    I did try Orangejuice to soak my fruits for the ones that don’t want the taste of alcohol and they all loved it 🥰 think there’s no right nor wrong as long as the taste is yummie 😅❤xx

    No Apricots in our Christmas cake! Raisins, Sultanas, Orangeat and Zitronat, Marzipan can also Almond’s… and the fruits take a bath in Rum or Orange juice 😊

      Oh hello! I like to use apricots but if you don't think it's the way Stollen should be made then just leave it out or replace it with something else. I usually use orange juice in my Christmas baking like I did in my Fruit Cake with no alcohol video. You can check it out if you like, since 2020. 😊 Anyways, hope you give it a try and enjoy it. All the best!

    It's bread for Christmas. It will be rich in taste because various ingredients are in the dough. The soft dough looks delicious because it is baked in a pretty shape.

    Where is the Rum?

    • @HomeCookingJourney
      @HomeCookingJourney  9 месяцев назад

      If you want to you can definitely add rum, I don't drink alcohol so I tend to not use it in baking either :)

    • @dominusstyx

      @@HomeCookingJourney Thank you for answering. Allow me to disagree, this is a public forum where you present a traditional German Christmas bread, and not, how you personally wanted to be done, according to your preferences. You'd have added it as a note. Rum is an essential ingredient for soaking the fruits. Merry Christmas.
