In the second movie, he literally damaged himself when doing so, it made sense. Against Flect Turn, he literally only used 100% Full Cowling for much less than 14 seconds, and even then, his arms still got damaged. It is consistent and does not at all "break canon" as some say

Main thing is just how intensely he used it with how many punches he could spam against Flect. With Nine and Shigaraki, Deku used a few hits of sheer 100% force, but with Flect it effectively rivaled Infinite 100% even if just for a few seconds

They never said 100% Full Cowling would kill Deku or blow his limbs off tho, the blowing limbs off was All Might talking about Deku being weak so he couldn’t even receive the quirk but he literally trained so that wouldn’t (and Bakugo is almost as buff as Deku) Deku uses 100% on one arm and it breaks it so using 100% Full Cowling is the same but on every limb. He only “needed” Eri so he could use 100% without injuring himself but that doesn’t he can’t do it. The reason why he doesn’t do it much is to have more control over his injuries. In the movies it’s always one last rush at the end of the fights whereas Deku v Shigaraki in season it was a stamina battle so he was switching between 30/45/100% to have more control over his quirks

As for the movies, he's tapping into One For All 100% so frequently in his limbs that the poweer is spreading throughout his system. Notice how his hair is bluer when he fights Overhaul though. This is because that's a more maintained version of Full Cowling 100%. in the movies and while fighting Shigaraki his hair is slightly more greenish. The biggest inconsistency I saw was when Deku was fighting Todoroki at the UA sports festival, his 100% attacks had green lightning when 100% is meant to be cyan-blue.

All of this is explained at the start on the anime/manga.
The whole point of full cowl is trading in and out control for power.
Deku is able to use full cowl 100%, BUUUT it injures him severely.
His limit of 5/8/20/30/45% ofa are all just him placing a limit to not cause fight ending injuries after learning how to control that %. He can use 100%. But each time he does let out 100%, that's just him losing control intentionally or unintentionally.
It was never stated that he couldn't go over, that's how he was able to use detroit/delaware smashes early on (Full cowl is the same as one of those moves). He IS fully capable of letting out the length of power that ofa contains. But the whole idea of his limit is to lower this output, to not fully obliterate his body (via breaking all his bones and damaging his muscles).
It was never stated that his limbs would blow off if he used full cowl 100%. His limbs would only explode if he had a untrained body that was not ready for ofa (not full cowl). As All Might said.
Not a jab at ya, your channel seems cool. :)

I do think what other people are saying is that cause he is in a high emotional state and isn't using usually using 100% for too long in the movie's,but in Heroes Rising he definitely was using it for a long time, compared to the time he used it in WHM ,they always forget he has legs that he definitely is using at 100% in both movies yet they're completely fine at the end, it's especially bullshit when you see him use powerful 100% kicks in the movies but his bones don't break like his arms did.

You’re misunderstanding the story. The doctor even said that the rule he made in season 3 no longer applies to Deku damaging his arms because he was so much stronger. & Bakugo was already on par with 20% Deku when he acquired OFA, so him breaking his arms was far less of a worry because Deku was still a limp noodle when he first used the power. Bakugo has been training for nearly a year & even before that, he was a powerhouse growing up as a kid & teen. He could 100% handle it for a one-time use for about 1-3 minutes.

The amount of damage he takes for using 100% decreases along with how much he dominates, using it while he only could use 5% broke his bones, however, using it at the 20% limit only deals the fourth part of that damage, and at the 45% limit it is the ninth part.
That is the main reason of why he doesn't die or lose his arms or legs in the movies after using 100%.

  • @Animechocolate

For me, in the second movie, which is Deku and Bakugo against Nine, I thought that was because that 100% power was shared between them, so the quirk itself was divided between the two, meaning the power output in their bodies were less than only one singular holder of the quirk. But they made it up by combining their strength to defeat Nine.

  • @videocreator970

To the people defending 100% Deku in the movies-No. Narratively it makes no sense for Deku to have used 100% against Nine or Flect.
Shigaraki/All For One pose a much greater threat than either of the movie villains, yet Deku saw no reason to push his body to 100% during the initial battle with awakened Shigaraki despite the massive casualties that were piling up around him.
Yes, he did use 100% in his Wyoming Smash. However, he only channeled it into his arm.
I find it easy to believe that the only reason why he was allowed to use 100% in the movies by the writers is simply because theatrical movies were in play and of course they had to have an exciting climax in each movie in order to drive ticket sales

Clarification: 100% full cowling would have just killed Izuku at the beginning of the series because he was scrawny and weak. This is what all might was referring to. Hell, even Bakugou wouldn’t have this issue because he was already trained and mascular. 100% full cowling would just hurt him in the end.
By I think by World heroes mission the fact he could only use 100% for less then 30 seconds as an attempt to break flect’s reflect would explain it. His lowest limit might have been 30% at that point so maybe he could just push 100% full cowling for extreamly short time frames past this point.

Little annoying that they never let him master OFA to the point of being able to use 100% full cowl along with the others to create a faux 200% or something, I figured that would be how it ended, but he never got to the 100%, he lost his quirks one by one after being injured constantly in battle towards the end and won the battle of attrition because his opponent was falling apart. He never got that All Might aura, and I’m ngl I was kinda mainly here for the transformation of a weak kid with a good heart into the ultimate hero story, idk if that suit they’re working on for him can possibly compare to the quirk he had which would have allowed for him to continue to stockpile power until death

The thing is 100% full cowling wouldn't blow off his limbs it would just massively damage them after attacks and movements like seen in the movies and earlier in the show before fullcowling. Fullcowling is just a way to use his quirk like others do, instead of using it like a power up on one or a few limbs at max (or lower percentages as he used it at 5% during the cavalry battle and when he first fights gran torino without fullcowling) output at a time he instead basically turns on the quirk around his whole body and leaves it on at a certain percentage that way he dosent have to worry about transferring the power to other body parts on the fly. The real question would be how he can fight at 100% in these battles without permanently damaging his arms like what was suggested after the muscular battle (and the answer for that is its cool to see him fight at 100% and the second movie was based on the original ending of the series where deku probably did have control of 100% All for one)

The thing is though. the movies are infact all canon.
this is proven in the manga as the characters from the movies are mentioned, seen and know deku and gang personally which only happens in the movies.
It really is probably to do with deku's limit increasing as when he actually used 100% full cowl when fighting overhaul he could only use 5% ofa.
but the second movie and the 3rd movie take place AFTER deku has gotten over 20% ofa
So instead of bursting his limbs off, its just breaking his bones since his body is stronger. a bakugo's actually just built different anyway. dude triggers explosives point blank on his own body all the time. he has to be a durable fucker to begin with.

  • @katamas832
    @katamas832 3 месяца назад +1

I think the problem is not Deku using "Full Cowling 100%" (pretty sure in these cases he only uses them in his limbs), but how it is handled. In the manga and anime, Deku can use an arm like 2-3 times before becoming useless, 5-6 max as shown against Shigaraki. Afterwards his arms go limp, he can't move them, as we see in the aftermath, Deku can only move with Blackwhip: Froppy Style. Same goes for his legs, if he uses 100% in it, he can't stand.
Yet in Heroes Rising both Bakugo and Deku are using 100% in their legs and keep running, and the most outrageous one, World Hero Mission, shows Deku doing a 100% punch barrage, and running clearly on 100%. Yet the next scene bro is running, and lifts up Rudy, HOLDING HIM, and telling him they need to get HIM medical attention. With 2 arms should be by all means completely busted, not talking about his legs at all. I kinda lost it first time watching it lol.
This is why I don't consider any films beside Two Heroes canon. These would be plot holes. In movie continuity it exists for the sake of being cool.

I didn't really think it was that big an issue cause to me it just kinda made sense. He still got hurt and so did Bakugo. The limbs exploding I'm pretty sure was referring to the transfer of all for one initially and that Deku was WAYYY weaker than the one in rising heroes. Bakugo is also pretty physically strong even if they don't make it a point too much. But for example in season 2 Deku had used one of Bakugo's gauntlets and kinda hurt his shoulder from the recoil of the gauntlets surprised at the fact that Bakugo has to deal with that showing Bakugo's strength. Assuming Bakugo is still getting stronger physically as he trains and grows then I don't think it's that big a stretch. And for World Heroes Midoriya should just be stronger and he uses it for much less so that one is even less a stretch if at all imo.

4:09 just to let you know bro he’s actually using 45% but is using gear shift to go pass inertia which is the only thing keeping stuff from passing light speed as he then stacks fa Jin on that giving him the time/speed he would need to charge his fa Jin up to make a fake 120% with every hit

You completely misunderstand one for all in regards to deku. Deku hasn't been at risk of dying since season 1 because he trained his body to endure 1 for all. He will break his arms at 100% still (which happens in the movies) but the threat of his limbs exploding and him dying was solved in season 1. That's why he was scared of Monoma using it because Monoma didn't train his body in preparation for the quirk.

it would technically only be a danger to Nana and she was ripped.
as it basically just added on the users physical strength's as part of the pile bunker quirk.
Now think about how the combined physical power of 9 people is by deku and shigi's fight, Large mountain to high city level.
8 people gave Deku that physical strength, Deku's training before he got the quirk as well would have him dragging the equivalent weight of a car along the beach with fucking sand which makes it harder.
People in MHA are built different. so basically it posed no problem because by the time they all got the quirk they were all fit peak enough to handle it. and as i said it'd probably only be dangerous for Nana the 7th because given deku is the 9th. and it stores power. Nana's 100% would be more like 60% for Deku. and she by the time she got it was more physically fit than deku is even now. as she was SUPER ripped.
so yeah thats why when you think about it. I think deku got it at the youngest and most ill prepared. well aside from the first but it had zero stored energy by that point.

Answer: It looks cool and since they couldn't use the extra quirks and they wanted that bullsh1t ship scene with bakugou FC, they just gave him 100%.

The reason why Bakugo could use OFA straight up.

  • @GabrielRojasAhumada
    @GabrielRojasAhumada 3 месяца назад

easy explanation, he doesn´t, he could just be using ofa 60% or more on parts of his body he doesn´t move just to get protection from attacks like all might does, and the use ofa also 60% or above at the moment of impact cause that doesn´t hurt him as much, the visual thing is just that, visuals.

Deku didn't use full cowling 100 percent against shigaraki. When deku saw bakugo's body new went berserk remember banjo the 5th user told him ofa responds to his emotions so all the quirks(blackwhip and ofa) were all over de place b4 he got calmed by mirio channeling his emotions into power with the use of all the quirks. Remember his fight against Lady nagant he used a pseudo 100% using 45%+ blackwhip elasticity propelling him+ fajin. But during his fight with shigi he had all these quirks with gearshift making it look like he was using 120%. Dude jxt read the Manga geez.

For theory one of that section ( 4:18 - 4:30), I did mention that it's like a Faux 100% situation and not the traditional Full Cowling 100%. The second theory also touches on that it's the shock of Bakugou's corpse that pushed him. Both ways, I never thought that is the Full Cowling 100% we're used to. I'm excited to see how the anime depicts it in a few weeks!
