carr _should have_ gone with the ball, the whole video is just plays where everyone is failing their position and he has no one to throw to, and a defense bearing down on him. This just reinforces Carr's presser where he said the team isn't reacting to what the defense shows them, and so they all just run the "basic" version of the play that was called in.
I think Carr is solid, but there is a reason why he was available. If he was elite, Raiders would have locked him up. They determined they hit their ceiling with him. It'll likely be similar with NO. He might make the playoffs in the yrs ahead, but they won't be a serious title contender. He's a top 20 QB, not top 10
That whole Raiders situation is just a mess. Almost anybody offensively that Gruden had, McDaniels sent packing and replaced with former Patriots. He made the comment that he could make any high school quarterback an all-pro. That guy's ego is wild. Stidham, Hoyer, Adam Butler, Jakobi Meyers, Phillip Dorsett, Chandler Jones, Brandon Bolden and Garoppolo were all former Patriots. This guy thought he could make Patriots 2.0.
You can blame the Raiders for blowing up a playoff team. And now what as they struggle for years to find a QB…Back to wash, rinse , spin and repeat. Should be there mottle.
@@fzoulcmbyl2134 He was focused on the other guy. By the time the defender turned around, Kamara would have been 10-12 yds down the field. You do understand he is an elite RB for a reason.
I believe there was a chance he could juke the defender sure, and that would have been a good gain, but the defender was 100% on Kamara and even charged towards him when Carr raised him arm to throw. So with a defender charging and the ball not even thrown yet, the odds are there wouldn't have been time for Kamara to turn and juke the guy.
Sure the O line is struggling but Carr is a mediocre QB at best. The Saints wont go far with Carr. There is a reason the Raiders moved on from him. Carr is the same QB, different uniform.
@@muchpear1950He's def not lol. That was my complaint. The spacing on the second play is awful. One defender was guarding the two recievers running the crossing routes.
Slow read to progressions and bad decisions for a vet that's terrible when rookie qbs beating you
The saint's has the players....they need a scrambling quarterback like cj stroud or lamar Jackson....the saints do not need no pockett quarterback.. if the saint's had a scrambling quarterback they really could move that offense down the field. ..i never ever seen cam Jordan get hurt in a game and for.this to happen it got to be the head coaching..6 or 7 saints players got hurt. In the atlants.game....i think some of them could have played but they tired of the coaching staff and Derrick Carr..
Thats the real problem....sean Peyton is with the Denver broncos and Russell Wilson is a.scrambling quarterback and they have won 5 games in a row against good teams....Dennis Allen think use your head...you cant win games bringing quarterbacks from other teams.that cant play .....next year.draft a scrambling quarterback 6 ft 2.inch or better that fits in.the saint's offense..Derrick carr not.it
Their secret sauce is the 1st down machine, aka Taysom Hill. They’ve completely ignored him this year. He produces on nearly every play and the defenses don’t have an answer for his skill set. He is perfect for Red Zone yardage and they’ve forgotten how to utilize him.
The first play wasn’t zone. Clearly that was man with two defenders double covering.
The play calling is poor... and NO YOU CANNOT GO DEEP FREQUENTLY IF THE O-LINE Protection is NOT CONSISTENT ! But the play l calling lacks creativity in my opinion !
I guess you the fact that Olave gave up on that first play, let up, and didn't even try to get to the spot Carr was throwing to. Olave isn't giving anything 100% where he's not the first option.
Maybe you haven't watched by Olave is getting killed on plays
Still no excuse
@@raheemgilliam2224your receiver not trying to find a spot where he’s open is a valid excuse if I’m not mistaken, but to be fair that’s just something younger reviewers will learn over time
That's what Amari Cooper did during his last year with the Raiders. That really pisses me off when a player does that.
In that first play, there is a defender about to hit Carr in the back. He threw it away. 1:38
First play is 2 deep routes and a check down u couldn’t have made it any easier for a defense
You don't develop a game plan that relies on kicking field goals with those skill players. This team should be getting touchdowns not field goals.
Carr would have been one of the best QB's in the league if, if he hadn't of had his leg and back broken!! Watch film of him in 2016 before he broke his leg, he was one of the best!! It all changed after that, understandable so!!
As a Raider fan, Carr is a headache :
He’s not good enough to carry you ; but he’s not bad enough to bury you.
I think the Raiders front office is what buries the Raiders. Carr I'm almost certain was never the issue. Saints for the past 2 seasons have a front office problem as well. I sincerely believe he went from one badly run organization to the other.
@@dbsti3006 I guess the Saints organization is now the blame for Carr playing like trash? lol
Everyone always trys to blame raiders organization carr is a great guy but he's more of a stat QB he's a 15-20 QB not a top 10,the raiders have same record as the saints do,I'm not hating on carr he's a class act but he will drive you crazy
@@DragonLuffy.Nope, just Pete Carmichael.
Currently the worst playcaller in the league by a longshot. He’s so bad he’s nearly 2 times as bad as the second worst playcaller, the bengals OC.
@@DragonLuffy. Yes. That is the point most fans are trying to make. How loud do we have to scream that the coaching staff sucks in New Orleans to get it through your thick heads? That is EXACTLY what we are saying. The Saints organization sucks. What point did you miss for the last 6 games? Raiders suck. Saints suck.
Whats the excuse now its 2024 with a new OC
Bench Carr and put Winston in now
DEREK CARR IS STRUGGLING BECAUSE HE FKN SUCKS. RAIDER FAN HERE AND WE ARE SO GLAD HE’S GONE
Do your assignment
Carr stuck around for so long because he would play his best football when the Raiders were officially eliminated. False hope for the next season.
What he was, is what he is an average quarterback
There’s been some debate on Twitter whether it’s the players or the coaches, I think it’s both. Bad playcalling with a mixture of mediocre effort by players gets you 20 points/game.
Bro you have no clue on how to breakdown plays
The powers that be have visions of Brees in their heads. Not happening. The offensive line aren't dominating. The WR's aren't jelling. Kicker and OC are mediocre. And i see a lack of passion from D.A. With all due respect, Loomis needs to move on. No living in the past ...
_"He looks like an NFL player just not a very good one"_ 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pete Carmichael takes a vast majority of the blame at this point
Fire Pete Carmichael
They need a real te.
Carr is a mid QB. 10 years in, he’s AVERAGE. Different team with better weapons and he’s still FAILING (red-zone).
David Carr pumped his little brother. Saints bought into the hype. Both Carr sucks. That’s why David is in the booth yapping nonsense.
The last four plays where the SAME formation and 3/4 4 verts… The OC gotta go!
Can you make a video on Cam Taylor Britt he has been super good this year
I’ve been waiting for you to drop a video on Calijah Kancey!!! I know you seen him! But no rush … I’m sure he got some dominant performances coming that you’ll have to speak on but man what a debut!
Two words Pete carmichael
As a Raiders fan, sorry to break it to you… this is who he is. He looks like he can be great at times and then others he’s awful and the good never outweighs the bad. He’s just a lose unforgettable. Happy feet with pressure that turns check down Charlie because he has a bad line. He’s way worse with a bad line cause his happy feet
Be waiting for someone to break it down
It seems to me Carr is too afraid to take risk by throwing in tight window or closely guarded.
Texans d just did a good job gave up allot of yards but didn't allow em in the endzone
On. That first play if he hit kamara in stride he could have easily taken that guy for 15+ years
Ur clearly a couch coach u think they should throw it down the field I saw every route ran at least 10 yards down the field and behind the line of scrimmage to running backs u have the best slant artist is micheal Thomas a sneaky deep threat and a good route runner stop sending everyone deep run a simple dink n dunk offense and move the chains stop looking for ur pass plays to be the play that gets the touchdown it’ll only happen once a game control the game this is coaching u saw great decisions by dc in this video avoiding pressure throwing it away instead of forcing things we need to run a standard offense niners chiefs dolphins eagles all run simple schemes and open it up with the unexpected we expect the unexpected to always work so it’s becomes the expected when playing you
Bystander effect? Lol Jackson must have a bachelors in psych
None of these plays point out where Carr _should have_ gone with the ball, the whole video is just plays
where everyone is failing their position and he has no one to throw to, and a defense bearing down on him.
This just reinforces Carr's presser where he said the team isn't reacting to what the defense shows them,
and so they all just run the "basic" version of the play that was called in.
Saints have the most talented mediocre team in NFL history.
Carr is perhaps the most mediocre QB in NFL History

Oh shit, it's Kap calling
@@ShrexyGuyKapernick- 1 SB appearance....D.Carr- 0 playoff wins, IF you respond remember facts over feelings
@@M85619 see, thinking it was Kap and not a historically good defense and Harbaugh. You're STILL overrating him lmfao. Clown
Got the same record as the saints?
Carr is a 15-20 QB he's a great guy but he's not a top 10 QB you can blame the raiders all you want he's more of a stat QB
You can blame the Raiders for blowing up a playoff team. And now what as they struggle for years to find a QB…Back to wash, rinse , spin and repeat. Should be there mottle.
They moved on from Carr and found a WORSE QB situation… shows how much they knew.
1:57. 41 was on the 40yd line, then moved further down, just waiting. Nobody would have stopped Kamara for at least 10 yds.
No mention of the texan defender 5 yds away looking straight at 41 waiting for the pass to go to him?
@@fzoulcmbyl2134 He was focused on the other guy. By the time the defender turned around, Kamara would have been 10-12 yds down the field. You do understand he is an elite RB for a reason.
I believe there was a chance he could juke the defender sure, and that would have been a good gain, but the defender
was 100% on Kamara and even charged towards him when Carr raised him arm to throw. So with a defender charging
and the ball not even thrown yet, the odds are there wouldn't have been time for Kamara to turn and juke the guy.
Sure the O line is struggling but Carr is a mediocre QB at best. The Saints wont go far with Carr. There is a reason the Raiders moved on from him. Carr is the same QB, different uniform.
Carr is struggling because he is not a very good QB....Just average.
Vegas got rid of him because they saw no future with Carr as their QB
And jimmy g is supposed to be an upgrade? 😂
@@muchpear1950He's def not lol. That was my complaint. I get that they hit a ceiling with Carr and wanted to shake things up, but the solution isn't bringing in a QB at best that's the same level as him. If they brought in Jimmy, but then additionally drafted a QB so he could be a vet bridge, that's fine. But McDaniels just handed it over to him. They're going nowhere lol. They need to invest a high pick in a QB and start over
Hold on a second. You are acting like the Raiders were good before Carr, and good after Carr. Just shut up with that stupid crap. Vegas got rid of him because just like every talented player that has come and gone from that team, they always find a scapegoat to blame, then go into another crappy season going through more coaches than people change underwear. If Vegas was this stellar team that saw a problem, then we could agree with you. The Raiders organization sucks ass and solved nothing getting rid of Carr. You either live in lala land, or are smoking some good stuff.
Carr is a Loser 😮.
Used Carr holds the ball too long.
I’ve been a Raider fan my whole life and watched Carr do this every year after he hurt his back. He’s only good when everything is going his way. He doesn’t have Waller or Adams to bail him out of these bad passes all the time. I would draft a rookie quarterback. Draft is stacked this year. But he’s not going to lead y’all to the promise land or bring home Super Bowl rings. BUT. I would rather have Carr on the Raiders this year than Jimmy made of glass Garoppolo who can’t throw the pigskin past 20 yards. 😂. Just glad I’m a D-Backs, Suns, and Arizona Wildcats fan. At least I have something to look forward to. Plus Josh McDaniels is an idiotic coward who couldn’t coach a pee-wee team. Maybe he’s the one who taught Carr how to blame others. If it makes you feel better, you guys are still in a much better position than the Raiders are.
it's not Carr. even tho he is kinda suspect in the red zone
