I’m so glad you showed the rainbow ripple blanket. I am a very inexperienced crocheter, and started the blanket but ripped it out because the stitches were way too loose. I want to try it again. When I do, I will try and remember your clue about not every row being an increase row. As always, your color choices for your projects are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
Excited for all your making energy Eunice!!! Gorgeous blankets - I think that's a great way to use Malabrigo Rios! I think a circular blanket goes over a glider/rocking chair nicely?? Also can be used as a play/tummy-time blanket on the floor??? Love all the socks you're knitting up! Take care and talk soon friend~Stephanie
Hi Eunice! So glad I found your channel! I love adding knitters/crocheters to my podcast lists! I love knitting socks and blankets as well. I haven't tried the rainbow ripple blanket yet, but I've done the 6 day star blanket a few times
Love when you drop a new podcast! You get my blanket mojo going!!! I’m obsessed with the #campus vest and really want to knit it! It’s amazing that the knitting community shares so much with each other. ❤❤❤
Loving your channel! I’ve made both the Anthology throw and the Rainbow Ripple. I love a circular blanket because it can be folded in half and used as a shawl/wrap. I use the Anthology almost daily on cold mornings as a shawl around the house.
I LOVE my circular blanket for setting at my desk on my Office chair that rolls, since it Covers the Front of my legs but due to the Curved shape i dont roll over the blanket ❤ Also the #Evelyn top looks great!
ooooh that's a great point! I have a rolly office chair as well.. never thought of a circular lap blanket as the solution for it not getting rolled over! brilliant.
The #Campus vest is so cute! And a wonderful layering piece that I've been having my eye on. Also loved seeing your progress with all your socks! It's inspired me to pick up my smaller needles again to get more socks going in my drawer and maybe a couple for my partner as well. :)
The #Evelyn top design looks brilliant! I have wanted to knit a tank with buttons but I’ve been worried about the gap issue and haven’t wanted to knit flat. Thank you for sharing this pattern!!!
All of your socks are soooo cute. I have really been on a sock making frenzy this summer. I am on the summer lee train and looking forward to making the colorwork cuff each month. Finishing August this week and looking to make the September one Christmas or winter colored.
I love both of the garment patterns you are branching out to knit, though your sock knitting productivity is inspirational as always as well. I would love to twin with you in the #campus vest!
I love seeing all of your blankets today! What a great idea to use Rios for the crochet blanket! I’m sure the circle blanket will be cozy if it’s big enough. Although I haven’t tried it, I’ve heard about threading your yarns through a button to keep them from tangling. You might want to try it out! 😊 #evelyn #campus
I really like your crochet granny square blanket with the small squares and your colorful ripple blanket. Love the colors of your Coloring Book Raglan. It has a really nice drape. 🧶
I love all your projects and plans right now! I was a tester for the Evelyn top and absolutely love it, despite my inability to sew in buttons 🤦🏼♀️ the #campus vest is also high on my list and I would love to make it this fall ❤
That #Evelyn top is everything I’m looking for. It’s a bit more than just a tank top with the faux button band but knitting in the round. Ticks all the boxes for me. Might I add I’ve made many socks but yet to make a tank or garment. LOVE you podcasts too 😊 As I’m in Australia we’re hopfully heading into warmer weather so the Evelyn tank would be perfect for summer approaching
PS still on the seemingly never ending gift socks train 🚂 over here. Mixing it up by trying Patons Kroy Socks for the first time. I took your experience to heart and am knitting the socks on size US 2 (2.75mm) and going down a size from my regular fingering weight socks stitch count. So for dear husband it’s 64 stitches and it fits him as he says “like a glove”. I’m loving that they will definitely be more durable as he is hard on his hand knit socks but loves them
ooooh I'm happy to hear that Patons Kroy on US2s are working out! I might have to try that next time - the yarn is def still a great one. thanks for the comment and for tuning in again. :)
Love shorty socks for your daughter, they are giving me an autumnal vibes 🍂🍁🌼 just as your yarn choice for #campus vest 🤩 I am still indecisive about color for it, maybe something denim or grey 🤔 anyhow, design is so classic it will look great in any color I think
Having an “omg no way!” moment- I was just thinking that the #Evelyn top would be a perfect fit for some beautiful purple silk yarn that I have in my stash! (On a different note, I’ve also been knitting socks TAAT just from the two ends of a cake, and it’s been working well for me too!)
#campus :) i love your malabrigo blanket, it looks so stylish and cozy. I think round blankets are not really practical but this one will beautiful on any decent size bed.
Loving you rainbow blankets. Could you just finish off the edges of the first one that you did a lot of increases on and use it as a table cover for a round table or as center piece for a dining table? Not sure of your color palette in your home, but it could be a fun way to repurpose it without having to frog it unless you have your heart set on using all the yarn in the project 😊.
I’m finishing up a Pink Velvet, and by finishing I mean I have both sleeves still to do 😅 but I also have to finish and seam a cardigan I was working on before that. I love both the patterns highlighted here! #evelyn
It's been a while since my last garment cast on as well. Currently knitting on the The Knitorious RBG by Parker Williams. Hoping to get it done in time for the election :)
Eunice, you are so bad for my castonitis!! Those itty bitty toddler socks for S-- I want to make them so bad!! And I am so tempted by your knitalong invitation, but I already have a colorwork shawl test knit, a Monday sweater, and a granny square blanket that I desperately need to finish 😂😭
Hi Eunice! I love your podcast, you have such a great energy and enthusiasm, you make me smile each and every time. Thank you for sharing those patterns. I love both of them! I’m working on my season cardigan from Ozetta, the love letter top from Veronika Lindberg (my final summer knit) and the Idun camisole from Kajsa Vuorela Fredriksson. Have a great day! #Evelyn #Campus
#campus That vest is definitely a great choice for a layering garment for me and I think my sister would love to be gifted one too. I have enough of the same color DK weight yarn to make us matchy matchy
I love the projects you are working on Eunice! I am making my way through a Lauder sweater by Rebecca Clowe. I would love to win either of the beautiful patterns but I’m more drawn to the #evelyn tank
Hi and welcome! Oh gosh - your comment made me realize I didn't put that detail in the description - thank you for asking for it! I've since added it. The pattern is the Coloring Book Raglan by Aimee Shir. Yarn is the Toyland Kit by Green Letter Day.
Hello from Scotland :) new subscriber here. The #Evelyn and the #campus tops are both gorgeous and defo now added to my knit list hehe. Lovely podcast, thank you for sharing with us
ahaha yessssss join me with the ripple blanket as i join you back on this garment wagon... seriously, your cardigans make me want to fisherman's rib... Lol

I’m so happy you are excited to knit garments again! I would love to knit the #campus vest. I’ve had my eye on it since it was released

!! i've never heard of using a button before! that's kind of mind-blowing... *immediately goes to youtube how that's done...* thanks for your comment!
#evelyn always love stumbling upon new patterns! Love your energy and thoroughly enjoy your podcast! The knitting community are just awesome people!!!
Evelyn - this is so cute! Love the faux button band in the front 😊
I really like your crochet granny square blanket with the small squares and your colorful ripple blanket. Love the colors of your Coloring Book Raglan. It has a really nice drape. 🧶
I'm so smitten with the Campus Vest--I have yarn coming next month that will be PERFECT. Can't wait to cast this on for the fall! #campus
Love the Evelyn pattern, knit in the round.
Crochet is fun! I love all you blankets! I also thin the #campus vest looks amazing! ❤ I need to find some yarn to make one!😊
You could use a button to thread the yarn trough when doing the 2 at a time with one ball.
Yes! That’s what I do too.
someone else just mentioned that as well!! I'm soo curious now how to do that... must look it up ASAP.
I love that monotone blanket. Very classy.
I love all your projects and plans right now! I was a tester for the Evelyn top and absolutely love it, despite my inability to sew in buttons 🤦🏼♀️ the #campus vest is also high on my list and I would love to make it this fall ❤
Hello from Swansea, Illinois. My first time watching your podcast and I subscribed to it.
Welcome aboard! Thank you for being here :)
Love the #campus top! I also love using the mandala yarn for crocheted blankets - so fun! Congrats on almost 3k!
Thank you so much!

thank you! and you are tootally right - I may need a campus vest in every color.. haha!

(On a different note, I’ve also been knitting socks TAAT just from the two ends of a cake, and it’s been working well for me too!)
it was meant to be! haha mmm the evelyn top in silk sounds like a dream!
#campus - oh love this one too! And a quick knit too!
#campus :) i love your malabrigo blanket, it looks so stylish and cozy. I think round blankets are not really practical but this one will beautiful on any decent size bed.
Oooh, I hadn’t seen #evelyn before, but both it and #campus are fab! I’m currently working on a test knit of a heavily cabled/texture pullover.
Loving you rainbow blankets. Not sure of your color palette in your home, but it could be a fun way to repurpose it without having to frog it unless you have your heart set on using all the yarn in the project 😊.
ooh that's not a bad idea. i don't have any circular tables or tables small enough for it to cover.. but i appreciate your suggestion nonetheless!
I’m finishing up a Pink Velvet, and by finishing I mean I have both sleeves still to do 😅 but I also have to finish and seam a cardigan I was working on before that. I love both the patterns highlighted here! #evelyn
The #campus vest is perfect for fall!
It's been a while since my last garment cast on as well. Currently knitting on the The Knitorious RBG by Parker Williams. Hoping to get it done in time for the election :)
You make me want to learn how to crochet!! ❤

The blanket I must try. Working in socks because of you. #evelyn wow this could be fun. Thanks for the podcast

Hahahaha the way I want to say both "I'm sorry" and "You're welcome" at the same time... haha You got this, Alice. ;)

I found your channel today. Loved it. What is the sweater you’re wearing? Pattern? Yarn?
Hi and welcome! Oh gosh - your comment made me realize I didn't put that detail in the description - thank you for asking for it! I've since added it. The pattern is the Coloring Book Raglan by Aimee Shir. Yarn is the Toyland Kit by Green Letter Day.

Love your dk granny blanket! #campus
Would love to knit the #evelyn top!
#Evelyn !
Guuurrrlll, welcome back to the dark side 😎😏
Hahha, I was tempted to start a rainbow ripple blanket too--now I know what I'm gonna do with my Riossss😛
ahaha yessssss join me with the ripple blanket as i join you back on this garment wagon... seriously, your cardigans make me want to fisherman's rib... Lol
#campus !!! 🎉🎉🎉
I've never knit a top like that before, would love to try! #Evelyn
#evelyn
#Campus
You know you could fold your ripple blanket in half and use it as a half circle shawl
Especially the one that you did too many increases on, it would be better because it would wrap around your body easier
okay what. *mind. blown.* that's brilliant!!
#evelyn !!!
#evelyn. I would love to knit this with you. 🎉
