This is not just easy to follow but one of the best formats i've seen to show how to build something. You could explain it to the worlds dumbest person and they'd understand. Really, that's underrated!
A quick tip: If you want to crouch place blocks (a hopper on a dispenser for example) you can do it mid-air by pressing jump and sneak at the same time, you will stay at the same spot, but you can place blocks on top of interactive blocks without needing to land and then crouch place blocks.
Wow, this makes an ideal battleship gun. It's big, complicated, does absurd damage, and the long drop part would fit really nicely into a barbette. I'm definitely going to build a ship around a battery of these.
You should find out exactly how much damage it does by giving yourself a ton of health boost then looking at your recording to see exactly how many hearts it did

I built a machine like this, but instead of a making a Ray Gun, mine just shot out tnt and created a (barely past 1000 blocks) ravine. This machine is much more practical and uses less tnt, amazing!
Well, the conetic energy formula is: 1/2*mass*speed^2 ; so it makes sense if minecraft integrated this formula for falling objects or projectiles in minecraft, hope they did, though it doesen't apply in sand and gravel so idk
I had trouble grouping up all my arrows because i had my arrow dispenser above the explosion zone. And due to the inaccuracy of the dispenser, the 50% of the arrows would go on the floor and the other 50 on the slime block. But thanks to ur vid, I found a solution! The only additional feature i added was a lava pool the arrows would go through before getting launched. But you wont need it anyways because urs just insta kills. You are definitely underrated! I would love to see a potion super sonic cannon
Use OBS to record without a watermark, if your PC cannot handle the processing power needed for recording, you can lower encoding preset, bitrate and resolution. For editing, use simpler transitions as they are slightly too long and makes the video and audio unsynced for a little while. Also, for presentation purposes, don't use red font color without an outline/stroke effect as it struggles to stand out. In terms of audio, your microphone is picking up the keyboard and other background noise. To get rid of this, simply increase your input sensitivity (I'm not sure if PowerDirector has this). It'll sound cleaner especially in parts of the video such as 6:00. Just some content creation tips I observed as I can sense a lot of potential in your content.
This is basically a tnt cannon but arrows instead of tnt so it'll do mob/player damage instead of damage to blocks. But it also works using java redstone. You'd need to redesign it a bit to do it in bedrock. It shoots i wanna say 90ish arrows per shot which gets launched by the tnt. This is also extremely costly in survival. I do recommend building it regardless as an execution type machine but not really as a weapon for war. Also don't make the same mistake I did, there is such thing as too high and if you pass it, it'll just blow up before reaching the water.
I’m having a hard time building it on 1.17 but that may just be incompetence The arrows are shooting up and the tnt is going off but it won’t shoot the arrows far

@@AnickYT yeah a wall would definitely be a problem. Actually a really funny glitch I found is that if you shoot this at a wall the break the wall the arrows keep flying. They don't go even close to as fast but it's quite hilarious to watch.
@@gaetanbouthors wither is only 50% more and considering how fast you can make entities go while still keeping them fuctional (just think about ender pearl cannons) i dont see a reason why it should not work. the arrow immunity of the wither only kicks in at half health, so oneshotting it should bypass that

@@thorhameat I used the stone slabs with redstone on top. Its a strange game mechanic but if you put slabs on the top half of a one block area and put redstone on top you can transfer a redstone signal verticaly pretty easily

This is so cool🤩. Although I might have had to rebuild it since I forgot to cover the tnt which makes it land in the ladder instead of the water. But its all good since I it works on both Java and bedrock.
if you were on a multiplayer server, you could find a really big mountain, hollow it out, build this, aim it at a friend's base, and build a really big piston door, which could be pretty damn fun if you wanted to nuke your friend at the flick of a lever without them even knowing where it came from
One arrow from 80 blocks range does 10 hearts to unarmored people, 5 hearts to full Netherite unenchanted(more raw damage than no armor) and 2 hearts to protection 4 Netherite.(again more raw damage than with no armor) However, it does the same damage at 5 blocks range because only one arrow does damage. This cannon appears to do 12.5 hearts of damage specifically to Netherite armor based on an accurate damage calculator.
1stly minecraft didn’t make this one nor will they make others due to the fact that it’s a sandbox creative game meant for the player to use their own imagination and come up with stuff such as this. 2ndly them adding weapons of this type would only appeal to a small group of players and I feel would upset a larger portion of players. So it wouldn’t really make sense for them to add something like what you’re saying. 3rdly I’m sure there’s a mod of sorts that has weapons like this that are portable that you could checkout if you’re interested.

@@ilcotro yes the version I used for the tutorial is just a more compact replicate of the original weapon but the tutorial version completes the same task. I'm slightly confused about which barrel you're talking about but maybe Double check that you put the piston with the slime block on the correct level. How much too high is it shooting for you? If I remember correctly the 12 dispenser machine increases upwards by half a block every 15 blocks.
@@dewaltdanger7840 in the 12 row one the first line of dispensers are just below the first line of repeaters (13:21). For barrel I mean the barrel in the not redstone part of the build, I tried to replicate it but the arrows go up by 2 blocks every 50 blocks forward.
@@ilcotro I'm still slightly confused about which barrel you're talking about but yes the increase of the arrows seems correct. Also some arrows can get stuck on the ladder and surrounding blocks if that's what you're talking about, but the quantity of arrows should make of for that loss.

So arrows deals more damage when it travels faster? A player can only get hit by 2 times per second, so is the speed why it is so deadly?
Yes that is exactly why. The faster the arrow the more damage it does.
Doesn't work on bedrock edition, the arrow physics are different.

@@8o355 sounds like either your slime block is not the correct distance or your timing is off or both.

Tip: harming arrows do more damage(no matter what armor, still does same 4.5 damage)

It actually shoots multiple arrows that spread horizontally. It might be hard to get one to go super far in a one block tunnel
btw to get a pre-filled dispenser or chest place one and fill it with whatever you want, then hold down Ctrl (control key) and right click it.

Very impressive I wish Minecraft would make more weapons like these but smaller and used in greater numbers.
1stly minecraft didn’t make this one nor will they make others due to the fact that it’s a sandbox creative game meant for the player to use their own imagination and come up with stuff such as this.
2ndly them adding weapons of this type would only appeal to a small group of players and I feel would upset a larger portion of players. So it wouldn’t really make sense for them to add something like what you’re saying.
3rdly I’m sure there’s a mod of sorts that has weapons like this that are portable that you could checkout if you’re interested.
Super fun to use! but can you use poison or insta damage arrows?
You can use this in say a fake base when someone opens the door the arrows will launch at them and then they die

@@dewaltdanger7840 Today I tried to build the 12 row version. It works but the arrows go too high, and, when the tnt explodes they hit the Barrel.
After rewatching the video a couple of times I noticed that the 12 row version is a little bit diffrent. How can I replicate it?
@@ilcotro yes the version I used for the tutorial is just a more compact replicate of the original weapon but the tutorial version completes the same task. I'm slightly confused about which barrel you're talking about but maybe Double check that you put the piston with the slime block on the correct level. How much too high is it shooting for you? If I remember correctly the 12 dispenser machine increases upwards by half a block every 15 blocks.
@@dewaltdanger7840 in the 12 row one the first line of dispensers are just below the first line of repeaters (13:21).
For barrel I mean the barrel in the not redstone part of the build, I tried to replicate it but the arrows go up by 2 blocks every 50 blocks forward.
@@ilcotro I'm still slightly confused about which barrel you're talking about but yes the increase of the arrows seems correct. Also some arrows can get stuck on the ladder and surrounding blocks if that's what you're talking about, but the quantity of arrows should make of for that loss.
