The best guest that john and gene have had on. My son has ADHD horribly and I know how he fights through it day in and day out.he is also a inner city kid that we keep him busy with sports and him being 6 ft 295 that has displayed from time to time a bad temper and very impulsive. John hit it right on the head about controlling his impulses. Please keep up the good work and bring this guest back on again I learned myself for my son. Thanks guys.

A great discussion from the panel. From a streetwise common man's perspective most can intuinionally deduct the pycho-economic, component weighs much more heavy than the benevolence of the psycho-social programs run by government bureaucracy. John said it best, white collar degeneracy in macro-crimes against society will steal the your socks off your feet. Gene has the exceptional acuity gift for quick assessment of reasoning. That is a positive gift from the challenge of a ADHD disorder. As for the good doctor his heart is in the right place, the unfortunate truth at this moment in time is the dyslexia of an incompetent and apparently now overbearing nanny state of governance at the lower working structural tiers of government bureaucracy that have left their constituents holding a societal shit sandwich from excessive political and judicial corruption. Let us ride the wind of the high gale seas and set a course of safer harbor for all Americans. There are infinite solutions, providing that is the systemic functionality will to revert to a place where there is a fighting Constitutional chance to avoid Orwellian control methods on institutionalized populations be it ex-offenders in prison or other vulnerable populations at risk for underdevelopment and fairness. Make no mistake about it even the domestic underworld element understands a fascist or marxists state will create Russian style organized crime that allows no one to live as the resources are sold to the proletariat state. I'm sure the good Doctor understands that moving forward the communist infiltration will have to be dealt with. Made in the USA. God Bless America.

For John this question is about how you deal/dealt with not seeing your kids as much as you wanted? How did you cope? Especially when they were younger? Now it’s as simple as a phone call and you having the freedom to do so. Keep this movement going guys. And how about some future episodes with other organized crime gangs, cartels etc. I think it will hit a wider range of kids thinking of the life.

I personally have struggled with impulse control and I agree with the fact that your zip code has a lot to do with your level of care is a factor.
But I think that the biggest thing that makes people violent and dependent on drugs and prone to poor impulse control it is definitely without a doubt it is ABUSE. Whether it be physical abuse, mental abuse, sexual abuse, financial abuse, or cultural abuse. I feel that people who suffer abuse lose the ability to delay gratification because they are so afraid of not taking advantage of something because it might not be there later on. Abuse puts you and your mind into a super-stressed state of fight or flight because they don't want to be a victim.

If you grow up in a city that has systemic failures it usually isn't just mental health that is at a deficit it is usually the entire political operation from law enforcement to social services where people who should be getting certain safety net things that in a good city with a good political system and a decent amount of money budgeted to help the people who fall through the cracks.
