- I’ve never been to a home for the Dying and the Destitute before. There is a women’s section and a men’s section. Mother Theresa started her first home for the dying in an area called khalighat, next to mar Khali and the khalighat temple. She started this home in the 1950's after she left Ireland. Its rare to be given permission to film in this home. I didn't feel comfortable filming in the woman's section, so focused my filming in the men's area..which including taking a photo of a dying man. It was an interesting experience as you will see.

What Mother Teresa and her followers has done for thr people of Calcutta is unparalleled. Her works and dedication can never be forgotten.
God bless and strengthen all the sisters of Missionaries of Charity
Multi million dollar charity with the worst living conditions of any hospice on earth. Mother herself denied needed pain meds to people dying in agony of cancer. She told them pain made them closer to Christ. Inhumane and sickening behavior. These dying people have no dignity and are often mistreated in this very hospice. So much for sainthood.
They all were destined to die on the streets with maggots on their body while they are alive. They at least had a roof above their head, food and someone to look after them before they died. Seriously you think they died without dignity!?

'At least'
Where did most of the millions of cash donations end up?
Your comments are very naïve.
While she received 5 star medical treatment in America. Hypocrisy at the highest level

Jai Mother Teresa 🙏🙏🙏🙏
St Mother Teresa, ora pro nobis
Do they provide medical care?
No, that's the point and thus the controversy.
Thank you. I hope to volunteer here one day.
I have done it before, it is very humbling
A wonderful video. Thank you
God bless you! Amen!
Of course many of these poor wretches wouldn't die if they had proper medical treatment. As anyone can see there are still no proper beds but at least there appears to be some tables and chairs. The Missionaries of Charity has tens of millions of pounds and yet it appears that very little is spent on the poorest of the poor..
Ruth you should watch my video. It's even worse than you have stated. I spent two months there and filmed undercover. It was like something out of Auschwitz.
They have other charities which they fund and I'm not sure how you got the tens of millions of dollars, i.e., no one knows how much they receive in donations and how much is allocated to the home for the dying???
@@oncall21 We're watching a video right now about the state in which the home is run and there is nothing untoward about what was displayed and how the dying and destitute were treated!!!
Where's the hospital you run? What aren't you taking care of these people? Oh wait! You're just here to complain about these nuns.
@P. Rod Yes, I agree. You're speaking to the wrong person.
So sad
Alama it feel better
Bismila
People are visiting this place from England and other foreign countries but most people from Kalighat is avoiding this place ...sad but true..
Santa Madre Teresa de Calcutá, rogai por nós.

Abraços fraternos!
Thanks momma's and your loved
"Mother" teresa got so much money in donations, yet the hospital is in such a poor condition. Most of th emoney was used up in religious conversions.
It is hell, this is sad that missionaries are doing corruption like that , they get a lot of charity and they treat poor patients like garbage.
Shame on these missionaries like teresa
These missionaries get so much money from donations and yet look how they keep there conditions mother Teresa house were the poor could get help I mean she had so many people that could help her to get them better conditions medical treatment and this is how she used her power… I say the pictures of that building it was horrible. I find it heart breaking I mean saying the gods name will not make you better I need to go to a real hospital to checked by a doctor
They get millions of dollars in donations and they could not make better conditions
