This interview was conducted during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in accordance with the DGA contract ratified with AMPTP in June 2023. Without the labor of writers and actors currently on strike, many of the films we cover wouldn’t exist.
It must have been surreal for their family to experience silence for the first time in a couple of decades when these two moved out of the house.

As someone who also has ADHD and is also this talkative, my parents constantly talk about how eerily empty the house is without me 😅

@@Gamerswellyou’ve clearly never met very many identical twins. growing up in a pair is prone to make you more social.
@@hereticsox I have...they were one of the most calm and quiet people I've ever met.
The word of mouth hype surrounding Talk to Me is insane, and most definitely earned. And it is rare for a horror movie to live up to that kind of hype.

I feel like people really don’t understand that sure, the dog scene didn’t need to happen, but what it does to one of the leads is quite important. Jade was led to believe Daniel wasn’t sexual because of his religion but now jade is being shown, by the spirit itself, that he in fact has thoughts but never about her. I mean how would you feel seeing the person your with make out with a dog before ever making out with you? Then on top of that he just got done touching himself while looking into your best friends eyes? It serves its purpose well and creates some laughs.

One thing I don’t see in a lot of these reviews is how real the characters felt with one another. It was damn scary for many reasons, but how realistic the characters were, and how much you could see yourself and/or your friends in them was even more terrifying!
agree. like as simple as when Hayley kicking Joss after he's making a joke, that's the simple thing that me and many people did to their friends when we're having fun. such a simple details that add relatability to the characters.
Been watching these guys for years and I’m so happy to see how far they’ve come! Their energy is so infectious, they deserve all the hype they’re getting. Go see talk to me yall!!

I'm so happy it was R-Rated. I'm so tired of the PG13 stuff. Thank goodness this delivered because M3GAN and Insidious The Red Door were complete letdown ❤😊

@AdamRee-lx8uh Yes. Those 2 were pretty bad and I didn't know M3GAN was a comedy. I actually didn't even know it was PG13 till I left the theater & looked at my ticket. What did you think about my Talk To Me drawings on my channel? Lemme know.

I actually did Talk To Barbenheimer!!! On July 20th, I saw Barbie at 3pm, Oppenheimer at 5pm, and watched the San Diego Comic Con screening of Talk To Me at 10 pm! And Michael and Danny showed up to say hi, it was great. Lmao I was actually going to watch Barbie after Oppenheimer, but the week after I bought the tickets, I scored free tickets to see Talk To Me and I couldn't not go. Thank you A24!!!

this movie really scared me, and im still scared. i went to see this movie a 2nd time in the theatres with my 2 friends so they can experience it and i had a really bad anxiety attack. my friends weren’t reallly scared as i was but it’s because i had a nightmare experience just as mia did in the movie.
why would you watch it again if you knew that it could have that effect on you?
@@lilfranny5611 i actually loved it at first, i loved that i was scared. but then knowing what was coming up gave me bad anxiety, knowing that they (the spirit) warned the boy that someone was following him; to run, stay away from the hand. he could’ve been saved if they would’ve listen to the signs and didn’t let him play the game. but they did let him play and that led him to get very hurt and trapped in hell, getting tortured by all those spirits.

i took an edible before the movie and got super duper anxious during some parts too, i even yelled without meaning to during one of the riley scenesif you know you know 😭

these guys are actually very funny, and their comedic timing so good. I think because of this they created a horror masterpiece because comedy and horror have many similarities. Talk to me was my personal greatest horror movie in recent times.
😂😂😂 the crazy frog comment is hilarious because there was a point when her phone rang a while and the sound was getting so annoying 😂 but I appreciated hearing a nostalgic sound lol
That was the best horror film I’ve ever seen - cannot believe these two directed it, smashing job

They could definitely pull off a successful sequel. It would be interesting to see how the little brother & sister are affected in their future and if/how they’re still haunted by the spirits

This is one of those movies that I think my rating and love for it will increase on every single viewing. Top notch modern horror. Can't wait for more from these guys!
We DEFINITELY have Candy Land in Australia... I played it and loved it as a kid. It was my favourite board game next to the Game of LIFE
The 20 min cut better be on the dvd!!!! Also, I’ll be starting a revolt if I don’t get a sequel in at least 2.5 years!!!!!! 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

I watched Racka Racka growing up, then I saw this movie without knowing they were behind it and thought it was one of the best horror films I’ve ever seen and I am mind blown they created it! 😮 it makes sense though in hindsight, they always had incredible quality to all of their RUclips videos

Didnt know RackaRacka made "Talk to Me". Makes more sense as to why I kinda recognized the more gory scene.
These guys making this film is downright inspirational! I just wish the movie was better lol. Very derivative of Hereditary and The Babadook

Amazing movie best scariest movie of the year by far maybe one of the best movies of horror to be in the theaters in like the last 10 years seriously impeccable job. These guys are so talented I loved it.

Creative adhd twins is like a creativity hurricane, they can just bounce ideas back at forth at hyper speed. As long as they write stuff down.

that dog scene was bit weird thoguh lol. but everything esle was so good i forgot about it kind of.
Just the scene alone where Riley gets possessed shows that whatever they are dealing with wasn’t a person to begin with. Especially given they don’t reveal what Riley is seeing but just his reaction alone shows that he is seeing something that wasn’t human to begin with. But rather some indescribable monster. This is also shown just from Riley’s reaction. As mentioned before: we can’t see what he’s seeing but we can tell just from Riley’s facial expressions and his uttering of the phrase: “What the fuck?” Along with the fact he seems (while definitely scared) like he’s trying to decipher just what it is he’s exactly seeing.
This is actually a really smart way of showing that it is much scarier when you show very little and rely on implications to spook your audience.
