Hi Thomas, i have few suggestions for you to make in future youtube videos, of course if you will agree that they are relevant for you and for us) So 1st can be about filters which give anamorphic blue light streaks from brands like FlareFX Filters 77, Schneider 82mm Self-Rotating 2mm Blue True-Streak Filter, NiSi Cinema Rotating 82mm Allure Streak Blue (2mm Streak). The 2nd video idea is about filters which softens & blooms the image highlights and here is the list of filters, but you can add some more if you want Dream FX Filters, Schneider Hollywood Black Magic 1/4, Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/4, MOMENT CineBloom Filter 10% or 20%. And the last one, which nobody talks about, maybe just few youtubers is about FLYCAM Basic Flowline Camera Rig Support Vest (6.6 to 16.5 lb) , look at this item on B&H it costs 374$ and do the same job as Easyrig Minimax, i think you use sometimes camera rig support vest, so it will be fun for you to test them in real life scenarions.

"Why aren't we just satisfied with an average image?" I am asked this sort of thing regularly - but with exasperation. It is delivered to me with a whine as though I am making them late for dinner, like this: "Why aren't we just satisfied with an average imaaaaaaaaaage?!"
0:52 our eyes have a limit to the dynamic range of perception too.
If our eyes' exposure range were limitless, we'd have no need for night vision technologies. Or any artificial lighting really.
it's just broader than most camera sensors. Also I believe it helps that our irises will automatically adjust exposure in response to our subject of focus, whereas if you're capturing a frame, the entire thing will be there for our eyes to look around it, beyond just a narrow area in focus at the center of our human vision.
A camera with auto exposure turned on, like the default on phone cameras, works more like our constantly adjusting eyes. We only notice the distracting shifts in exposure in auto-set video footage because we can see it change in contrast to the surroundings at the periphery of our screens.
When it's your entire vision that's adjusting, your brain just is used to interpreting that. The exposure shifts are more noticeably when we're near the limits of our eyes' dynamic range.
Adjusting to a very dark room, or sudden blinding light, can take a minute.

If you could only have one prime lens for professional video, would you choose a 50mm or a 85mm? I'm looking at some super fast lenses (f0.95) for my micro 4/3s system and can only get one. Or should I be happy with my current f2.8 lens and be looking at getting my own camera instead? I've been borrowing one for my work.
I would do a 35mm but between 85 and 50 I would choose 50
I feel like you could play this in a high school to one group while another one isnt shown the video, give them all cameras and two weeks to make a 1-minute short and
you'd see the group that were shown this would be immediately recognizable on screen
