Is it true it is not possible to use the JBL Authentics app on iPhone of the wifi capability is not connected in your home? I tried to do it, but I do not want Wireless connection as I already have another speaker in my home using wifi. I prefer to just use Bluetooth to bridge the gap between speaker and my cell phone
How is the 300 holding up. Looking at the 300 alongside Marshall's Killburn 2 & Acton 3. For $400 (which is a heavily discounted price where i live) do you recommend this over the Marshall Killburn or the Acton?
I haven’t used either of those so I can’t speak to them but the 300 is doing well I even left it outside in a rainstorm accidentally and it survived fine after it dried out
This is a question I can properly reaply :) I had the same question as you... I really wanted the JBL, but initially I didn't want to pay so much so I got the Killburn. The impression at the store was quite good, but after some days using it at home it felt a bit dull, nothing to worry though. However, after 1 month of use it simply went dead so I took it to the store ang got a JBL instead.... and maann, what a stellar difference. So happy that the Marshal broke on me... the 300 is really amazing, and brings a lot of more functionality (cable ethernet connection, wifi connection, Alexa, etc). Go for it
